This video is like hidden gems on UA-cam. Thank you so much, Andrew! Your tutorial always accompanied me growing up from amateur to professional photographer. Now, what I learnt from you gave me confidence. Warm greetings from Bali.
I follow you and I follow others. You are one of the best who explains photography in simple language. I most likely will enroll in your courses. I like the idea of shooting in daylight when the sun is high with only a flash. The reason being is that most people will want to photograph in these conditions. I wish you have highlighted the position of the flash. Is it facing directly on the subject ?. I Also I wished you highlighted why you choose manual vs TTL. Why no compensation, etc.
Excellent information on daylight, headlight shoot with simple technique. Great.
this video what iam searching, thank you.
2:23 in my humble opinion, flash compensated to - 2/3 is even better!
Every Time i learn from your videos thanks for making such an amazing content for us. Keep it up good work
Thank you! Love your videos
Great vid.
You asked for comments on content... Is there any chance of doing something with compact cameras that we tend to carry around with us?
Good Vid. I like the tip of switching the camera/flash to aviod the shadows.👍
Great video again Andrew and another great model too. Really helpful as Im doing more fashion photography. Thank you Andrew and Valenice. Just goes to show what you can do with so little...
Hey Vee Jay, Glad this video helped you in your photography journey. What gear do you use? -Tarshan (Beyond Photography)
Please make a tutorial for using flash in apperture priority mode emphasising ambient light.

1.)Why should we choose f1.8 prime lens over f1.4 prime lens vice versa..
2.) How to compensate a few fstop difference on prime lenses using iso, shutter speed or flash.
In terms of practicality, cost to actual usage, fstop difference,
I believe this is a good topic for a lot of beginners..
I hope you noticed this..thanks!
Another easy way to shoot with a flash. Thank you sensei Andrew.

Please Sir can you explain about the zoom on Flash...how and what's the Use...
3:38 - 20 meters??? I thought that sounded crazy, and then I see she's maybe 5 meters.
That "MIRI" sculpture is pretty cool. Half of those scenes look straight out of a castaway sailors movie.
Very good tip about flipping the flash to avoid those certain shadows.
Honestly, the first thing to getting a beautiful photoshoot is having a beautiful model. You could have shot this girl with my first digital 1-megapixel Kodak camera, and still gotten great photos. Grainy as a wheat field, but beautiful.
Hi Miley. Love your cool comments 😍. Thank youuuuu.

Looking Good bro
The D7500 takes some nice shots and is a capable camera. I currently carry a D7200 as my DX body. It's wonderful. Learn the basics and you can take good pics with nearly anything.
And I learned a whole lot by watching Andrew. Thank you for that.
That is one great model u got there cheesewheel 😍😍😍 True to that, with basic u can definitely explore n try out new things ✅ ✅ ✅
Channel admin Farah N 😉 😉 😉
Exactly, it's not the gear, it's always the photographer. How's your experience using a D7200 so far? -Tarshan (Beyond Photography)
Great video again... I enjoyed very much because I have a D7500 too and I know perfectly what can this camera do. Thanks for share again your knowledge... Regards from Spain

Hi Andrew. @ 6:14, did you change anything else, because, flash compensation for itself will not make any difference to the clouds or background. Where I am wrong?
Let me watch and see 🥰😍will come
Back to you. And thank u for ur support ❤️
High speed sincro?
At 1/8000s, are you using HSS?
Hi Yung, Yes, i was using HSS
That spot isn't so bad. Over here, you cant get a view like that. We have a bad homeless problem. You cover your face to sneeze, next thing you know all your gear is gone. 😝 I'm moving next door to Andrew 🙏😂

Don't understand how you can use flash at such high shutter speeds thought it was only usable up to 250th of a second
I think he’s using HSS but he doesn’t tell us
