I love book stores, half the time I don’t end up buying anything(bc expensive lol), just there for the vibes and reading the first chapter of random books
Same, i treat my library like my books store. I get the joy of picking out new books without the strain of needing to buy them and like them!

I am a latina from Uruguay (a contry next to and very similar to Argentina) and i absolutely loved carrie soto! People talk because it's free. Loved the apect of Carrie and her dad Javier being from Argentina and felt close to home. So if you don't not read the book because of the respresentation because i loved it. And anyone who doesn't it's personal taste. it's not a bad book in fact i loved it
Love this perspective! I hate that people feel like authors must personally represent every single thing they write about. It’s a story. They could have gotten firsthand knowledge some other way and it can still be a good story regardless.

AHHHH THIS WAS THE BEST START TO MY DAY! I’m kind of in a reading slump it’s more of I’m busy so I can’t read and when I’m not busy I’m just too tired to read so it’s hard but hopefully I’ll get back to Crush by Tracy Wolff! So far the first book was super cute and funny definitely a 4.9/5 for me sooo good the second one so far is really good!

book hauls are just the best! the infernal devices was my jam when i was getting into reading, i adored every single page of that trilogy! the stalking jack the ripper series is fun, the character dynamics are the best
Tracking how many pages you read each day is such a good idea! I switched from Goodreads to the app Storygraph to track all my reading and tbr and stuff, and if you update your progress whenever you read something you also get a fun graph of how many pages you read each day (plus the total of every month)! Especially if you read quite a lot it's so fun to actually see how much you read and which days you read the most. And instead of only setting a reading goal of how many books I wanna read a year I also added a goal of how many pages, since books can vary so much in length I feel like that is a more accurate representation of how much I read or want to read.
