HOW TO PAINT SIMPLE CLOUDS

- In this tutorial I will teach you how to paint very simple basic clouds on a blue background using only white paint and a beat up old brush. So, grab your supplies and join me!
You'll want to paint a medium to light blue sky background on your canvas ahead of time and let that dry completely before you add the clouds, otherwise you may end up rubbing off or "lifting" some of the blue background color paint when you add the clouds. For tips on how to get a nice even blend from dark to light watch my video on acrylic blending techniques.

Thank you Debbie. I am a new painter and I know it will probably sounds stupid but just hearing you say wait for the paint to dry to do your clouds was a big tip to me because I have been so frustrated with it but I’ve been trying to do it while it’s still wet

Do you only use white in your clouds or do you use greys & purple?
