thanks for video! This job was super easy. I did buy the magnetic thin walled socket which made this job even easier. Took me no more than 20 minutes to change all four start to finish. Easy job.
Very good video. You still managed to show the important details and didn't go off rambling about why you got this car, what you ate last Friday how your girl nags at you or anything. You simply made a great video on how to change spark plugs thank you for that
Tools are one time investment and will most likely pay off on the very first job. Check the links I post in the description for good tools that won't make you broke.
This ' how to ' video should be at the top of the list for views. I think the kids today could use a couple of school courses taught with only the hands. They aren't shown how to actually learn something they can do with their hands and not just listen to what the teacher has to say about that.
@@Alandforman No. Anti-sieze should never be used on the zinc coated spark plugs. The zinc is the sacrificial element that breaks loose when changing older spark plugs. Adding anti-seize, dielectric compound, or any other lube can greatly affect the torque applied to the spark plug upon install. You can easily over torque them, and either strip the head threads, or break the spark plug. Anti-seize is reserved for the old black oxide style of spark plugs.
Very well done vid, thanks for posting it! Your technique obviously worked well, when I reinstall the plugs I like to use a 1/4" rubber fuel hose to start the threads. All the best.
