Thank you so much! Someone stole my throttle off my bike and cut the throttle cables and it's my first bike, so I didn't have much mechanic experience with it. This was so well done and I did it no problem and it runs great now 😁
I know it's been a while but do you know how you removed the old clutch cable from the bike? I have removed the ends but it seems to be held on by something in the middle next to the radiator and I cant seem to figure out how to undo it without kinda destroying it... appreciate the helpful vid
So i got some uni clutch cable for my bike cuz i got bigger handlebars. And mine sticks and doesnt fully reset. Do i need to shorten the cable itself to fix that issue or does it need to be routed a certain way? I know it needs some lube, but its my first diy clutch cable job so im not sure what right looks like
Daniel Lau hard to say. I would check the routing to make there are no sharp bends that would cause binding on it first. Also, if your cable is adjusted to tight, the clutch will not fully release.
@@FLiPMOTiONS thanks for your help, I'm looking to get either 9 inch or 12 inch apes for my aero and trying to determine if I can get away with the stock cables and lines
Pretty sure these are the ones. Double check if your going to order. They are rather nice. Plenty to hold onto. Thank you very much!!!!
do you know the how high I can go with stock cable on a honda shadow for apes
Did you torque down the risers? If so, do you remember how many ft lbs?
Thanks for the help with the cables.
I did but I don’t remember. It’s been awhile.
@@FLiPMOTiONS it's all good. Thanks for the help with the cables 👍🏼

They were very easy to work with. Just give them a call.
@@FLiPMOTiONS thank you
I think I found the answer to what I've been looking for. This company can Sendmail extended cables for my 05 shadow with 10-inch apes.
I never put back on my push cable.

If I remember right, there is a hold down bracket by the radiator. I’ll have to take a closer look tomorrow and get back to you.

Erik Filipowicz okay, got it. Thanks for the response, im really havin trouble with this lol.
Did you have to mess with the brake line at all?
I had to unbolt the hold down in the middle of the line. I bought a longer braided steel line. I have yet to install in.

What grips do you have on this bike?
Pretty sure these are the ones. Double check if your going to order.
They are rather nice. Plenty to hold onto.
