She is great...love her...voice and besuty
Brilliant film and cast. Roger Moore always been my favourite 007
What a cast and what a movie....RIP to everyone who made this film who is not with us any longer.
So many names who we all miss so very much. And what a song. Still great to this day and forever!
amen
Back cinema was great, you see now that playboy playing James Bond and makes you repudiate it.
The Spy Who Loved Me was the first Bond film I ever saw, when I was 10 and it premiered on British TV. The ratings were 22.9 million, meaning 40% of the then UK population was watching it. I've been hooked ever since.
Carly's got the greatest voice and timing.
What great acting, glamour. Sad this is all dying in modern world. Roger Moore is the ultimate gentleman. 💯
Nobody did it better
Out of all of the actors who played James Bond, Roger Moore was my favorite, followed by Pierce Brosnan.
@@dhart28Great opinion! IMO the best Bond actors are Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore, Sean Connery, Pierce Brosnan and George Lazenby. Daniel Craig is great. My personal favorite is Timothy Dalton.
well said--Yeva.
And you've got to admit he looked bloody good in that RN uniform 👏
last minute of this song is just simply a masterpiece! Trumpets, horns, and Carly's amazing voice! Its like a symphony!
RIP Richard Kiel. Jaws was the most memorable Bond Villain Henchman to me.
lol he was also indestructable,,,no matter what you did to him ,,he just wouldnt die!
The Spy Who Loved Me. Great movie!
"all those feathers .... and he still can't fly" .. this film made Roger my fave Bond of all time
Egyptian builders !!
“What’s Bond doing ? I think he’s attempting re-entry sir.”Moon Raker.🤣🤣
@@sylvester-jb3ljThere’s a funny story behind that line you may know. As they filmed in Egypt, the Egyptian government had an official on set to make sure the country wasn’t being slagged off in the film. Consequently they couldn’t use the line. So Moore mouthed the line rather than saying it out loud, and they dubbed it over in post, the official was none the wiser! 🤣
There will never be another bad guy like the late Richard Kiel!
I still miss Roger... he was my childhood hero! Nobody DID it better than Roger Moore, thanks for the opload ; )
It hard to believe Roger Moore is older than Sean Connery:: Roger Moore ( James bond) was more down to 🌎 earth an Sean Connery (.James bonds )
Great filmjust wish Caroline munro had more screen time❤
@@loydkline wow... funny
Beautiful song and fantastic voice
Happy 45th anniversary to one of the best James Bond movies!👍👍
Absolutely! The best Bond fims are: 1965, 1967, 1969, 1977(!!!), 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1995.
You forgot 1973
Best Bond opening scene ever? Great song too.
One Bond persona that is sadly overlooked
is Rick Sylvester. He did what no one ever dreamed of doing. For 12 seconds you could hear a pin drop in the theater. When the Union Jack deployed, the British theaters erupted with cheers, clapping, and laughter.
Rick really was the hero in that film, and set the stage for excitement during the rest of the movie.
The old bond movies are the best '
Fully. Thermal thing. Not too contrived
Roger Moore was a joy to behold. Always charming and never took himself too seriously. I had the pleasure of doing busness with him on a screenplay I wrote for him, and he was the most kind and helpful individual I ever encountered in the film world. A million best wishes, Roger.. Indeed, you are the best..
Hollywood could take a lesson from him..
Everyone who has ever met him has always spoken about him in the highest regards, it’s so nice to know he was such a wonderful gentleman in real life!
Very interesting.
Where's my Gen X brothers/sisters that watched this movie when VHS was new?!?!? Love this tune and so many Bond soundtracks from the 70s/80s.
I had this movie on VHS tape back in the day.
To Roger Moore... nobody did it better .
😃 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The Great Carly Simon
Un parallelled
Reminds me of my childhood... Roger Moore was bond for me... Top film and possibly the best bond song ever
Fabulous bond song! I'm sure you'd agree live and let die was excellent?
The Goldfinger of the Roger Moore era. Beautiful song. Best Pre-Title sequence. Badass Bond Girl(Anya/Agent Triple X). Best Bond Villain Henchman(Jaws).
Nobody does it Better indeed. 😌
R.I.P. Sir Roger Moore and Richard Kiel(who played Jaws). ♥️♥️
Was it in Moonraker that Jaws saves Bond ?
You wrote beautifully - "Goldfinger" by Idan Roger Moore!
By the way, of course this is my favorite Roger Moore movie! And the second favorite in the series, after "Goldfinger"...
@@shenysys Yes and I think Moonraker was a slightly better movie, but I still love The Spy Who Loved Me.
One of the best theme songs ever made in Hollywood
My all-time favorite James Bond movie.
The final part of this song is epic!!!!!!!!! Describing the beginning and middle part is just incredible!!!!! This song is just amazing!!!!!!!!! Carly you're the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great song sung by a great singer
Those were the good old days
This and Moonraker ...2 best Bond films
Barbara Bach vs. Caroline Munroe is quite a beauty contest!
hard choices
Barbara Bach hands down.
@@jkeegan154 You're the guy who wouldn't date any of them.
@@alfredodistefanolaulhe2212 Oh and you would?
@@jkeegan154 I would if I was the drummer of The Beatles.
Roger is my favorite Bond-and Barbara Bach is also my favorite Bond Lady-
This is my Bond! Suave, entertaining, with a glimmer in the eye... Bring the fun back in Bond please!
O auge da Era Roger Moore. Um dos melhores filmes de 007.
The lotus cars, loved em!
My favorite James Bond theme of all time!
It is tough to beat.
All Tine High equally good.
Sorry to say that but nothing beats "Skyfall"
My second favorite, next to Live And Let Die.
Great soundtrack! This was a time when Bond films were not to be taken too seriously. Thanks for uploading it.
I took them seriously. They were on my favorite lisr. Im a Roger Moore fan.
How right you are!!... Another thing that changed for the worst...The criteria used to select a Bond Girl has gone way down.( The Daniel Craig series).... They all look like stylized heroin addicts and as plain as day....lol
CAROLINE, WHAT A BABE *
Moore is my #1.
This has a reputation for being the most serious Moore bond movie though.
This film saved the series the most important Bond film.
Barbara Bach - oh my….beauty !
Ринго , это ты ???
Mine too!!!
What a great song
Definitely the very best main title! And the best Bondgirl ever. Nobody can top Barbara Bach as Triplex. It's my favourite Bond for nearly 50 years now.
One of the ole fella's best Bond films. I appreciate that these films were formulaic and repetitive at that time, but they have a certain charm. Charm that's just not around anymore.
Roger Moore was built to wear a suit. The man was class. Best James Bond.
Absolutely class act
My second favourite Roger Moore movie after Golden Gun 😍
Great song
The James Bond I grew up watching and in my opinion still the best Bond.
Nowhere near the best
Another iconic Bond theme
This, by thecwonderful Carly Simon, and Live and Let Die: out of this world fabulous.
This, contained, cool
Live and let die . . oh my, the drama, the climactic build up to that explosion in sound of all things 007 Spyness
Greatest song ever, by one of the most beautiful singers ever.
Roger forever!!!
Yes!
For me best Bond movie
The best Roger Moore Bond film.
The locations were also awesome.
The best Bond movie with Roger Moore....and a fantastic theme song.
Está música marcou minha vida. Carly Simon espetacular!
Triumph!
Carly Simon unübertroffen klasse!
Best Bond movie and best title song. Roger Moore and Richard Kiel are true Bond legends and Carly Simon sings wonderful. Okay, at least IMHO 😁
Yep. Best Bond film of all time.
Goldfinger, The Living Daylights Never Say Never Again, From Russia With Love all better films. I will rate Jaws as Bond’s best villain along with Goldfinger and Scaramanga ( Christopher Lee)
@@lawrence1318
Likely the best Roger Moore Bond film along with the Man with the Golden Gun, but Dr No, Goldfinger and From Russia with Love are on another planet to those.
@@deletebilderberg Think of it this way: If the series was started with Connery and then left out Moore and went straight to the others (Dalton, Brosnan etc) it wouldn't have been anywhere near as successful as if it had left out Connery and then went straight to Moore and the others. Moore is the Elvis of the franchise. All the others are expendable: Moore is not.
@@davidbrown386never say never again sucks
Best theme song. Best pre title sequence. Prettiest Bond Girl. Best Bond film.
Caroline Monroe, oh my!
the best....
Roger Moore inesquecível, saudades...
This song can emasculate and castrate a man without medical apparatus
The 80ies were great
A Perfect beautiful song I've always loved this song. You won't hear no new songs that sounds this good. Total perfection
Es para mí una de las mejores películas de 007, con una banda de sonido que enamora ,bien hecha .
Great edit for a great song. Brilliant
The best Bond film
Roger and Sean the absolute 2 best 007 agents.
Keep the road!
*Great* *Classic* *Song* *Bond* *.*
This movie is old fashioned, sexist and politically incorrect. I love every second of it :)
Pretty song
One of the best!
Great actor and actresses , very nice movie..thank you very much 007 your the best forever
Roger Moore was my favorite Bond.
Best Bond song ever. All time classic!
There have been better. I feel like more members of the general public would know something like Goldfinger over this.
Roger Moore one of my favourite James Bond actors.
Best bond Roger Moore
☕☕time to tea thanks
Amazing James Bond movie!
Q: "Bond - what the devil are you doing?!"
Bond: "Keeping the British end up, sir." 😅😅😅
46 years ago👍
Nobody does it better
Makes me feel sad for the rest
Nobody does it half as good as you
Baby, you're the best
… I wasn't lookin' but somehow you found me
I tried to hide from your love light
But like heaven above me
The spy who loved me
Is keepin' all my secrets safe tonight
… And nobody does it better
Though sometimes I wish someone could
Nobody does it quite the way you do
Why'd you have to be so good?
… The way that you hold me
Whenever you hold me
There's some kind of magic inside you
That keeps me from runnin'
But just keep it comin'
How'd you learn to do the things you do?
… And nobody does it better
Makes me feel sad for the rest
Nobody does it half as good as you
Baby, baby
Darlin', you're the best
… Baby, you're the best
Baby, you're the best
Sweet baby, you're the best
Darlin', you're the best
Darlin', you're the best
Sweet baby, you're the best
Baby, you're the best
Sweet baby
One of my favorite Bond Movies & Carly Simon songs..
The Best Bond film opening song ever..
For me, TSWLM(1977) and Moonraker(1979) were hugely important James Bond films! What a great actors, entertainment, glamour, gorgeous cinematography, nostalgia... For me, Top-10 is: 1965, 1967, 1969, 1977, 1979, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1995. ***** Unfortunately, today's movies aren't as good as the old ones! Today(since 2006), James Bond is like a ruthless psychopathic FSB assassin, not a charming English gentleman agent..............................
He is clearly not a psychopath as he falls in love multiple times and loves M like a mother. And this is what agents are actually like, they are not out there having the time of their lives, though bond still has fun sometimes.
@@wingedferret5713
Bond shouldn’t be what actual agents are like though, it’s all fantasy nonsense. Even Fleming’s books with the darker themes are total fantasy, it’s escapist stuff! I wouldn’t say Craig’s Bond is a psychopath (outdated term anyway) but he certainly exhibits some of those traits, such as his emotional coldness (obviously formed through the traumas of his career) etc.
Roger Moore, the coolest James Bond.
La canzone è stupenda le immagini del film bellissime roger Moore. è semplicemente perfetto
that clip, where the lotus is shadowed by the helipcopter. epic
Ringo made 2 great choices in his life. The other was joining the Beatles.
All do *that* with your fingers round your eye... I'm Roger Moore...BANG! Blood dribbles down...
R.I.P Roger Moore
Carly is beautiful and very Interesting as a Singer!!!
Beautiful song
Nobody did it better Sir Roger Moore, today we celebrate his 96th birthday always with this song...
It's sad to say I just started watching the bond movies. For 56 years lost on some good movies not to mention the beautiful songs that are in the soundtracks
WHAT a whole submarine!....see ya
He's got eyebrows, you know...
You only never dies Mr. Bond !!!
Love it and all your awesome music videos for bond!!
Belissimo tema
makes me sad to think most have left us in 2023
Woke up singing this song. Classic and a reminder of special, dare I say a slightly simpler time.
