The passenger trains used to run right past my house until I was about 5-7 years old. I left Highlands in 71.

Really great documentary. Thanks for this! I grew up in Leonardo and have lived in Montana for 8 years. Recently began diving into the history of my home town and surrounding areas and this was an awesome find!

The Sea Bright Bathing Pavilion . . . now known as Chapel Beach Club . . . was commonly known as "Elliott's" when I was a kid (growing up in Little Silver) as we were members there. But, for some reason, when narrating the various names of the place, it was never mentioned. Also, the closing titles where the letters appear over a period of time to form the complete words . . . is annoying. Otherwise, I very much enjoyed this presentation.

I have lived in keansburg for 3 going on for years now just north of Atlantic highlands this area has been ran down torn up the ferry is terrible now and the train hasn’t existed for almost 50 years now however I can see it making a come back they need to clean up the beaches and put more stops on the ferry and expand the hours of service make stops from Atlantic City all the way to nyc and booooooiooooooooooom this area would be coming back in business and making money again

If you check your map, I believe you'll find Keansbury to be to the _west_ of Atlantic Highlands.
