Congratulations on your new machine Adam, the salesperson at the sewing machine shop where you buy all of your machines must get SO excited when he/she sees you walking into the store......
Hehe normally it’s a conversation over a period of time, I’ve gradually been trying to convert to a full Juki family of machines and this was the last replacement I needed to cover all my bases 😊
Super delighted for you and jumping up and down AGAIN for you! Yayyyyyy for your new machine. It has some amazing features. I’ve never heard of differential feed on a sewing machine. Very cool. I believe that the third straight stitch is a forward/back/forward stitch which locks your first few stitches, but you probably figured that out already! Very, very cool machine Adam. Have a blast…. Hugs from the Ionian Sea, somewhere between Greece and Croatia!
Thankyou so much Loriann! It crazy, it’s like the dual feed on the Bernina but it’s adjustable to be able to speed up or slow down to tailor the feed. Super clever! I hope you are having an amazing time! Such a beautiful part of the world, say hi to Larry from us x
Oh Adam, congratulations on your new sewing machine! It’s absolutely amazing. I wish you many happy sewing hours. Thank you for sharing! Your friend Diane ❤
Hehe it was in the works for some time, super happy with it, Juki know what stitch quality is all about. Hope you and the family are well, sending hugs
All the things you could get stuck on or want to know are built in tutorials in the screen, it’s genius! It tells you what the stitch is for, what foot you need, how to use it etc. a really intuitive and easy interface too ☺️
Miss Nina has been gifted to hubby, he’s fallen in love with the Bernina and it using it for so many different things from normal piecing to appliqué 😁
Fab sounding machine but you'll never sway me from my Janome machines, I have 3 - an Atelier 9 which 🤞 is my forever machine, my coverstitch and my Airthread overlocker (my most recent purchase). Ps, lots of best wishes and happiness to you both in yoyr new home ❤
Me too, I think it’s to fall in line with the branding of other machines or the way they market them, the DX series is a fantastic range and extending it to this machine in the US does seem fitting. I wonder if it will follow suit in time here. It does seem odd though creating different branding rather than just streamlining it in every country for manufacturing cost reduction
This looks like a fantastic piece of kit. That UA-cam function is amazing. 🤩 I hope you become great friends with the machine without too much of a learning curve. That’s a fabulous throat space, how big is it? Do you think this is a better machine than your Bernina?
I’m pretty sure it’s a 12” throat space, it’s huge! Similar to the bernina 7 series size. I do prefer this, it’s less finicky than the Bernina, don’t get me wrong the 570QE that is now hubby’s machine, is a great machine, I just felt I spent so much time telling it what I wanted to use it for than actually using it 😆
@@AdamSews Bernina machines are high maintenance which is one of the things that put me off. The other is the cost of the feet and other accessories that most other brands have included. I have never heard anyone not like Juki they get such great reviews.
Do you love your Juki machines more, or the husband? 😂😂😂 I have a brother PQ1600s that’s kinda like the Juki TL series and I love them, mechanical machines are the way to go! But I do miss the lovely stitches and digital inputs 😅😅
Hmm good question 🤣🤣 The brother had just come to the UK, it’s a sister of the babylock that Jenny Doan uses from Missouri star The Juki TL I have and the Industrial are fantastic machines, I wanted to have a nice computerised that I can use for garment sewing, I needed the buttonholes, button sewing, overcast stitch etc ☺️
This looks like a great machine. You said it fills a gap in your existing kit, but not what that gap was. Am trying to understand what's the key selling point/function of this machine versus others. 😊
Sorry I should have explained. Most of my machines are straight stitch only, which is fab, but not so much when garment sewing, I make a fair amount of shirts and jeans etc and need a good buttonhole, button sewing function (have handstitching buttons on) and other functions like a blind stitch and overcast for repairing knits etc 😀
@@AdamSews Thanks Adam. It does look like a fab machine. I enjoyed your live yesterday but was too tired to comment. I am thinking of upgrading in a year or so. Was considering a DX7 but now have a new option...
It’s been playing up ever since I got shingles in my eye about a year ago, I’m off to the doctors this week to have it checked again, it’s driving me nuts!
delivering on Tuesday❤I can't wait📦😄🙈

@@larifari9490 ahhh happy new machine day for Tuesday! 🥳🥳

Thanks so much Deb! It’s such a lovely sew on the new beast hehe
Nice! Juki makes so many great machines! Vintage Singer machines also make straight stitches!😊
Ahh they do, I have a featherweight, a 99k and a 201k, all do a fab straight stitch ☺️
Major machine envy here!!!! Congrats and hope you enjoy it as it deserves to be. 😊. Happy sewing. Lynne

Now that is one fabulous machine!! Are you saying I could watch you on my sewing machine whilst I sew your PDFs?! 😂 ❤ x
Yes hehe! 😛
Great machine, we love the Juki's at Sewing Direct. Well done.

@@AdamSews OMG, you’re so right about that! 😂
Congratulations on your new beautiful Juki machine.
Thankyou
I figured you were teasing a sewing machine and been waiting to see it. I do love the straight stitch on my Juki.

Beautiful machine. Love how it’s your forever machine - for now !!
Hehe for now 🤣 I don’t think I’ll be replacing it anytime soon
The balance dial, knob.

I always wanted Juki Industrial machine. Love all the machines you have.....
Oh the industrials are like true workhorses, they never skip a beat
Congratulations Adam these machines are fabulous, like you I love Juki and have the HZL UX7, have fun 🎉
Ooh fab machine too, very similar to this one, just a few differences mainly the screen size. The feed and stitch quality are fab aren’t they!
Congrats on the new Juki!! It looks amazing. Xx 💞
Thanks Izzy! It’s a fantastic machine, the fact I can watch Al my fave UA-camrs on it is a bonus hehe 😝
Looks impressive 😍and complicated! Look forward to hearing more about it, think I would need lessons to master one of these 😂

Thank you for the insight into this machine Adam. I’m very interested to see how you get on with it.
Very welcome, it’s behaving like a dream 😊
congratulations Adam. Looks like a very awesome machine. Use it well and have fun. Happy sewing.
Thanks so much Terie!

Wow what a machine you totally deserve it happy days 😊😊😊😊
It’s amazing machine and congratulations. And you are cute

Wow, nice case! Is this the newest Juki?
It’s one of their latest models, they released it to improve on the NX7 a couple of years ago ☺️
How much difference in price with a NX7 and the NX8 ?
Around £800-1000 I think 🤔
