I would be very interested in seeing a more detailed video on FCR. I cant get a lot of stuff to work in FCR and i am not finding very good information online about it. All the info i see shows people loading the replay up right after the flight, but most the time for me that is not the case.. Also, I have seen where the recorder should record other aircraft like AI and multiplayer, but i see no option of it and when i do recordings there is no other traffic. Another issue i have is when you show how to change weather after the fact, i have no cloud icon at the top of MSFS so i am unable to change anything with the weather. I would love to get this working the way I have seen it used.
If you record a landing from a plane you purchased (like CRJ 700) will it retain all the settings and flight plan when you take over mid flight on a replay?
At the same time I don’t believe you can yet. But one way you can achieve this is run the flight track and offset each plane into formation. Where I would make the value 0 you can you can change that so the planes fly off center from their original l position. If you did that 4 times with different offsets you can fly with them.
Just purchased FlightControlReplay v4.5 and was wondering if anyone knew of any setup tutorials videos on it? I have gone through the attached PDF but found it quite confusing. I am not familiar with the Terminology used, do to the fact that I am so new to this type of product and new to MSFS 2020 as well. Alot of the PDF went right over my head. From everything I have found in the way of UA-cam Videos on this product including this one, has me chomping at the Bit, to start using it, but I have not figured out what Options need to be turned on and what Settings need to be entered to do what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
I just started using it in its default state. Did you get past the installation part? The main way to use it is, once you’re loaded in with your flight open the flight control replay program and hit the record button. Then it will have you save the file it is about to record to a location of your choosing. After you do that it is recording your flight until you hit the record button again. Kind of like a camcorder. Then when you’re done you can open the file and hit play. To fast forward you need to hit the right arrow button and then it will let you move through the track. If this still doesn’t make sense I can record a short video to help.
@@TheFlightSimDeck Thanks for the Information. I did get through the Installation process and the first thing I did was open the Options Tab and was lost, not knowing what settings needed to be checked to enable what function. I have found a couple vids about formation flying using this Software which, if I understand it, consists of Loading into MSFS at the same airport that you previously made a recording at, and somehow making a recording of yourself flying alongside yourself. I don't know if I'm explaining this well but I hope you are getting my Drift. What I'm hoping to achieve is to wind up with is a recording showing Myself in a "Group Flight" with Myself in 2 different Aircraft following the same Flight Plan. This is what I'm after. But I don't know how to Setup FlightControlReplay to accomplish this. I will try to get that first recording created and see how it works. And let you know if I'm successful.
It's amazing how pathetic developers of games have become. They make complete barebones bases then you have to go get extra addons for everything else. Ok, we are used by now to getting addon aircraft, addon AI, addon scenery, addon atc, addon weather, addon trees, addon water, addon textures... now we need addon replay software. This is absurd.
Yeah living through the P3D era was like that but worse. Everything little thing was behind a paywall. But replay is coming in the next MSFS update. Doubt it will let you fly with your recorded tracks though. I’m curious how good it will be.
Always good to have others to compare and show up how bare bones FS20 is even after more than a year. Recording, replaying AI and building recorded flights fairly straightforward in mission editor in DCS and should be standrad fare on FS20 not a pay addon. Long way to go to get that functionality in FS20 but the scenery is nice when flying low. I bought the premium version of FS20 and treat is my scenic flight program. I don't think FS20 will really shine till it works well in VR. Early days yet...
@@TheFlightSimDeck Except when you go back and see all the talk on the forums in 2019 and early 2020, FS20 was supposed to end the need for all the 3rd party add ons that most whined unfairly about in P3D. The haranguing that good folks like PMDG and ORBX for example (many others) copped was unfair imo and now hardly a squeak from the many buying the same stuff in FS20 (which wasn't supposed to need much if any of it). Good to see that some haven't forgotten that.
@@zorbalight3933 yeah people started to get overzealous in their expectations from the sim in 2019-2020. The world is far too big too big to 100% replicate. We will always needs developers for the 40,000+ airports around the world. Also nice to see the freeware has been skyrocketing with people helping in this area.
That's fancy! I hope the integrated replay on the next sim update gets similar features.
there is replay now :)
Thats a helpful tool. It’s really Nice that you can play back to a good approach without haveing to restart a flight.
The potential is awesome ( for those a lot smarter then me!) ..to be able to create some fantastic cinematic video's 😀👍.
Thanks for showing us 👍👍

Now you can FINALLY fly with formation! 🤣
Hey Patrick. Where do you get the 747-8i Emerald Harbor Air livery? Thanks
Where to download and how to install the replay?
Can you make it to total about the set up because I’m having a lot of problems with it
lots of really nice features definitely will come in handy..
Do you need to have the aircraft running and in a similar state to replay the flights?
Before I buy this have a question will it record the spoilers and flaps as downloaded a free one and didn’t record any of that
reply mode dont work ,not listed on developer page

when i try to replay a landing it never shows the landing gear, nothing works
Nice, are you planning to get "fs realistic" too?
I’m going to check that out next. So far, from the videos I’ve seen it’s difficult to see or hear the difference.
Actually... I just watched Q8's video and he did a really good job showing it.
@@TheFlightSimDeck alright I will take a look.
Could you record two and have two of your replays at once?
I'm thinking of like full on red arrows type of displays

I can`t move the slider to fast forward to a specific moment. any ideas regarding this issue ?
You have to hit the ffd button first then you can move the slider.
Wow, that's a powerful tool. Haven't even finished watching either.
It really is. I’m already coming up with ideas that I’ve always wanted to do. Once the high speed flight latency is smoothed it will be very powerful.
@@TheFlightSimDeck Very true. Have really been wanting to do some cenamatic videos in the new sim and share them.
need help ...how to developer is on options scroll down replay option not listed need help
You got a screen capture of what it looks like?
PS: I am hoping to find this 747-8i Emerald Harbor Air livery for MSFS 2020. Thanks again.
I found it in my 748 liveries. I think it came with the Sim 5 update.

More than a replay app
Me: 🤔
Fsd( says in beginning): just a replay app
Me: 😏😏
That was the segue to why it’s more 😛
Awesome tool
Thats it..Im not waiting for Asobo..
Same, I gave up many months ago. Was missing out on too many filming opportunities.
