My 2013 v6 is in shop currently getting all spark plug replaced for $820. 2nd time since 50k miles currently at 123k. Watching this video has me upset but also it confidently confirms I will never pay someone else to do this again. New skill acquired. Thank you sir.
thanks for this video my friend and it looks like something that I can follow the instructions. So i have a 2017 honda accord sport 4 doors. So, what brand of spark plugs should i use for my car? Have a great day!😊
I have been looking for how to change spark plugs on the 2014 Honda Crosstour. Hoping this is going to help since it’s a different cover. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you. Not to sound unappreciated, but the audio drops out 2/3 through and we can not hear what you are saying about the important stage of how much to tighten the new plugs.

$820 is way too much even for a v6. You can do it by yourself next time 👊
They robbed you it’s like 60$ to do it yourself 🤣
Great video. Easy to follow. Just changed mine after watching this.
Wonderful video. Got straight to the point and helped me get this job done on my own Honda.
Nice video straight to the point just what I needed it
Awesome, glad it helped you.
Just press down on end of clip, don’t need to pry up the front.
Sure, try it, but it doesn't budge for me.
Just started learning how to fix my car... This helps a lot thanks
Did you change the valve cover gasket as well ? Dealer told me I need to do this along w/valve adjustment. Thanks
True for the valve adjustment after 100,000 miles but gasket varies. I was at 250 before I did both
@@RalphAcostaj3 Yea see im around 65k miles, to me it seemed too low for those needing to be done.
what brand of plugs did you use for this repair. you did not show.
Helpful, thanks, nice closeup vid.
Any concerns with dropping spark plugs in that may throw off the gap setting ??
What brand of spark plug socket did you use? Was it a thin wall??
Thanks. Recommended Milage for a tune up? Do you have to gap the spark plugs?
Can u tell me where the power steering fluid is at I can't find it
Dealer tells me it has it but I can't find it
I have a 2013 and it’s electric power steering so no fluid
Is the 2018 Honda accord set up the same way ?
Great video thank you. How long of an extension do you recommend?
We dont add cream?

Sweet no problem, Honda OEM spark plugs or NGK just make sure they fit your vehicle.
Very Helpful and GREAT ANGLES 🤞🏾😬
That’s easy man thanks a lot!
No problem
Do I need to adjust the gap
He just did when he dropped in the sparkplug hole...😂
@@buenosznocseszI was thinking this exactly lol
Thank you for making this very informative video.
Thanks and no problem
How bad is it that one of the screws snapped for the cover (first thing you took off)?
you’ll be okay if you wanna get a new bolt you can but you’ll be fine without it
My 2013 Honda accord is driving good but I have a failed FCW system showing on the dashboard. Do you think it could be a sensor issue?
Great video. What type of brand do you recommended by this accord?
NKG dont buy from amazon..could get fakes buy from parts store
What calibration number do the spark plugs need to be?
what about 6 cylinder, will need 6 spark plug?
yeah
6 cylinder won’t be as easy as 4

It should be the same concept
What type of spark plugs did you use?
I was told by a very reliably honda mechanic to use NGK on Hondas
Check the owners manual. It lists NGK DILKAR7G11GS or DENSO DXE22HQR-D11S.
thanks this is done at 100k?
125k
Cars just cranks no start you think that could be a problem?
Most likely not, have you checked if there’s any codes?
Starter or battery
Did you ever figure out what it was i got a similar problem
Thanks man! Every when do I change my spark plugs?
Every 100,000 miles
Is it good to change the colis as well or just the plugs

Works for me
Appreciate you brotha.
Hey you should create and list the parts; sockets, tool picks, and spark plugs. Affiliate links or post the items. Thanks.
Thank you
Nice video
Thank you
Excelente!

good presentation. But, can not hear you. Need a mic..
Will have to invest on a mic. Thank you.
Honda asking for 700 to change spark plugs. Fuckkk that noise.!
$700 is crazy!
@@BrianBalatbat 100 for an oil change now a days. It was 50 but that was a long time ago
@@BrianBalatbat just finished changing them. Thank you. You saved me some money with this video. I love UA-cam university.

Terrible sound. Can not hear what the mechanic is saying
The spark plugs are already calibrated or one has to do it
No need to gap them, but check the back of the new spark plug box to make sure.
Definitely helps .....
Awesome
