I have a Larson All American 190 3.7 was totally redone all new Vinyl, Engine rebuilt. Shined up the Gelcoat cool boat, use a 14.5 X 21 prop runs great cool video
16 years ago? That was my wedding! I know I didnt drive it. I do recall somebody "decorating" my subaru though. 3 runs through the car wash and it still had some decorations remaining...
Enjoy your freedom. In Switzerland you would need a special permit to drive such a powerful boat, you would have to pass a bianual test of the boat, carry a special equipment, probably must have a fix place in the water (numbers of boats per lake are limited), maintain strict speed limits...well, it's a hobby for the very rich only, since only the fuel prices would ruin you. And they say it's the richest country in the world! Garbage it is!
I am so sorry to hear this. Very sad really. Well, vote differently. You could start a grass roots movement to liberate your country for its current liberal oppression. God bless you and your family my friend.
I just love the way you can go play in the Columbia (guessing this is the columbia river) near to all that huge comercial shipping as though its a boating pond. Jellous. Any special permits needed to play there?
I am considering a Doel Fin on my Sea Ray 175 3.0l Alpha One Gen 2. Similar to your boat. Would you say the trim tabs were worth it? or was the Doel Fin good enough?? I do not like the idea of drilling my transom for trim tabs. Any thoughts on that? Price is better on a Doel Fin too. Thanks in advance and I appreciate the video you made!
My boat quicksilver activ 455 with honda 60CV hits a lot from the front, I hesite between flaps and a hydrofoil, what do you think? thank you for your answer
Thanks for the demo of the tabs. Should never tow a tube with the wakeboard tower. Tubes can give 4000 lbs of resistance which will rip the tower right from the boat straight at your tubers. Always use the ski eye on the back.
What a video for posterity Where kids can see the work dad’s put in…just so you can sit and scream on a tube… Nice vid pops I’m told they will help my list of the boat. So…..we’ll see. Plus, inspires my tubing possibility
Please do you recommend them both? since some people say that do not fit together can you explain why not? did anyone specified why not to be instaled both on a boat.????????
I have self leveling Bennett’s tabs and I just installed a doel fin. I built a pilot house on my 13 Boston whaler and it affected the weight distribution. Wanted to make it good for three people freediving\spearfishing. Many sea trials. With The tabs fixed in place with the pin and without (how they are suppose to be). Was better with getting on a plane with them normal. But still took time to get on a plane. Then added doel fin and what a difference! Boat is finally how I envisioned it. Gets on a plane quick with three divers.
I forgot to mention the key is to get the outboard mounted high enough so that the hydrofoil is just barely above the water surface once on a plane to eliminate drag at top end
Smart tabs are the ones we went with, they worked awesome, i had a 16' Ebko Montecarlo with a 4 banger and it porposed all the time and those eliminated that shananagins
I bought the bennit made in USA but best 130buks I ever spent did help a good amount in bow rise and also stoped chine walking in heavy acceralation and it goes straight at slow speeds I love them also all 3 mph to my speed.
the tabs are better for so many reasons but worst than the hydrofoil in others point,,,...you get more drag from the tabs than the hydrofoil so for speed hydrofoil is faster than tabs
This boat would be a great way for your children to learn the art of cutting and polishing as well as recovering seat cushions and trim.
I had a wing like that on a boat I had years ago, it's main purpose was to eliminate cavitation of the prop along with bringing it up on plane.
I like your engine placement. My boat was a 25 foot Sunray Mirage 350 Merc cruiser . The engine was deep in a well. Pain in the but to work on

Showing scars from beeing used but still working perfectly. That's great. Love it!!! 🚤
Just came across your Channel because of this video and subscribed instantly! Saw the Brittany and couldn’t resist. Love mine!
Take a buffer to that gelcoat. It will look new

That is the willamette
@Red definitely the Willamette. Can see 405 bridge. That is around swan island
In Dutch the word for seal is "zeehond (literally: seadog), so I guess Stella now has 2 statusses: shopdog and seadog :-)

Nice video! Give that thing a nice wax and polish and some cheap interior and she will look like new again!
Interior needs a lot of new foam and artifial leather! A lot of work but worth it.
Does the tilt for your outdrive have a "trailer" button which takes the motor all the way up foot shallow water or trailering?
Thanks for the demo of the tabs. Should never tow a tube with the wakeboard tower. Tubes can give 4000 lbs of resistance which will rip the tower right from the boat straight at your tubers. Always use the ski eye on the back.
Try moving to the #4 hole to reduce the bow rise on the take off.
What a video for posterity

Felt bad for dog not able to enjoy seeing and getting some breeze, unless changed job title to hood ornament, forget I said a thing
Have you ever considered a 17 pitch prop?
Did you try it with tabs and hydrofoil at the same time? I have them both on mt 22ft. ranger bass boat and it does everything right......
Please do you recommend them both? since some people say that do not fit together can you explain why not? did anyone specified why not to be instaled both on a boat.????????

See what you have done? Now i want a boat
Smart tabs are the ones we went with, they worked awesome, i had a 16' Ebko Montecarlo with a 4 banger and it porposed all the time and those eliminated that shananagins
I did find that i didnt like going reverse after installing those. It would go but was pretty slugish
I bought the bennit made in USA but best 130buks I ever spent did help a good amount in bow rise and also stoped chine walking in heavy acceralation and it goes straight at slow speeds I love them also all 3 mph to my speed.
hydrofoil wings is a relatively new invention this guy seems like he install it a long time ago
Depends on what you mean by "new", they have been around for decades.
What are talking about the hydro fin and that two pice fin have been around for over 20 years now if not longer.
I'm not an engineer but I would think drag is drag hydrofoil vs tab to much of either would decrease performance
Tabs go up at speed
Stella wants to ride it too
The transom is 1 1/4" thick
the tabs are better for so many reasons but worst than the hydrofoil in others point,,,...you get more drag from the tabs than the hydrofoil so for speed hydrofoil is faster than tabs
My folks have the exact same boat
Will you sell it me and i will make the boat looks good again.
This video was a waste of time because you didn’t prove anything one way or the other! Smh
Use both...put hydrofoil back on
I guess I could
What a nasty pos! Never let my boat get like this.
Not bad
25 sec. Hahahahahahaha
