This is a review of the Screw U Joint mount for the GoPro series of action cameras. I have been using this mount on my setup for about three months now, and I really like it. It offers a tremendous amount of adjustability to fit the demands of different mounting surfaces.
I show both the chin mount absd side mount setup on my Shoei RF1100 helmet mounting a GoPro Hero3+ Black Edition / Sena GP10 Bluetooth Back for GoPro setup in the Sena waterproof case and the standard GoPro waterproof case.

It's good hearing your voice with your usual enthusiasm. Know you're depressed about the whole bit and still struggling through the recovery. To hear the defeat in your voice in your "Down But Not Out" video was just heartbreaking. Love your videos and your safety first mentality out on the bike. Wish you a speedy recovery and hope you're back on 2 wheels again soon.

That is the one thing that bothers me about go-pros... They aren't exactly slim like the sony action cam or the contour. But the mounting options for them... are crazy!
Great review! Very informative and plenty of details and close up view of the actual product. You showed several SUJ base plates during the vid. Are all the base plates included in one bundle package?

Still so happy with the Drift. But... This is great to know.
Drift spoils with its adjustability, but they make them for the Drift as well.

Really cool product and review and you have me sold! My biggest fear with the GoPro mounts was always the thumb screws falling out on the ride. Not to mention the limitations of the angles, thanks for the share on this and hope you heal up soon! :)
Thank you for the well wishes. The allen headed bolts and lock washers offer a tighter lock for sure.. I like the thumb screw for the camera attachment part

Its a very nice product, i will need to contact them to see if they have the mount with the screw as my camera have the screw to attach.

Nice dude...I was wondering how you had it mounted on the side and had it swing around to the front. I've been debating on whether or not I want to put a mount on my Shoei and do a couple of vlogs with it.
I have tried the dead cat stuff and tho super strong and semi permanent mounting are good I didn't like having to carry a screwdriver around. Hence I used the thumbscrew set up.

They do these for drifts as well
yep and Contours.. although I felt like I was able to get the angle I needed with my Drifts
I broke two of those with the swivel down at the base. both broke at the clamp.
Did you contact them? They responded to my questions pretty quickly.
dafobra Yep sent me both for free. But I'm not gonna be a drain on them. I just decided, nope they are fails.
