Creamed Corn Vacation Style ~ Day 2

- Creamed Corn
3 can sweet kernel Corn drained
3 Tbls ap flour
1/3 Corn can of milk
2 Tbls butter
black pepper
Mix flour and milk, beating in all lumps of flour. Add butter and pepper to Corn and heat. Add in milk/flour mixture and heat until thickened.

I've been praying for them for quite some time and know that God's will be done. I tell my sons to pray for guidance then vote your conviction. Not voting, though, should not be an option. So great that you are enjoying time at the beach with your family. What a wonderful experience that all of you will remember for years to come, especially the grandchildren. Myrtle Beach is such a nice beach. As I child, my family always went to Bethany Beach, and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Once, we went to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and stayed in a beach house at Salvo, on Hatteras Island. My father loved it so much, he bought a lot at Salvo with plans to someday build a beach house there. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. Due to financial hardship, he was forced to sell it before he could build on it. As an adult, then married with a child, we went to the Outer Banks and stayed at Avon on Hatteras Island. Our friend would go and get their own beach house. Sometimes family would join us. Now, at 70, my son and daughter-in-law (and dog) have invited me to vacation with them in September at Avon! They have rented a beach house on the Pamlico Sound side of Hatteras Island. The Sound side is good for crabbing! I am as excited as I was when I was 5 years old! (Sorry this is so long-winded, but you got me all excited about going to the beach!) Thanks to your husband for the tip on the Bose speaker. I don't think he overpaid for it!

Looks like a very relaxing day! Although Levi wore his little self out! They will always remember their vacations at the beach with Bubble’s and Paw Paw! Those are my most cherished memories of growing up! I adored my grandparents and they were like having another set of parents!

OM, Judah and Levi are adorable! Such precious children! I love lazy days at Myrtle beach. My family usually goes down the day after Christmas and stays til new years. Don’t like fighting crowds anymore, lol. You are so correct! Our country needs prayer! Oh that looks so wonderful, I love the sounds of the waves. Leslie, when Donald Trump walked in the the Presidential nominee room, he was a totally different man he looked like he had tears in his eyes and was so humbled. Butler is my home. I was at the grounds on Friday night for a volunteer meeting and setup. We were shocked at the lack of security and those in charge wouldn’t answer our concerns. Due to the excessive heat and nagging thoughts about the night before, I stayed home on Saturday. Please pray for my friends who were in the front row right in front of Trump. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
