I live at Loch Lomond so it was lovely to see a tiny glimpse of it here, though the road along part of it is a little bit narrow!! I did this sleeper train almost 20 years ago, but I was in a seat, not sure I could do that these days! Our food is quite unfairly judged. Yes we do have bad food here, but we also have LOTS of amazing food! Your first station in the dark in the morning was my regular train station for work for a few years and is called Singer after the famous Singer sewing machines (there was a huge factory there for years). The middle of nowhere station is called Crianlarich and I've been stranded there a couple of times! 😂 The cracker was a tattie scone - a type of potato cake (I love them when they're fried). The salty ham was a Lorne sausage. Courrour station is the most remote station in the UK and has featured in a few movies. I would love to get off the train there and go explore around Corrour! I really want to know what you thought of haggis!!
I'm going to loch Lomond for a wedding later in the year. Do you know the best way to get there for someone whose body is not that great? I was hoping I could take London city airport to Glasgow and then a bus but then I realised it doesn't go there. My budget was below 200 one way as I'm going Newcastle after... Well I wanted to until getting to this wedding was having me have to take out a mortgage !! 😅
@@selorm It would depend on the venue as the loch is pretty big with a few different villages that have venues, but Balloch is connected by train to Glasgow and there's a taxi rank next to the station, if that helps 🙂 If you're happy to let me know which venue it is I can help you figure out the best way to get there from Glasgow

Yes, try the luxury of Third Class a/c carriages in India. The best in the world! Great for a very long journey like from Kolkata to Delhi. Vendors stop by to sell you stuff from time to time. You get to choose two different cultural type toilets!! I bet you can't even find that on this train!! India is the best!
The red leaves were pickled cabbage. Usually served with stew/casserole but I guess meat is ok too. The nasty looking "cracker" was a potato 'scone', called different things throughout the uk but it's basically mashed potato, salt and flour mixed then flattened out and cooked on a griddle/flat plate. Love mine fried (after griddling) in bacon fat or grilled in a toaster and soaked with salted butter.
Traffic cones on the head of statues has become quite common in Glasgow. They get removed and someone puts another back on. It’s become a bit of a tradition. Nice you went to Glasgow since it’s often avoided. It’s a pity you didn’t spend any time in Fort William since it’s very picturesque.

Здравствуй дорогой друг. Спасибо тебе за чудесное видео ❤💋
Вы в курсе откуда этот блогер?
I visited Edinburgh last summer, and I was considering the Caledonian Sleeper to get to London. Thanks for posting this!
Love your videos! This one made me a little sad. It really highlights how little care is given to customers in the UK compared to Japan. The state of the food, the cold shower, the squeaky doors, the prison toilet!! C tier toilet is kind 😅 no wave goodbye on the station! The breakfast 🙈 if you ever return to the UK, drop me a message, would be happy to show you some great places and introduce you to some fantastic British food! Hope you enjoyed your trip.
Thank you for the tour. The breakfast and dinner looked delicious, Minus the black pudding. Hope you enjoyed the experience. 😊😃👍🏾
The random "Scott McTominay" subtitle killed me 😭. Never thought I'd see you in the city I live and work in, hope you enjoyed Glasgow!
So impressed you came to England and Scotland, next time try North Wales and northern island
You had a great journey 😊
I love the way you respect everyone privacy and narrate your videos. Truly inspired. Love from India. Wish to see you travel India. #welcometoindia
The Scottish mouse is a grey squirrel.😊
Ich danke dir sehr! So konnte ich auch ein bisschen von Schottland sehen. Ich konnte gar nicht aufhören zuzusehen!!
I must admit that I giggled at the "St Pancreas" subtitle at 0:27
I wondered whether anyone would notice it! I was laughing my head off!
Nice video! Thank you for creating it and sharing it. Your “night has dawned” comment was hilarious 🤣!
Thoroughly enjoyable as always and great to have you back with us in Britain!
Very good video!
Excellent sense of humour.
Greetings from Portugal 🇵🇹🇯🇵!
Estou amando esse vídeo. Thank you very much Solo san 🦆💖
I LOVE your travel channel the BEST, because you are not constantly Talking. You just let me ENJOY in PEACE!!!
Great trip. My man going from England to Scotland just to find an "unique" food. Overall nice room for yourself.
スコットランドの景色といえば、メンデルスゾーンの交響曲第3番ですよね。まさにあの哀愁漂う感じというかスケールの大きい印象が感じられて、とてもいい動画でした🎥
Great video 👍The British and Scottish food actually make me .....laugh😂😂
It's really fun to get your perspective on food.
