For E-Learning Courses :
- Courses are sold separately on a course title basis. These are mostly for those who are interested in a specific titles only

Good video, good pointers. However, you made it difficult. I would suggest using a light meter, and an ExpoDisk and you can dial in the shot much quicker and have an accurate exposure and white balance.

step by step instructions to shot portrait has made is craft so amazing. I am lost in Andrew's description... I was always having problem in shooting at shopping mall but I hope it will resolve my problems.

OUTSTANDING lesson!!! I appreciate you showing the mistakes and how you corrected them. Very helpful. Question: Some cameras, like entry-level, don't have ABGM shift. Wouldn't it be easier and more accurate to do a custom white balance? Or could you shoot the model holding a WhiBal card or X-Rite ColorChecker Passport and "fix it in post"? I've been told I'm possibly color blind, so those micro adjustments are beyond my power.
Looking at the histogram WITH and WITHOUT the model is GENIUS! Again, I've never seen anyone else talk about that. Andrew is always bringing up helpful tips that you won't see anywhere else. The e-Learning and Premium Courses are FULL of those special tips. By now, I've watched them all, and go back over some of them occasionally, if I really want something to sink in. Of course, PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE! as I'm learning is a big help. And they keep adding new videos all the time. I can't believe the promo they have right now of just $29 for a full year! That's just over $2 a month! Totally honest - Andrew is BY FAR the best photo instructor I have ever seen!
For not being a professional model, Vanessa did a great job! She made it fun, and she got some good poses. 13:24 was my favorite shot. Don't know why, I just like it.

how the heck do you make every notch in the dial to be in true stops anyway skipping the incremental numbers?

Actually i didnt, GB, i merely 'trained' my thumb to turn the dial three notches at a go. But, that said, Nikon has a feature in the Menu that days "Only True Stop". Try it. It works well...

Normally I enjoy your videos. Unfortunately the background in the first series of photos really ruins the photo. There is a staircase coming out of her head in the background. You talked about exposure this video but the compositions were not very good.
Ok. Hence, learn from my mistakes... like i said in the video.
