Use the 300 and it works like magic on my 16' Starcraft DC w/60hp Merc. All small boats should use one. All but eliminates porpoising. 4blade prop brings the boat up on plane 400 rpm sooner. Incredible positive difference. Absolutely works as advertised!
Should I get #1 or #5? My boat has no issue getting on plane, even with 4 to 6 people on it. But when pulling someone on ski’s the stern dives on pull away leaving the guy clinging for dear life on the rope just to get out. The engine struggles to ref up while the stern dives. It’s like it has a blind spot, bit when it gets past that it pulls like crazy.. If I put weight on the front, it doesn’t struggle.
I have the SE SPORT 300 hydrofoil ON my boat and it produced alot of drag and slow down my boat by 5+ mph so right now I'm about to take off that crap.
@@eagle5720 you may well find that just fitting on a set of the right size trim tab's would be better in the long run,, they would be much cheaper and faster than messing around with propeller size and pitches,, and they are guaranteed to work,, with any propeller!,, but if your not getting top rev's out your engine,, you could try throwing all the fat guy's off the boat,, and I know that really help's,, because my boat shot away from me when I fell overboard!,,,, forget about silly hydrofoil's,, they really do have there limit's on what they can lift and do!,, just go for a good set of trim tab's,, fit them on right,, and the job's a good-un!

It didn’t help with porpoising?

Not one single action shot of it working.
Permatrim beats them all hands down.
Just sounds like an an infomercial. I would look elsewhere to a test that generates data to analyze.
