I may not play EAW much, but what the TR team has done is really impressive, so I think it’s time for another series of campaign streams.
Corey and his team never fail to impress with their mods.
The Bulk Cruiser for me has put in a ton of work when it comes to anti fighter support. If used skillfully a few Bulk Cruisers can mean the difference between fighter/bombers decimating your ships or being well protected. Yes The Corvette works well in this role but I think the shields and hull are a bit weaker a prone to being taken out.
Charlie, you had me cracking up at "The next part of this video will be things exploding in space" I see the context of that phrase and yeah the new animation is awesome, but it reminded me of a Monty Python sketch for some reason.
I like all of the new death animations, but some like the Super Star Destroyer look a bit too much like jigsaw puzzle pieces due to how the cuts were made on the model.
I know that each edit equals many hours of work, but if there was some way to either push segments away from the center more (instead of just collapsing downward) or possibly a different texture on the death model so the damage can be painted on for the segmenting to look more natural, then maybe it could improve it a bit.
These are just minor criticisms though, I am happy that they each even have death animations.
Yeah the super star destroyer death animation was better before other wise good job on everything else !
Nice to see the Thrustships getting a little love.
The Secutor update in particular really stands out, and it looks terrific now more than ever. Almost breaks my heart I when I have to destroy them. Almost.
I really want to see a new republic 3.2 play through. At least a couple of episodes.
Good to see Rhino's death clones get some attention, would be awesome to see this all in action in a gameplay video or stream.
It's probably because I played EaW vanilla before I knew about the Lancer but I always have preferred it to the Lancer. The new model for it looks really nice.

Oddly enough...I actually prefer the original Tartan Cruiser model to the new one. But that might just be because I have fond memories of playing the vanilla game as a kid. I've always had a soft spot for the Tartan, for some reason...

Well in vanilla it was like the best imperial ship, 3 of them were making several ywing squadrons disappear in seconds, and it was fast enough to chase them too

Dang, those death clones are really pretty. Can’t wait to play TR now! Great video, it was super cinematic
Love how varied and diverse the ship roster is for TR but do wish turrets moved.
Developers have spoken out about this, as far as I know. Rotating cannons are a nice touch in cinematic camera, but easy to miss in normal gameplay. Re-activating rotating turrets adds a lot of processing power & the FPS takes a hit. Making people with laptops struggle. Devs have to scavenge for every FPS, as this old 2006 game is only built to run off one CPU.

Everyone laughs at the neutron bulk cruiser and the battle horn until you make 70 of them and nuke the eclipse and take kuat with them
I know this is probably gonna be unrelated to the video itself, but I was wondering if you'd be interested in checking out Project Stardust (I think it is named after the Death Star project). It's similar to Empire at War, but instead of indirectly controlling a fleet, you directly control one ship. It includes Star Wars, Halo, and another franchise I'll let you find out the identity of (If you decide to play it). There was an update to the Covenant recently that added ships like the OSA, DRP, CPV, and more. The only truly useful piece of advice I can give you is don't kill meme ships. (Big Boi Arquitens, UNSC Spartan, Lore Accurate Yamay, etc.)

can anybody tell me how to switch on the move route green line that was defaultly on in the previous mod's versions?
There's a submod called pathfinding lines on the steam workshop
the new death animations have me stoked enough to try playing again for the first time in like 2 yrs! Have to agree with others tho that the new SSD death animation is a downgrade :(
