When I saw your little boys yell your name and just ran as fast as they could to get to you my heart just melted! It brought back so many memories of When my grandkids did that I was just so amazed and felt so blessed ……I still feel that way they are grown with children of their own but I still get the hugs…..❤
I am 70, and last night I had dinner with a friend who is 78. We had a discussion about licking beaters, scraping a bowl of batter and eating it. Since neither of us is young, and we've been doing it since we were toddlers, it must be safe. And oh so good. Enjoy your vacation!

Year long construction goal is to remove drainage pipes from the active beach, help prevent further beach erosion, and maintain healthy water quality near swimming areas.
There’s lots of storm drains etc running from streets etc. it created erosion. They are going to run them out further into deeper water.

I remember what happened in the freezer. It was a mess to clean up. Someone, who shall remain nameless, left a drink in the freezer and it blew up. POP everywhere!

Question, would you mind explaining the booking process? My family stays with family in Florida so we never have to book anywhere but just a breakdown of how you choose an affordable but nice location and how soon in advance you have to book.

Nothing so sweet as seeing your sweet grandbabies running to hug you all! And I loved seeing Carline's pregnancy pillow too! Have you ever vacationed at Ocracoke? My family did and the entire island was so peaceful and beautiful and the beach was spectacular. I miss big family vacations...so much fun just hanging out and playing games.

Glad you all made it safe!! Of all the times we’ve been we’ve never had California pizza. We usually get there around 1pm and we go to fuddruckers for lunch, one because we don’t have one around and two we are starving since we leave at 4am lol plus the room isn’t ready til 3.
We may have to get California pizza that evening.
It just being hubby and I we won’t need a lot of groceries this year.

We always vacation in North Myrtle Beach. Instead of spending our first day grocery shopping we just ordered from Walmart and they deliver. We started doing it when c*vid was a thing and still do it.
We shop at home and take most all the things we need to eat so we don’t waste a day shopping at grocery store

Love the video Myrtle Beach is one of my favorites vacation spots and when the boys saw you it melted my heart that is how my great grandsons greets me and I see them at least 5 days a week and I love it. Enjoy your vacation and stay safe

I love love love going on vacation with your family. Back to Myrtle Beach one of my favorite places ever. I’ve only gone there myself a few times but going with you is almost as good. Have a great trip. Btw we had those thick Walmart bags at our store here in Jax FL for about a minute. They came and went real fast but I loved them. We didn’t have to double bag anything with those. I think they aren’t cost effective for Walmart though. Too bad. Customers approve lol. Those cute little boys made me laugh out loud at the end popping in so excited to be in the video. They are so adorable.

Cantaloupe, haha we call them Rockmelons in Australia 🇦🇺.
They moved that big yellow machine into the ocean the week of July 4th when we were there. I asked the life guard what it was and she said they dredge the sand with it. It sucks the sand out of the ocean and puts it into the shore. When y’all were in Rockingham we were over there getting groceries until about 9:30am on Saturday. We went early and got back home so we could grill before it got too hot. Have a blast!! ❤
If you guys love Myrtle Beach, you would love Fernandina beach and Amelia Island, Florida. That’s where we live! It’s like paradise here you can compare it to Cape Cod if you’ve ever been there. A lot of churches in the area too! We’re all a friendly bunch! We love our Florida life. We have for the past six years! Our former New York life can stay there for we could care less. Never going back there except a visit family.

Hey you like those bags? New york has plastic bags banned...have to bring reusable bags. Now new york is going to ban hotels from using the little plastic bottles of shampoo and conditioner and body washes. No more travel size !! Miss having plastic bags...wet bathing suits, shoes etc.
"Someone's " pop froze and exploded. Hardest thing to do is to clean up a frozen mess in freezer. The rag freezes to freezer!

Leslie’s cause is to keep Pastor Bryant from getting into trouble. Lol it seems like a lot later than last year when you are going on vacay! If you are coming back nest Saturday come through candor and get you some peaches and watermelon and fruit and vegetables don’t forget to get you some peach ice cream and peach pie have fun and be careful and don’t get sunburned
They have outlawed those thin grocery bags in Charleston and apparently in Georgetown counties. Those thicker bags are supposed to be brought back with you and used over and over again. That's why they are thick. So far it's not working! No one brings them back and they must be spending a fortune on those bags.
