I hope they add gore/dismembermeant just as a little patch they better not horse armor this. As for dlc id like to see a cosmic horror theme play a major role or have the heat leeches start infecting humans which results in the thing/alien. I realy want a predator inspired quest that leads to armor, weapons and a ship. In the same veign as the batman one we already have.
I am very excited to see what they did with the story of varuun, very keen to see what i will experience there, it is very profound and i hope they kept the same level of narration on this one, bethesda did a very great job there, i never did expect that from them. Fuck all the mainstream outlets who hate on it because it does not make people stupid and mindless zombies with useless cosmetics and colors. I literally went from really bad guy to angel guardian of righteousness and liberty in this game
@centura86 Yeah, VaRuun are a mystery to me. Because they have the best tech in game, yet their religion is cultish and primitive a.f. There's mismatch there....
I thought it would be literal where space is tearing itself apart due to the grav drives, like how it tore Earth’s magnetosphere apart. This would likely tie in the temples and artifacts.
That's a very interesting proposition. This could open the door for multiverse stuff too, maybe grav drives are tearing away the boundaries between dimensions. Which could open the door for us to encounter other Starborn versions of ourselves. 🤔. Great idea!
I tought shattered space would continue the main story and find out who created the unity cause the other version of you mentions it, but i guess thats a different dlc perhaps
I wish they could build a couple hundred more prefabs to explore and place them around the solar system. I’ve explored every single prefab 10 times. I’m really getting sick of it. I need new places to explore.
Yup. I literally avoid POI's now because I don't want to run around meticulously searching every inch of a building for loot which I've already searched 20 times
Now all they need to do is.. make aliens be a thing, actual aliens, have more spots than like .. 15 things you find randomly even next to each other on planets with several minutes of walking in between.. make it where you don't have to search for tens of minutes to get into one 30 second fight in space to search for another tens of minutes, make bodies loot like other Beth games, Adjust the encumbrance levels to be easier.. reign in their stupid ass requirements to level up stuff, have a skyrim style upgrade system for weapons and gear instead of "screw you, find another better leveled gun" and have it be so you can have Sam and his daughter shut the fuck up about poems and stories and other shit in the middle of said dogfights you searched minutes for.
I've seen some past speculations around the net and got some ideas lol. One of the planets in the Serpentis system will have a large Va'ruun city in the Shattered Space dlc. It's currently "hidden," probably underground or cloaked in some sort of stealth field. Andreja will be our ticket in and we'll be introduced to Bethesda's space warrior faction in their space game. To me that makes the most sense with that whole faction and fits right in with all the base-game's factions: united space navy, space cowboys, and space pirates, and now space warriors. This Varuun city will offer "new" experiences, like fighting in a combat arena-- which tends to be staple thing in lots of their past games btw. My guess with the plot in Shattered Space is that Va'ruun (them or a rogue team) does a thing and now there is turmoil amongst all the people. Almost at the point of starting a new war and we'll even see factions threatening to bring out the mechs. New quest chains for the main factions during all this. The overarching goal is to help bring everyone (the factions) all together and not wipe each other out. I have a feeling lots of what we're told about House Va'ruun is sort of overblown and something about them will actually be key to whatever Bethesda has planned later for Starfield. What I'm speculating is that "certain" Va'ruun have knowledge on how to use the artifacts to travel to other clusters of star systems far far away. This will be where the later expansions come into play. Hopeful they got something like this lined up, as a way to bridge in whole new worlds and alien races to check out and meet. Like c'mon, I don't care if they're Khajiit or even Elven-lookin', bring 'em in Bethesda! We'll need some aliens races in this game eventually lol.
Super late, started playing Starfield again lately after months of not picking it up. But I really hope they explore Andreja more in depth. She's definitely my favorite character in the game, she just needs more fleshing out for sure.
What if the great serpent is Roko's Basilisk? Would fit with the whispers of rogue sentient ai, and va'ruun would have a really good motivation to follow it.
Very plausible predictions that really do seem to follow the breadcrumbs to a logical conclusion. Whatever the case I do hope shattered space expands on the mystery of these Artifacts and the temples. I feel like the explorations of possible explanations to these questions were woefully underwhelming by game's end.
I wish I could take my companions with me through the unity . I think it would be ideal to take Andreja through just to prove that her snake God is a joke .
tbh I think BGS need to add aliens into the game ASAP, one of the biggest disappointments is that there are no sentient aliens i.e ones you can talk to. I'm not asking for Mass Effect levels of alien species where you can bang anything with a pulse but a cool idea for a DLC I think could be some kind of first contact with an alien race which should include what the game is in desperate need of, big fleet battles. The ending of the UC Vanguard/Crimson Fleet was awesome but bittersweet as well due to the fact its the only space fleet battle out there, would be awesome if the DLC could end in 2 possible outcomes with one being with humanity and the aliens constantly at war with each other and the other with a peace treaty between the two. This DLC should also make the Spaced trait worthwile as rn its useless compared to Terra Firma
@@TheBlackRose3 I think if BGS had sentient aliens in the game from release I think SF wouldve got more positive reaction as I've seen people refer to SF as Fallout in space as there are only humans and robots to interact in the game and so i dont entirely disagree with it being Fallout in space. If SS is about House Varuun then I doubt thatd be enough to get people to return, if SS is about House Varuun then the 2nd DLC has to involve sentient aliens. The idea of a first contact with an alien species prioritizing big fleet battles i can see getting some ppl to return to/reinstall SF to see more space battles by having them b the main gameplay aspect of the DLC and personally I think you should only really b able to play the DLC once you get a fully upgraded ship where if u try to do the DLC in the starter ship u pretty much get instantly obliterated by the aliens.
It sounds like you need a better PC or something . I'm not saying that there aren't load screens in the game . But with my gaming rig they're definitely not long . Nothing like the load screens I got in Skyrim and in fallout 4 at least .
