David has informed me that you don't have to push the stick as far as it can go in order for a full register of movement. I suppose he just made it wider anyways! Either way, I'm really digging this controller and it's my preferred way to play the Vectrex!
Yes, like most arcade sticks. As I stated, this isn't meant to be a replica of the original controller. I've used it for a week or so and it's quite comfortable both in two hands and on a table top.

Doesn’t seem ergonomic. Original Vectrex controller had a slope, this one is tall on both front and back. Seems to be a box with holes in it?
