The weirdest thing is if everyone is made up of wool living in a wool castle would be the same as a flesh castle
I would buy that game!!
well, we're also made up of atoms and so are castles
Wouldn't it just be hair?
@@LiamDePaux Somehow that just sounds worse. 🤣
How's that different than a leather tent? You can actually buy those still.
Think that every "kid-friendly" game has to have something inappropriate in them
Pray to dababy
@@KanyeWestHashi no. Never do that.
Life man... It's pretty inappropriate.
My take away from this video is Japan is just screwed up and we need to stop giving them money
@@KanyeWestHashi LESGOOOOO
If you knock someone out for more then just a few seconds, you probably gave them a massive head trauma
Pray to dababy
If only superheroes actually existed. Then people who want to be criminals might think more before committing a crime. They’d ask themselves “Is this really worth doing when I’m just gonna rack up an expensive medical bill if a superhero gets involved?”.
@@Gamer88334 Every 1st world nation has universal healthcare except Murica so that only applies to them, and ya it would likely cost them millions to repair their bodies after insurance dumps them lol
Anyone who loses consciousness for even a split second has a concussion, but yeah, Hollywood and games makes it appear as if you can just knock people out for hours on end and they're fine. If someone was knocked out for hours, you basically put them into a coma. They are NOT fine.
@@nickllama5296 that's not necessarily true. People can lose consciousness from lots of things outside of brain trauma
Game fact about Katamari... if you work too slow and don't get more stuff stuck on top of people and animals, to stick them down, they actually can wiggle free and get away.
It's like Falcon pronounces certain names wrong on purpose to annoy people.
clearly it works judging by the comments.
Common trick you get like 2x the comments trying to to correct you. How do people still fall for it lol
@@Ray33416
That's true.
@@Ray33416 That is incorrect, it's 5x the - dammit!
I absolutely would love it if Falcon is just purposefully mispronouncing these names and the poor sods on the comments are none the wiser.
For the sasquatches in RDR, if you loot them, you get parts and if you read the description, they're pretty grim. I believe the description for the eye is "the window to a misunderstood soul"
Katamari is actually a shockingly accurate metaphor. The universe doesn't waste anything and no new matter has been created since it began. We're all, each of us, made up of the same bits as stars and vice versa. It's kind of a poetic metaphore for existence. If you forget the whole rolled into a ball against your will bit, anyway.
I always just saw it as a weed metaphor. The more you roll, the higher you get.
that's nowhere near as messed up as finding out that the bricks in super Mario are actually the populous of the toad Kingdom
That's so sad D:
@@Naemen *countinues to smash some more*

Damn it man 😂😂
Two things about the Bloodborne entry: we aren't looking for the "Scourge of Beasts" but rather "Pale blood" something that will supposedly cure all ills and make everything right. It turns out to be just another Old One, the Moon Presence to be exact. Also, Lovecraftian entities and Cthulhu are neither evil or good... They're how you describe the things in Bloodborne. They are so unknowable and beyond comprehension, that their sense of morality is utterly alien to us, if they even have one. Like the ones in BB, some of the stories have them helping us but they don't even know or even understand if they're not... Like a child taking a fish out of water because they think it's drowning
The Lovecraftian Elder Gods are more or less oblivious to us in much of Lovecraft's writings. They don't have much care one way or another towards us because to them we are insignificant. Much like the Bloodborne creatures, they really only react when provoked.
I think it is the Elder Gods that do have some knowledge of us puny mortals for they send representatives from the past to our present to inhabit one of us in a story (think it's Shadows out of time? can't remember) when an archaeologist has dreams about a lost city in the desert of Australia and monoliths an ancient evil caged up under basalt bricks and there's some time that he can't recall only to find out that there was a space of a month or so when something had taken over his body and used it to research everything about his time while his consciousness was in another body that of an elder god with a pyriamid-like body and an orb for a head (just going by memory so can't be sure) and he met others from other times. Anyways they do have some knowledge about us is what I'm saying they just think of us as curiosities.
Are they fingers because of all the fingers that have been snapped/bit off by the chest? Greedy hands? Haha
That actually makes sense
That’s what I had thought too 😂
I think it's Velcro and people just get stuck :)
Exactly what I'm thinking

In bloodborne while it's true that some of the bosses aren't bad or purely evil Rom the vacuous spider wasnt good by any means. She was hiding the true state of world from everyone and that the blood moon has risen
Maybe she was hiding it cos humans being won't be able to handle the truth and thus, go apeshit crazy.
Isn't Rom a transformed Human Baby?
@@ultimatekayozz no. If I remember right she was a female scholar from bergenwerth
@@revolt4150
But why then does Rome act like a scared toddler at the beginning of the fight? A Byrgenwerth scholar as source material for Rom would be a seasoned person who would defend herself immediately?
@@ultimatekayozz I believe I heard somewhere that the original name for Rom actually translates more closely to Rom the Idiot Spider. So she's sort of a failed experiment that had it's uses.
I imagine Falcon waking up in the day and saying "Good morning ...?" Dude always talk asking.
Lmaoooo
I remember playing one of the Arkham games and Batman literally took the door off of a car and slammed it down on the throat of one of the goons he was fighting and the game labeled it as "nonlethal" like hell it is lol, you ain't getting up from that one fam😂😂😂
Or in Arkham Knight, the Batmobile uses "non-lethal" rounds but it is still essentially firing rather large rubber bullets at the heads of thugs out of basically mini-guns and auto-cannons with enough force to instantly incapacitate them.
The most messed up thing I did was turning the peaceful and sad bigfoot from undead nightmare into red mist with the explosive rifle
Well, at least the Bigfoot didn't feel a thing
Pray to dababy
I used a good ol fashioned Molotov but I guess there's two kinds of people...
I did it with the rope and drag him with my unicorn until he died
I didn't even know Bigfoot was in there xD
head to the studio in origami king after he goes boom and take a photo. his ghost shows up with you
Am i evil for liking batman's finishing moves lol !
Yes now pray to dababy
No pray to shrek
No, I'd love to see batman finish
I believe everytime batman put someone to sleep it was non consensual
No you're not. You're enjoying a game.
Ah, Gameranx. My favorite YT channel to watch while shitting. Thanks for being there for me for so many years, guys!
Spending so much time on UA-cam while on the shitter until my legs turn numb is my favorite past time activity.
@@remdolf07 😂😂😂
Im shitting while i read this and thats prettt accurate
There are a couple simple ways to tell which chests are mimics in all the Souls games. The first and most obvious would be to attack every chest you see, then run out of range if it shows a health bar. Other than that, one can always wait for a bit to see if the "chest" is breathing, and if it has a chain, it'll be trailing towards the player, rather than coiled up. And you don't even have to fight them to get their loot, just toss a Lloyd's Talisman at them and they'll fall asleep, letting you claim whatever they're holding or get an easy hit in.
The bob-omb cutscene hit me in the feels when i played. Did not see that coming at all
i know right. And all the jokes they made about it before it happened made super clear that he's not gonna go all suicide bomber. I couldn't believe my eyes when it happened lmao.
I think the whole story of Shadow of the Colossus should've been included in this list
But everyone is talking about that tho?
I agree . Shadow of the colossus is pretty messed up. They are mostly peaceful and you just come in and slaughter them all. Makes you feel bad every time you defeat one
@@Phil_is_my_hero86 especially since you have to slaughter 10 of them to save one person.
@@spackle42 it's actually 14 I believe
@@Phil_is_my_hero86 yea but they are monsters
in Resident Evil remaster the Backstory of the little girl (Lisa )who turned to a monster is pretty tragic and messed up

It's my favourite RE game
Mostly because of the atmosphere, puzzles and Lisa's backstory
Idk why but that game just hits different
These videos are always so relaxing to have while grinding.

How to stay sober: Have a shot everytime Falcon doesn't mention Dark Souls
And Bloodborne.
As someone who beat Dark Souls, and enjoyed it I am so tired of hearing about it all the time. There are so many other good difficult games out there
@@the-engneer examples?
@@TawJev Cuphead, Enter The Gungeon, Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden, Resident Evil
That's just off the top of my head. I can give more examples
@@the-engneer but every game has its own particular style of difficulty; some are just "broken". Dark Souls is fair and has a good gameplay.
Didn’t Arthur Morgen have a conversation with that Sasquatch outside it’s cave? So that means you know his fate years before it actually happens.
That was a giant, not a sasquatch.
@@DiZphunx plus we never see him. And it could be gigantism for all we know. But we see aliens in rdr2 so what do I know? Lol it’s a rockstar game.
in minecraft, when you really think about, the player must have done some terrible stuff to have creepers happily murder themselves just to injure you a little.
The way I see it creepers are walking plants that desire to spread their seeds into fertile ground but they can only grow in the flesh of living creatures so they walk up to the player and explode to embed their seeds in them. Though I guess that doesn’t explain why they only do it to the player and why , if you manage to survive a creeper blast , you don’t actually get a creeper growing out of you.
The Superior Spiderman comic explained that Parker literally always pulls his punches - Even against superpowered enemies. Octavius took over his body and immediately killed somebody because he didn't know to pull the punch.
It’s a little more messed up that you can eradicate the bison in rdr 1, just because they’re real, there’s even an “achievement” for it.
Going back to Mario 64, theirs a war going on between the pink bombomb’s and the black bombomb’s
Fun Fact: That head exploding scene in Scanners was so hard to film and kept going through ideas and they couldn't make the head explode right so they settled on both barrels of a double barrel shotgun with 2 rounds of Kosher rock salt... David Cronenberg is a Canadian national treasure...
I found spidey's above stealth take downs particularly vicious
I always thought a neat moment in Bloodborne would be walking into a dark room with an item, then when you pick it up an Old Ones shifts, as if it was handing you the item., then it observes you silently. Like I child would feed a small insect.
Vicious
“Who y’all talking bout? Batman?! Man, somebody’s gotta do something about him!”
Imagine what a bomb going off inside someone would look like
*metal gear solid 3 has entered the chat*
In gta V when your forced to torture someone even tho hes innocent is one of the most messed up parts of any games I've played
and we aren't even given a choice
that's one of the many reasons why I hate Trevor
he knew the guy was trying to cooperate and still didn't mind torturing him for information he was already willing to give, then he takes the guy to the airport, ordering him to leave the country and telling him he lost the right to see his family and shit... i really hate Trevor, every other character is a psycho but Trevor is simply a sadist :/
@@j.l.6511 I still like trevor cause if you pay attention to alot of his convos and do his side missions you get a better understanding of his character but that mission for sure should've given us a choice or something
“Unico in the Island of Magic” was the comparison you were looking for.
_Kirby_ is basically the _Ed Gein_ of the Nintendoverse since he eats everyone and wears them afterwards.
Ah Bloodborne, I was happy we were able to ascend.
How about the coins in the brick from NES Mario? According to the lore book, the citizen of the land got turned into bricks. So NES Mario and Luigi are not only killing people, they are also robbing them.
...Ok. Welp. Worse or not, the Nightmare MUST be ended somehow, someway, to save Yharnam. Everything was going to shit anyway, so at least by hunting down the source, any scant survivors will, y'know, SURVIVE. The Old Ones meddled out of sympathy without understanding that they hurt people more for that 'help'
Falcon.. is it wierd that your voice puts me at ease?
I don't think so. I feel the same.
Knowing that your Bob-omb partner sacrifices themself is really messed up. The two other bomb partners use explosion as attacks and survive all the time. That's really messed up.
Love you Gameranx
Katamari Damacy is amazing. It even had a function where if it glitched at all the game would know, it respawned you and the king apologised for it.
FALCON!!! Your voice makes my day!!! Thank you !
POV : Looking to see MW2 “No Russian” Mission on this list 🕺🏽
"that nobody talks about"
Bobby is even worse when you realize he shows as a ghost in the pictures you can go take at shogun studios after.
... Oh.
Yup sometimes a game just have you like "the fukk was that" then you just keep playing
It's hard to pump out so much gaming content, and done so well. Love yall, Gameranx team!
"Why are they like that?". Dude that had me laughing so hard.
Robin called out Batman on Injustice 2. He actually told Batman that he was making traumatic brain injuries to the henge men.
Henchmen
Um, ACTUALLY... the "dodongo hates smoke" clue is a hint that (in the original zelda) if you can get a dodongo to walk into the smoke from an exploding bomb, then it becomes stunned and you can just finish it off with a single sword swipe. So using 1 bomb to take it out instead of 3. Useful in levels where there are 3 dodongo in a room, otherwise requiring 9 bombs total.
12:50 what about the bob-omb companions from the first two paper Mario games? They seem to explode and just get launched up.
This video represents the best version of overthinking.
As a kid I used to think it was so wrong in Pokémon catching creatures against their will, keeping them in a tiny ball and making them fight other captive Pokémon
oh, and remember, most of the protagonists are VERY young children. not even TEENAGERS!
the girl in AC Odyssey who made friends out of clay.. how has NO ONE ever told her to interact with people, until Kassandra/Alexios?
the Batman takedowns is all anyone ever talks about when talking about him.
Yea, i remeber when i was still 10 my mom always mad at me when im playing viollence game in ps2 and told me to play another more "friendly" game. Then i found katamari and everytime she mad at me, i changed my game to katamari and saw her confused for the entire game. It is rated E and yet you play as giant ball rolling everything in yourpath
In tlou2, when Ellie tells Dina that she made Nora talk. What's messed up is that it's never clear if this is true, or if Ellie lied to Dina to keep her from getting cold feet. The latter is normally instantly shot down, but there are quite a few factors that support it. That Abby at the time was in the same hospital dealing with the Rat King, the idea that Ellie's devestation could be from torturing someone and getting nothing from it, the fact that Owen was marked as AWOL, and he was living in that aquarium for years, so it makes sense for other WLF members to talk about it.
Also, in Ghost of Tsushima, in Masako's final tale, you learn what got her sister, Hana, to betray her family and cause more loss than they already had in the Komoda Beach battle. While I still think Hana went way too far, it's quite messed up to be in her shoes. The man she loved chose her sister over her, and the husband she's given is a disgusting intolerable drunk. Her anger was very understandable.
Holy crap! A Scanners reference?! Didn't think I'd hear anything on THOSE movies ever lol. Quite an obscure reference, but good comparison
Bobby! That was the saddest moment I've ever experienced in a game. I definitely cried a little and not afraid to say it
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I legit was sad. Was not expecting it.
I literally forgot i played yoshis woolly world, that was fun.
If you ever checked out this game called the Suffering. Pretty dark and messed up storyline
Mario is kinda evil. The book says that the people of mushroom kingdom were turned to bricks and Mario goes around breaking bricks all over the place. Killing the people he should be saving ... so the whole Bob-omb thing doesn't surprise me
Glad more people remember Katamari
Its a classic
Pray to dababy
One of my all time favorites.
Who doesn't know about Katamari?
I don't know bombomb. I never met him. Why am I so sad? 😭
The Arkham game actually mentions this. Some of the baddies will comment casually what injuries they sustained the last time they encountered the Batman. Mostly broken bones.
Mythbusters made a super hero punch simulator... And yeah, a single punch from someone super strong would just basically explode your brain inside your skull and give you massive skull and cervical fractures, as well as spinal damage.
yo Gameranx dark theme? The strong white transition numbers kinda hurt at night
Go to sleep.
I talk about the bigfoot thing all the time lol "no, you eat babies!"

When I found out all the Mushroom people had been turned into all the blocks in Super Mario bros., you rethink breaking them.
The evil within 2 someone using a little girl to create a hive mind is all kinds of messed up.
well to be fair, it was called The Evil Within. Kinda knew what we were getting into going into that one.
Leisure Larry weirds me out at times
That babomb headstone was actually really pretty! Nice work 👏
That Bigfoot mission made my wife cry. She was so mad at me. Dude was crying and shit, it was dark

I always hold out hope for gameranx because BYB and Friday news is good, but these lists are bordering on watchmojo
Dark Souls Fun Fact: The "Mimic" Chest was first seen in Maximo: Ghost to Glory.
That's way off. They were first seen in Dungeons and Dragons in 1974. The 1st video game to include them was the original Ultima in 1980.
Fun fact: You’re wrong
Even if this were true, I don't think it would be considered a Dark Souls fact specifically.
The white phosphorous killstreak in Modern Warfare definitely comes to mind.
Well. The bob-omb thing can vary from game to game. I don't remember where I read it but supposedly every single Mario Game isn't real. Not in the videogame sense that it isn't real, but that, canonically, games are supposed to be fiction. Super Mario Bros 3 is a theater play, Mario 64 is some sort of documentary, Mario Odissey is a reality show, etc, etc.
In one paper Mario we have a female bob-omb and she is alright after blowing up so... yeah. Rules vary from the "play"
Are we done with Finding ways to include Cyber Punk.
cant fit them in this video, noone shuts up about it.
One of the most messed up moment comes in Spec Ops: The Line, when you start understanding that you're not a hero, nor a villain. The world is not binary. It's shades of Grey, millions of it.
Everyone hypes it up, its litteraly a boring shooter with a pretentious "grey area". There, I said it.
That’s something everyone knows about and talks about.
So, one could say it's....
Fifty Shades of Grey?
There is one time I feel like they addressed Batman and traumatic brain injury. Injustice 2 Batman brutally beats a man unconscious and Damien Wayne as Robin comments and say something to the effect of, "So killing is not okay with you, but traumatic brain injury is just fine?"
Bruh nintendo literally made the bob-omb die because they arbitrarily wanted a character to die. Like we not gonna talk about how in the previous games bob-ombs explode all the time with no consequence? I mean you have partners in both the previous games that are bob-ombs and they explode. Not to mention the bob-ombs survive in little parachutes after firing the bomb cannon that launches you to the moon in ttyd. It's like they just made him die because they felt like they wanted something sad to hsppen in the game, even though it makes no sense whatsoever.
I didn't expect a Paper Mario to make me cry. It did.
I saw a video before going into detail about batman. Apparently the one thing that would definitely straight up kill the inmates is the gargoyle hang.
Dropping an innate by the feet on a normal rope directly down will immediately snap both of their ankles. Along side the sudden drop in G FORCE you're going to wind up giving them a concussion if you're lucky. All the blood will rush to their head and they will die within 10 minutes of hanging from there.
I am aware of how the world of Splatoon has basically all of humanity being wiped out because of the Great Flood but the same thing has happened in other games like Nier where it seems like it's more of a mystery rather than a "matter of fact" sort of thing. It seems like the Inklings and Octolings treated us like dinosaurs in their time and I don't know if I feel comfortable with that. As far as what happened to Bobby in Paper Mario: The Origami King, we all just agreed that we're not going to talk about it and just pretend that Bobby is still around in that game.
I see where Naughty Dog got the inspiration for the Rat King in The Last Of Us 2 now.......Katamari!! 😜
The endless Reddit-tier, corporate 'fellow kids' memes... they're killing my soul.
Pray to dababy
Nahhh nanananana Na Na na na na Na Na Na nahhhh
I remember mimics also from Dungeon siege II, only I dont know, where it was first
The title in this video made me think it was about games that nobody talks about and here's 10 messed up moments from them.
In shadow of the colossus, you're killing creatures probably tens of thousands of years old - basically gods - to save ONE GIRL As soon as my friends showed me this game I went on a horrified rant, comparing it to the change in human thinking from the ancient world to the renaissance.
Yeah, that's why I haven't played it even though I bought it.
been a big fan of yall for a long time keep up te good work and thanks for the content!
I havent heard this background music since i made a youtube video back in 2010 using it from the choice of free music you could add by youtube what a throwback
I don't know about the Bloodborne one.
That's kinda like saying "banks that blocked people from buying GameStop stocks in order to protect their master's, aren't really bad guys"
Rom the vacuous spider is literally getting fat on a world that feeds on humanity. He's even presented as a barrier that keeps you down and holds them up.
6:10 there is a reason why legaleagle classified his violence as deadly
Heres a funny thing I found out about killing the sasquatch by accident, I intentionally threw an axe at his head and instead of dying like I thought he would, instead he stands up and intends to follow you.
Because you mentioned RDR:
In RDR2 there is a quest to kill all Carolina parrots.
If you kill 200 of them, they won’t appear again and are extinct.
The thing is that there is no reward or anything. It‘s not even a real quest, it‘s one of those "tasks" you see when pressing left on the D-pad.
No extra dialogue, no medal, no nothing. The quest just disappears and you‘ve eradicated a species.
Well, every time Mario breaks bricks he's killing people, too. In the game's original instruction manual, it states that King Koopa(Bowser) casted a spell on the people of the Mushroom Kingdom, turning them into everyday objects, including all the breakable bricks you see. So yeah, Mario games have always been messed up. And don't even get me started on how the whole thing is really some Alice In Wonderland-styled LSD hallucination, brought on by the Amanita mushrooms Mario scarfs down every time he finds one.
The whole Katimari series can basically be likened to a crazy fever dream after taking a family pack of acid and melting down coke and morphine in the same needle and injecting it into your jugular, I have no experience with something along those lines, but if I had to guess, you'd come out with the Katimari series
The Sunken Scrolls aren't even the beginning of how messed up Splatoon can be. The Octo Expansion DLC is proof of that.
