For most handlebar applications, the average motorcycle will take a clutch cable or clutch line (hydraulic clutch), throttle push cable, throttle pull cable, front brake line or lines, and possibly a choke cable.
Barons has done a great job with their complete line and cable kits. No longer do you need to order the aforementioned parts individually from several different manufacturers. You just order a single part number for the kit you need. Brilliant! The kit we installed in this video was Barons part number BA-8015KT-12. These kits are available for most Metric and Harley Davidson motorcycles.
Honda Cable Kits
Yamaha Cable Kits
Suzuki Cable Kits
Kawasaki Cable Kits
Watch this Internal Wiring video if you are thinking about running you electrical wires inside the handlebars. This may take some time, but the results are outstanding!

Would have been nice to show how to adjust the cables to get the throttle to snap back.
Great video...we are looking for info on installing rear brake line. Do you have a video the rear?
I wish the vidoes payed attention to more small details and went slower. They are speeded up at I opportune moments.
Exactly, thats why I said it is a terrible video!
does anyone know how to remove the electrical cables on a 90 softail heritage? I'm replacing my handlebars and the electrical wires are inside the current bars
i only watch these videos cause of kelly
How did you get the old cable into the new housing, thats what your missing.
I love yall's videos
Great video however I don't recall seeing or hearing anything about bleeding the brake lines. You must ALWAYS bleed the brake lines after doing anything that could possibly introduce air into the system.
Kelly made it difficult to focus on the bike work. Very Nice.
Cables seemed long and messy at the end for sure though.
can anyone make a video of howo remove wires from the bars on a harley?
the clutch cable looks a little short & the throttle cables look a little too long?
Great vid. Thank you
Wish you would have explained witch one is the throttle pull and push. Cant find a video anywhere
They did such a terrible job explaining with this video, I don't look forward to more of their explanations!
Go Kelly ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘😘😘😘😅😅
can you make a video on the specific adjusting that is necessary at the carburetor, where the throttle cable attaches?
I like these videos but boy they do leave a lot of steps and how to's out of most of them. This one in particular.
Hello! Changing the cables, is there a reason the gas tank was off the bike?
On most bikes although you can see what you need to do, it can be very hard to get wrenches in there. Just makes it easier.
Great video. Do you have a video for replacing a hydraulic clutch line on a bike?
You two make a great team. excellent video .
With that Wayne’s world quality lol
a beginner's question...what happens if i don't let a clearance in the throttle initial movement?
+Miguel Akio Okada If i understand your question, free play is so that when you turn your handle bars and the cables stretch, it doesn't accelerate.
Better to emphasize just in case. I'm sure there's some newbie who has no idea what they are doing and doesn't know :)
It will look better with the tank back on!
Nice video guys, but some dummy is going to forget to refill and bleed his brakes. :)
This looks like a vn900, is it?
Similar, but it's a Yamaha V-Star Classic
+Cruiser Customizing Video thanks for your response. Would it be the same concept when it come's to changing cables?
Yes they are very similar.
Thanks!
My goodness. She's a keeper! 👍
Forgot to fill break line and Bleed it!!
cables look sloppy

I'D LIKE TO ADJUST HER THROTTLE CABLE... IN THE BEDROOM!
dam she is fine!!!

Terrible video! Goes too fast and you cannot see what they do. What a frustrating video.
