    Technically, there is a security guard who is supposed to keep people out (but tourists keep sneaking in and so they just bribed the guards to let them in...it's become a regular thing now with tourists knowing to toss a little money to get in). I wish they'd make a theme park with that dragon design instead of all the European theme parks they keep throwing up all over Vietnam. I love the aesthetics of that dragon and how the whole area was done.

      Vietnam could be better if they didn’t have the slum and corrupted mindset who litter indiscriminately and scamming and stealing.

    The petroleum truck is not allowed going through the Hai Van tunnel. That is why they have go through the Hai Van pass. So be careful to ride in there!

    Riding a motorcycle in Vietnam isn't legal for countries that did not sign the 1968 Vienna Convention (that includes the US, Canada, Australia, etc.). Keep in mind for those with an IDP, you also have to have a valid motorcycle license from your country for it to be legal. That hasn't stopped people from doing it, though, many just carry a faux wallet with a little bit of "coffee money" for the cops.

      i'll give you some tip on this, if you only plan to do highway and not mountainous road, a 50cc and below will not require any driving license, just remember, the top speed you can do is 40km/h on any road, even some 50cc can reach higher than that, the traffic law limit is 40km/h, it is painfully slow, but it works if you really want to.

  • @AnhHoang-mm7sz
    @AnhHoang-mm7sz Рік тому

    Just a tip, you shouldn't rent an automatic transmission bike to go on these mountainous passes since these bikes are very dangerous to ride if you loose your brakes on a down hill, go for a manual or a semi-automatic bikes so you can use engine breaking on lower gears and they only take a shortwhile to learn how to use.

    • @xxballxxvoon
      @xxballxxvoon Рік тому

      Do the manual bike requires international license? I do know how to ride one without official documents 😅

    • @AnhHoang-mm7sz

      @@xxballxxvoon cops would usually ignore foreigners on bike since it would be to much paperwork if they decided to cite you regardless of whether you have documents or not. If they do, you would just get a warning maybe
