@SteveyTheEx-Eevee 100%. Man was grieving the loss of his love. Of course he's gonna think and talk about her. I do think Martha was a good character cause every good one has flaws.
If you pay attention, when Martha and the 10th are laying down, Martha thinks about kissing him, but the second he mentions Rose, she pulls back slightly, indicating that she lost her chance and that she lost completely to Rose.
I like it when people remind the doctor of Rose, because it's like she's never forgotten, she's mentioned at least 3 times in every series with David Tennant, and a couple of times with Matt Smith... Some companions are never mentioned after their time with the Doctor...
Tbh that's why, even though 12 and his seasons are great, I just feel...I just don't feel much. There's no or barely any mention or memory of Rose, nothing.
When you think about it, he had just lost Rose in the Runaway Bride. He burned up the star, the projection faded and then Donna popped into the TARDIS. You can really understand why he is still mentioning her so much. He didn’t have time to do is usual run off and sulk across the universe.
If you pause at 3:53, when he is the 'human' Doctor with the journal, The words say 'In my dreams, she keeps walking away. She will not answer me, she keeps walking away.' It broke my heart. rose/Doctor was endgame for me.
There's also that tiny scene in Utopia where Martha asks the doctor if he just leaves them when he gets bored and moves on and Jack says "Not if you're blonde." I've been looking for something like this for ages, thank you so much.
There's also a scene in A Christmas Carol where Kazran asks the Doctor 'If you could spend one last day with your beloved, what day would you chose?' that correlates to his last day as 10, when he chose New Year, 2005, and went to see Rose.
It could be anyone though. He could think of Donna & Martha or Sarah Jane Smith, Mel or all the other Classic Who companions. Maybe even Susan, even though she was his family, beloved does not equal lover.
That's true, however the parallel being drawn was with a man and his lover. Also 'with your beloed,' rather than 'with your most loved,' or something. Beloved tends to mean 'in love with', rather than a loved one.
When he said "I could help Rose Tyler with her homework" I started hyperventilating, almost passed out, then started sobbing, because I thought that we'd see her one last time...
I can't help but feel sorry for Martha how awkward must she feel. And I loved Rose. Cried when she left. But yes all of them were good. I was glad to see that 11 gave them a mention. The other pervious.
The Doctor is so cute how he mentions Rose, but he can be such a dunce to Martha by doing so! Poor Martha, but his loyalty to Rose makes Doctor Who all the more sweet.
I didn't like Donna at first because she kept bringing up Rose & hurting the Doctor's hearts but then she grew on me & now she's one of my favorite companions. Martha was ok; I don't love her 'cause she kept trying to make the Doctor love her when it was obviously not going to happen, but I don't hate her 'cause she was pretty bad ass and being bad ass always earns points in my book.
It's hard not to love Donna, she was badass. The only one outside of Nardole and River that could kick the Doctor's ass. And the whole "I could sort out the Universe in 5 minutes, if I had more time" thing was just heartbreaking. I understand why they couldn't bring her back instead of Clara with that Time Lord moment-stopping-thingy, it would end the series right there, but logically they should have. She became more powerful than Rasillon himself!
When I was watching the first episode with Donna I kept thinking "please, don't make her his new companion" because it looked like an obvious thing to happen but I really didn't like her, probably partially because of how much I liked Rose. But when she came back after Martha it was so good. That whole pantomime between Doctor and Donna right in the middle of spying on possibly dangerous people is just amazing and now Donna is one of my favorites ❤️
TheBrester Spencer But why would he love a human who broke down barriers of all parallel universes killing everyone!? Also Rose cried because the human doctor wasn't the same.
The tenth doctor and Rose was a love story. And like all good love stories it ends in desperate tragedy. It´s gonna be hard not having Rose and 10th together we can at least say that what they had none of the companions will ever have again .... That´s what´s keeping me living otherwise I´d die from sadness
Well there is 11 and clara. They actually do like each other. 11 risked going through his time stream to save clara. She went through his to save all of his other faces. In the She said,He Said, clara sorta says she fell in love with him. And she didnt wanna leave him or want him to change/regenerate on the Christmas special. On he said she said he called her Perfect for him n too perfect
HottieJonnyROBLOX Yeah that´s true but I still think that Rose and ten was the best. But I also think that their love died when ten regenerated into eleven...However that´s what doctor who is about- someone always leaves so another one can arrive :)
Maybe nine was much more open to his feelings to Rose that ten. On the other hand I think that nine didn´t really know that he loves her that much and when he regenerated to ten just then he realized how much he loves her.... But that´s just my opinion...
***** but thing is rose and 9 really showed the love. But soon as be regenerated. In the special she thinks 10 is just a stranger who replaced the doctor (sorta what the fans always think they judge every new fucking doctor and hate. Its annoying just cause he fucking changes doesn't mean hes not the doctor hes always the doctor no matter what)and then 10 had to basically reset the relationship with rose. But it would work with 11 too. Why? Not cause the personality its jsut him thats it. And also cause it started with 9. He left. Relationship continues with a new 10
But you took me in, you stole my heart, I cannot roam no more, Because love it stays within me, it does not wash up on a shore ...he really did love her
2:40 If you pay attention, when Martha and the 10th are laying down, Martha thinks about kissing him, but the second he mentions Rose, she pulls back slightly, indicating that she lost her chance and that she lost completely to Rose.
StillJustDreaming Kind of sad the way the TARDIS tried to make up for it too. The Doctor still hates himself for the time war and she knew that Rose was the one who put him back together again after it, the TARDIS tried to replicate it after he said he hated himself.
Don't forget right after the Doctor tells Captain Jack that Rose is alive.. when Martha asks if the Doctor just gets bored and leaves them and Jack says "not if you're blonde." and then Martha gets her nose out of joint! "She was blonde?! Oh what a surprise!" Lol
I don't know, I think the reason why Ten was 'mistreating' Martha (pertaining to one of the comments on here) is because Rose has been there since the *first season* of the non-classic doctor, the one we learned to love. She's been such a significant part in the doctor's long life that she's one of the most loved companions by the doctor and she's gone now. Of course if you loved someone, you wouldn't forget her after two episodes of her gone, now would you? Of course the Doctor would keep his distance at first to Martha, since his hearts were basically torn apart after having to leave Rose in another dimension, and he (i think) can't cope with the fact that Rose is gone, so instead of crying and being like a human being, he pushes everyone away o conceal his emotions. Martha seemed really jealous of the Doctor and Rose's relationship, I didn't really like that about her but she was a good companion nonetheless. But I agree, she was good in season 3, but her in season four was quite terrible to say the least.
6:43 that face. God Tennant is great. You can just see what he's thinking. But he can't be sure. The way he interrogates Donna after she mentions the 'Woman' being blonde. 6:53 and then the way his face changes. It's just.... great.
1:06 That is an important piece of dialogue there, when he reflects on when he first spent Christmas with the Tylers (and Mickey)... Because nowdays he does this all the time, the Ponds had him over for real family situations and by s8, he practically lives in Clara's appartment and workplace... and that's what it's been like for most of the new series with him getting to meet most of the families... but Rose was the one who first "domesticated" him. Although in part, it's because most of the classic companions didn't have that many ties to their places of origin, they usually either had no families or were glad to get away from them. It was a telling little moment in DotD when the War Doctor, despite having already done plenty of gavillating around on places on Earth, was the only one of the three who had no idea what a cup-a-soup was, because, of course he didn't, that sort of thing you use on busy, boring days that aren't worth cooking properly? When'd he need one of these before, say, some day when he happened to be stuck at Jackie's or Sylvia's while they chatted with their daughter and got hungry XD
7:42 always makes me smile!!! David didn’t know about this scene, he hadn’t read the transcript, so this was his genuine reaction 😍😍😭😭. One of the directors behind Donna was motioning for him to turn around 😍😍
SEEE! This is CONTINUITY! Yes you mention her one or twice Moffat, but see, this is the proper way of connecting 3 seasons together. And for the first time in a while, I now get it why Martha left. The Doctor did much better with Donna though.
The Doctor never forgets all those people that have died or left him he can't look back because it would tear him up and he might even cry so he keeps going forwards so he doesn't have to deal with himself weeping.
It kinda breaks my heart when 11 is saying he wants a different interface and Rose comes up and he says "Great. Thanks. Give me guilt!" and when he says he could help Rose with her homework. At least it shows he will never forget her no matter how old he gets
Rose obviously is one of the best companions, and her leaving was devastating, but I like that Donna came and because such good friends with the doctor wasn't trying to replace rose like Martha was. I think Donna really helped him through losing rose
If you look hard enough then you will see that there are tons of really descret mentions of Rose in seasons 5 and 6. Donna nearly killed me in the first episode with her. When we first meet her and she asked about Rose, I cried my eyes out and screamed at her, but I like her now! And I don't hate Martha. She was just..... different.
I’ve always thought that Donna respected Rose and her memory also the Doctors love that her. Martha was jealous of the way that the doctor felt towards rose as she couldn’t understand why he didn’t feel the same way for her
Great vid! Another indirect mention, in my opinion, is the Lazarus Experiment. The doctor says to Lazarus, as he is dying 'some people live more in 19 years...' Rose was 19 when the Doctor met her.
It's true. But then again, when I was watching series 3 right after series 2, I felt the same way The Doctor did, so I can understand why he was like that
Continue_Testing I think you mean that you liked Rose? It all depends on whether or not you like Rose, despite RTD shoving down your throat that Rose is the perfect companion. *Spoiler* She's not.
HOOAH13579 Yes, I liked her and so did The Doctor. That's why I think his reaction to Martha is definitely not nice, but pretty understandable, no matter how good Martha was as a companion
I thought Rose and the Doctor-Donna would be in the Day of the doctor, it would have been a great way to bring them back. But the idea of giving a conscience to the Moment was good so I'm not complaining!
i really did feel sorry for Martha, she was doing all she could to gain his admiration and all he could do was bang on about Rose. i mean, i know the 10/rose was a love story (i am a 10/rose shipper!), and he was grieving, but still, i did feel for poor Martha.. she was a brilliant companion
Ok so Rose is stuck in a parallel universe and The Doctor can't be with her but is his ultimate goal to fix the walls of the universe so he can get back to her?
there was also the fires of pompeii, she is returning, and then in partners in crimes, what about rose then in midnight, i had friend who was lost in the parallel universe.....but great video thanks for making it ive been trying to find something like this, i just love rose, shes my favourite companion.
nice compilation, but you missed one I can think of: The Master says "You had companions who could absorb the time vortex" in 3x13 - Last of the Time Lords. (just thought I'd help out)
Also, don't forget the various 'easter eggs' in season 4, i.e the end of 'partners in crime' and at one point on a monitor on 'midnight' just to name a few
geofaxx47 Sure yeah if you're including physical appearances as well as just characters saying her name, oh and in The Poison Sky (Sontaran Part 2) she appears on the tardis tv.
I never hated Martha but it's just that she can't trump the other companions. I loved Rose and clearly the Doctor was still mourning her. Martha was too busy being in love with The doctor and the doctor was too busy being lovesick about rose. He started to mention rose less in season 4 because Donna was a really good mate and she don't take any bullshit. She just sass him back! Martha's season was kinda a season to let the doctor heal from his loss
Whenever they do a 'love' with the Doctor, we all compare it to Rose because that's the only love story with him we've seen. River we were only 'told' he loves her, and then they snogged a lot and had a shotgun wedding. We didn't see it develope or why he would love her. The Master he loves like a very hated brother. And everyone else he is good friends/mentor/brother/sister-like with. So... Yes. Rose is it.
I get your point about 11 and River, that's why I don't really buy their relationship - it's just so seemingly random, just like River herself with her appearances in the show. And not everyone else is a friend, student or sort-of sibling to him. Explain the explosive yet simmering romance that 11 had with Clara. Clearly the best love story for the re-boot.
Zach Brookes Do you mean the crush Clara had on him that was only recipricated with flirting 11 never intended to act upon? And then Clara stopped wanting him because he changed how he looked and we were all told not to think that was shallow? I dunno', Twilight's got something on that.
It’s also wild when you watch the episode with the war doctor(can’t remember its name) and you realise Rose has been ingrained in his brain since the Moment.
Thank you! I have been looking for something like this for the longest time. I just now got into Doctor Who. Even more recently got over Rose leaving long enough to continue. I fell in love with her and her story with the ninth and tenth doctor.
there was one small scene missing, but it's okay it was the one from series 4, "Midnight", where while he's testing the abilities of the creature that possessed that woman he says: "Bang! Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Donna Noble, TARDIS"
Theres atleast 2 in "The Stolen Earth" missing here - when the doctor is talking on the subwave network with everyone he says "eyeryone except Rose" and when Davros intercepts the network and he loses picture the Doctor says "Rose?" thinking it could be her
I hate that Rose is the only companion that gets mentioned this much. The Ponds were a big happy family for the doctor. They were his best friends and they always stood by them. But he almost never mentions them.
@@KHGSMel Yeah I mean he did a great job with the story I just hate the way he handled companions leaving. It's almost as if 11 didn't even care about the Ponds after he found Clara.
that episode, The Family of Blood 3:59 ..it was well thought of but i hate the fact that in that episode the doctor became human (he forgot everything about being a timelord, everything) and fell inlove with a woman whom he saw his future with. he saw himself marrying her, having kids and even getting old. like, when he became a timelord again, he asked her to come with him and be his companion. i mean, come on if she said yes, what about martha? glad she did not. and although i love rose more than anyone, i felt pretty sad for martha in that episode i even cried.
that was 8 minutes of pain I was not ready for. the agony of him, in the runaway bride, lost her seconds before and its there, every second, barely even speak about her and looks like he might breakdown any second. and poor Martha, always seemed to be in her shadow despite the fact she very clearly was obsessed with him. that last scene though, just Donna telling him to tell her himself and he turns and sees her, we don't see her but he does and its beautiful
I like Donna but: " you could hurry up and lose me" was just not nice at all...... I mean come on look at his face, when someone say that with this face you can understand that she is dead ( even if she is not...)
Think about how she felt, though. You're on your way to your wedding and suddenly you're in a spaceship with some guy you don't know. In this situation I wouldn't care too much about "an alien".
I agree that the tenth doctor was unfair to Martha, but also how would you feel if you had lost your best friend/girlfriend? The doctor was angry and upset about roses loss, and you can't help it if you love someone. Martha was just someone to keep him from being lonely, and he can't help it if some of his anger reflects onto her.
When 10th talking about Rose with Martha... It warms that he still remebers her and wants to rall about her At the same time, it hurts, because Martha suffers from unreciprocated love
In the utopia clips Martha looks so pissed when the doctor says Rose... I know how she feels. She just rolls her head like "Oh for fucks sake not that bitch again"
I don't think Martha was that pissy of a person. In Utopia when Jack mentions her, Martha is upset because another guy that she likes is obsessed with Rose too. Then when Jack and Martha discuss her, Martha says oh she was blonde what a surprise, similar to how her mother lost her father to a blonde-the guys ultimate fantasy. I don't think she was pissed either time. First time was upset and second time was being playful/joking around.
Meangrl19 While I agree that Martha wasn't that pissy of a person. You can understand why she would be annoyed: throughout most of the episodes the Doctor is just 'remembering' Rose. It can get a little annoying for the audience and Martha. Its like if you went out with someone and they just kept mentioning their ex over and over saying things like "Oh she would say the right thing" it can just get annoying.
I completely agree with that. I could understand why Martha would get pissy, if she was. For example, she was pissy in Shakespeare Code and she did have a right to be. Like you said about how he told Martha Rose would know exactly what to say and then told Martha she's a novice and basically told her, she wouldn't be of any help like Rose and he'd take her back home tomorrow. He was an ass to her quite a few times. I wouldn't blame Martha if she was pissy with him, I just didn't think the Utopia parts were her being pissy.
Meangrl19 I also agree. She had so much potential as a companion. As for being pissy, now that I think about it, I think she just wanted to have her own adventures only to be put down by the Doctors 'remembrance'. I do see where you are coming from though.
When Donna mentions Rose, I usually smile, but whenever i see the scene where she picks up Rose's top, I always think 'Why is Rose's shirt just lying there in the console room?' Did something that I don't know about go on? And don't give me none of that 'It had just been washed and was being hung up to dry' crap.
Rose is always leaving her crap around when there is a sad scene concerning her. When she was with the 9th doctor and he and Jack thought she died, Jack found her jacket in the same place.
Remember in the ep New Earth she was wearing layers and Cassamdra took the top one off. That was the same top, I believe, she must have grabbed it on her way back to the TARDIS and never put it away
What about in the doomsday episode at the end when she says about the baby and he asks if she's pregnant? Definitely some timey wimey space sex between those two.
In series 4 on the episode Midnight,if you look on the background of the television you can see rose trying to get the doctors attention but fails to get it
Something I’ve noticed is that a lot of people really hate Rose, mostly due to the romantic aspect of her and the Doctor’s relationship. Which sucks for me, because I only fell in love with the show recently, (around the same time the coronapocalypse hit,) and I found her to be an incredibly well thought out character. She relates to the audience enough so that we can empathize with her and see this universe through her eyes, plus, because I wasn’t able to start with Classic Who, I was introduced with Eccleston, and didn’t see anything wrong with the Doctor falling in love. So as I found out after exploring the fandom, that this absolutely adorable relationship that I’d been rooting for, and watching grow, and change, and eventually fall away, was DESPISED by many fans. Then again, I also really like Whittaker, so maybe I’ll just enjoy anything.
I know this is a relatively old comment, but I feel like a lot of people were bothered by Rose because they thought it was unrealistic for the Doctor to fall for a 19-year-old human. Which... I understand. But at the same time, I always liked their relationship. I thought it made sense in context. The Doctor at that point in history was broken, and the pain of having, as he perceived it, destroyed his entire people, weighed heavily on him. Rose and her family made him feel like he had a place to belong, if only for a while. But he also knew that it couldn't last, and so it gave their relationship kind of a poignant twist. Being with her made him long for the one thing he believed he could never have --- a home to return to. While I wouldn't consider myself a HUGE fan of the Eleven era, I always found it kind of fitting that he found Rory and Amy and River. They actually DID become his family and helped to at least somewhat fill a gaping hole in his heart for many years.
i see people talking about how immature Martha was despite the Doctor turning her down romantically and yes he was never obligated to return how she felt, but being someone's rebound sucks and knowing that you just can't measure up to the place someone else has in the heart of someone you'd atleast like to feel like you have a chance with hurts to have to come to terms with but she eventually did and became a pretty badass companion.
It always makes me so sad how little 11 mentions Rose... It's like the 50th anniversary. The one who regrets... and the one who forgets.
Eleven remembers ("I never forget a face") but he had to move on.
... Maybe it's the fact that I can't move on from Rose that makes me want the Doctor to never move on. Donna's the only other companion I've loved as much as Rose (haven't seen the classics yet).

The Doctor is so cute how he mentions Rose, but he can be such a dunce to Martha by doing so! Poor Martha, but his loyalty to Rose makes Doctor Who all the more sweet.
Also, Donna, annoyed at the Doctor: "This friend of yours, just before she left, did she punch you in the face?"
I loved Donna's face when she sees Rose behind the Doctor. : )
"OHHH big mistake, because that name keeps me fighting"
Who can deny that 10th Doctor (Tennant) loved Rose Tyler? All those clips, he loved her!
Yeah and it's sooo wrong!
TheBrester Spencer A 900+ year old Time Lord loving a 19 year old human, nothing wrong with that :P
TheBrester Spencer But why would he love a human who broke down barriers of all parallel universes killing everyone!? Also Rose cried because the human doctor wasn't the same.
Are you serious?
Watch Journey's End, yes i'm dead serious!
HottieJonnyROBLOX
Yeah that´s true but I still think that Rose and ten was the best. But I also think that their love died when ten regenerated into eleven...However that´s what doctor who is about- someone always leaves so another one can arrive :)
9 and Rose were better than 10 and Rose.
He left. Relationship continues with a new 10
11 helped rose with her homework, how sweet, and sad
"And... we where together..."
GOSH DOCTOR!!!! Gah, can you kill my feels even more.... *Cries...*
1:20 the entire song was basically describing The Doctor and Rose.
Fun fact: That song was specifically written for that scene!
But you took me in, you stole my heart, I cannot roam no more,
Because love it stays within me, it does not wash up on a shore
...he really did love her
2:40 If you pay attention, when Martha and the 10th are laying down, Martha thinks about kissing him, but the second he mentions Rose, she pulls back slightly, indicating that she lost her chance and that she lost completely to Rose.
"Give me someone I like" 7:52 - this is heartbreaking, to think that the Doctor doesn't like himself :-(
StillJustDreaming Kind of sad the way the TARDIS tried to make up for it too.
But I agree, she was good in season 3, but her in season four was quite terrible to say the least.
pushing everyone away is a very human reaction
6:43 that face. God Tennant is great. You can just see what he's thinking. But he can't be sure. The way he interrogates Donna after she mentions the 'Woman' being blonde.
6:53 and then the way his face changes. It's just.... great.
"Well you took me in, you stole my heart, i cannot roam no more-"
he was thinking about rose as those lyrics played
imma go cry now
1:06 That is an important piece of dialogue there, when he reflects on when he first spent Christmas with the Tylers (and Mickey)...
He was so in love with Rose it breaks my heart
Rose is my favourite, but I love Donna too. She was always so kind and compassionate. It's what I loved most about her and Rose.
Gone but never forgotten.
I seen Season 2 SO many times and I still sob uncontrollably when I watch Doomsday...;_; I will never get over it.
She was just..... different.
Can you point some of them out ?
I think I missed them.
The Feels. They're running like a River now.
I'm only 1 minute in and I'm tearing up!
I love it when he calls Donna brilliant T_T it's so cute, she feels so special
Every time I see that scene when they are reunited and Rose's theme plays I cry.
"Her name was Rose"
Anyone else feel like 10 was being unfair to Martha?
hahahaha yes, a little. I liked that when she prefer to stay home she explained why and all that. "Ever heard the word 'rebound'"? xD
Paulina Macias Martha is one of the most underrated companions in the entire show.
That's why I think his reaction to Martha is definitely not nice, but pretty understandable, no matter how good Martha was as a companion
my heart will forever break for Martha
6:50 always gives me chills...
Me to
I thought Rose and the Doctor-Donna would be in the Day of the doctor, it would have been a great way to bring them back.
Also in "The Lodger" when The Doctor had the memory share thing no other companions were shown only Rose all of the doctors and Amy at the end.
You know a sad thing is even if the doctor loved her she would probably never have loved the doctor because of the regenerations
The references to Rose in Matt Smith's era of Doctor Who are the definition of half-assed!
6:53 You can see the sheer TERROR on 10’s face when Donna gives him Rose’s message
The way he smiled when donna said "rose is coming back.. thats a good thing right" i wanna cry 😭🩷
Ok so Rose is stuck in a parallel universe and The Doctor can't be with her but is his ultimate goal to fix the walls of the universe so he can get back to her?
No he doesn't plan on looking for her, Rose is living her own life with Doc 10.2 in the parallel universe now :(
there was also the fires of pompeii, she is returning, and then in partners in crimes, what about rose then in midnight, i had friend who was lost in the parallel universe.....but great video thanks for making it ive been trying to find something like this, i just love rose, shes my favourite companion.
*smacks head repeatedly against wall* ALL MY FEELS!
I feel so bad for him did you see his reaction he just lost his girl and he didn't need to be reminded of it
Martha/Freema is absolutey bloody lovely. Stat.
nice compilation, but you missed one I can think of: The Master says "You had companions who could absorb the time vortex" in 3x13 - Last of the Time Lords.
(just thought I'd help out)
***** well remembered my friend!
Also, don't forget the various 'easter eggs' in season 4, i.e the end of 'partners in crime' and at one point on a monitor on 'midnight' just to name a few
geofaxx47 Sure yeah if you're including physical appearances as well as just characters saying her name, oh and in The Poison Sky (Sontaran Part 2) she appears on the tardis tv.
geofaxx47 Yeah I saw all of em too in that epi and others and I would start yelling at the Doctor to flipping turn around.... lol
Guys, read the description!
I want rose back
I never hated Martha but it's just that she can't trump the other companions.
So... Yes. Rose is it.
Gosh, it's depressing isn't it?
Oh now I miss her :(
It’s also wild when you watch the episode with the war doctor(can’t remember its name) and you realise Rose has been ingrained in his brain since the Moment.
Thank you! I have been looking for something like this for the longest time. I just now got into Doctor Who. Even more recently got over Rose leaving long enough to continue. I fell in love with her and her story with the ninth and tenth doctor.
I need several years to be able to watch doomsday without crying. The bay scene is just too painful. It traumatized me lol
I love Martha to glad to see someone else does 😌
there was one small scene missing, but it's okay
it was the one from series 4, "Midnight", where while he's testing the abilities of the creature that possessed that woman he says: "Bang! Rose Tyler, Martha Jones, Donna Noble, TARDIS"
Theres atleast 2 in "The Stolen Earth" missing here - when the doctor is talking on the subwave network with everyone he says "eyeryone except Rose" and when Davros intercepts the network and he loses picture the Doctor says "Rose?" thinking it could be her
She was in The Stolen Earth, so including anything from that episode in this video would be like putting something from Doomsday in it.
I hate that Rose is the only companion that gets mentioned this much. The Ponds were a big happy family for the doctor. They were his best friends and they always stood by them. But he almost never mentions them.
that's definitely on the producer. moffat mentioned former companions much less frequently than davies did.
@@KHGSMel Yeah I mean he did a great job with the story I just hate the way he handled companions leaving. It's almost as if 11 didn't even care about the Ponds after he found Clara.
Because The Doctor loved Rose and out of all of them she had the biggest impact on him
Captain Jack's teary-eyed "Oh, YES!!" always gets me.
I have to laugh at Martha cos she kept dropping big hints and the doctor always shot her down. If I was her I would of given up on the second attempt
that episode, The Family of Blood 3:59 ..it was well thought of but i hate the fact that in that episode the doctor became human (he forgot everything about being a timelord, everything) and fell inlove with a woman whom he saw his future with. he saw himself marrying her, having kids and even getting old. like, when he became a timelord again, he asked her to come with him and be his companion. i mean, come on if she said yes, what about martha? glad she did not. and although i love rose more than anyone, i felt pretty sad for martha in that episode i even cried.
I think he felt guilty about giving her hope, that they could live happily together so he felt obligated to ask her to come with him if nothing else.
that was 8 minutes of pain I was not ready for. the agony of him, in the runaway bride, lost her seconds before and its there, every second, barely even speak about her and looks like he might breakdown any second. and poor Martha, always seemed to be in her shadow despite the fact she very clearly was obsessed with him. that last scene though, just Donna telling him to tell her himself and he turns and sees her, we don't see her but he does and its beautiful
The way he reacts when she’s brought up seems like he was traumatized. Like he’s on the verge of tears.
Do you understand how much I cry when I see this
You are brilliant. I love this video.
Let's be honest. Donna was a bit of a b**** when we first met her.
JACK WENT BACK IN TIME TO WATCH HER GROW UP DAM THATS SAD OMG
I agree that the tenth doctor was unfair to Martha, but also how would you feel if you had lost your best friend/girlfriend? The doctor was angry and upset about roses loss, and you can't help it if you love someone. Martha was just someone to keep him from being lonely, and he can't help it if some of his anger reflects onto her.
What about the episode Fires Of Pompeii where whats-his-face says 'doctor, she is returning!'
OH GOD! I totally forgot that! Thank you!
***** No Prob!
Ummmmm no he wasn't. The bloke I'm referring to is Philip Davis who played 'Lucius'. Peter Capaldi portrayed a man named 'Caecilius'.
I wanted to cry. Stupid feels. He will never forget her, i'm sure. Rose Tyler come back! :c
When 10th talking about Rose with Martha...
It warms that he still remebers her and wants to rall about her
At the same time, it hurts, because Martha suffers from unreciprocated love
6:51 lol The Doctors face just screams out "FUUUUUUUCCCCCKKKKKKKKKK MEEEEEEEEEE!!!"
Honestly, nothing I learned about Martha ever gave me the impression that she was the kind of person that would fall in love with the Doctor.
They definitely had sex. Don't even try to convince me otherwise.
Steve moffat confirmed that the 11th doctor still loved after all that time apart
I really want the 13th doctor to mention Rose again
In series 4 on the episode Midnight,if you look on the background of the television you can see rose trying to get the doctors attention but fails to get it
Never noticed 11 referencing Rose. Time for a rewatch. XD
You ever just look at the tears in his eyes when he says she's so alive and decide to eat glass
love this video, love the two of them
i see people talking about how immature Martha was despite the Doctor turning her down romantically and yes he was never obligated to return how she felt, but being someone's rebound sucks and knowing that you just can't measure up to the place someone else has in the heart of someone you'd atleast like to feel like you have a chance with hurts to have to come to terms with but she eventually did and became a pretty badass companion.
