I just have to let You know how much I appreciate , not only Your Store but all the support that You bring to Our awesome Juki community! Researching Juki was very intense on my part before I chose to purchase My Juki-I definitely made the right choice when I got my TL18. I am sorry to say that I didn’t purchase it from You but I have purchased many of my Juki products from You and will continue because of the integrity that You all have in the products You offer! Thank You so much for all the information you have shared. I’m very confident in using and caring for my Juki because of You! 😊
This was a nice refresher. I appreciate your tips about oiling and tension. I bought my TL-2010q in 2017 and I love it. A couple of years later I bought a HCL-DX7 because I wanted the electronic features and the decorative stitches and it's a really nice machine, but after all these years, the TL machine is the one I use most often. Solid, dependable, beautiful stitches.
I would love to see a tutorial about sewing something that goes from heavy material to light and back. I really love my TL, but am struggling making wallets and smaller projects because I can't seem to get it to stop skipping when there is a dip in the fabric. I'm not sure if I'm adjusting it wrong or what, but if you guys find the time, it would be a huge benefit. My best friend and I are both struggling with this right now (we both got the TL18 this year)
Every time you change you go through a full bobbin or whenever it looks dry. Here is a full video on oiling.ua-cam.com/video/7OCS4PDOXxQ/v-deo.htmlsi=gw5zFVXL751fjGPX
Well, I just watched your other video where you talked about having the foot down when you are adjusting attention and I probably will write a note but also I didn’t know about the needle bar those marks
Really appreciate your video. As a new juki owner, it helps me a lot with most of my questions to start with. I have one more question. Does juki 2010q take wt120/tex25 thread for garment sewing (silk, thin fabric, etc.).
Thank you very much. I have a TL2010 - I love it but do not feel I know enough about it. This video changed that. The explanation of the different tensions was great as well as the thread information. Also, where to oil and how often. Sadly the booklet which comes with the machine was not very informative. I love your site. I wish I had known you were in Florida before I purchased my machine. I live in the West Palm Beach area. I am going to visit your site and definitely going to purchase some bobbins. Again, many thanks.
Hi I have a TL2300 and have been told to use 134R needles. Can I use the needles you suggest as well? I am in the UK so don’t know whether there is a comparable TL in the USA. Thanks
My new TL 18 Juki will not sew. Thread keeps coming out first time you sew. Cutting feature was disconnected on foot. I try using one end of foot control but thread doesn’t sew.
For thicker materials would I adjust the presser foot pressure first and change it to the lightest pressure (left loose) and if that is still not enough then use Microlift? Or would I leave the foot pressure as is and only adjust the micro lift?
Right in the middle of quilting on my grace frame with TL15 a huge thread jam. removed machine from frame, removed most thread , plate , bottom of machine. dont see any thread ---but if I hit the thread cutter my machine is jammed to stop --black leaver up covering bobbin will not move----- also needle up and down button jammed the machine. - now needle will go up and down but thread cutter stopes machine completely
Perfect. You’ve addressed where and how often to oil. And you’ve shown where to get the fuzz out. My only issue is how far away you are. I’m in northern British Columbia, Canada. Darn. I’m not sure how much it would be to ship my machine to you for servicing, but I think it might be out of my budget. In the meantime, I will be ordering all my accessories from you.
I love my Juki . I’ve had it for years.Sometimes when piecing when I place the fabric under foot and start to sew it doesn’t grab the fabric the fabric shifts right to left Kim nothing is holding it. The foot is curved but I don’t notice this happening with friends Juki’s is there anything I could do myself to fix this. Friend of my made the pressure o it really high but that can’t be it because only 2 pieces of cotton what would I do for heavier fabric if the pressure is almost all the way down. Thanks to anyone who may know
There were a whole bunch of toned you pointed out parts where the camera was way too far away for us to have any hope of seeing ever exactly you’re pointing at. :(
Comment something new you learned from this video! Below 👇🏼 🤩
Thanks JUKI Junkies Team 🎉.
Best tip that I didn’t know:
Have the presser foot DOWN whenever you are adjusting the upper TENSION knob .
Thanks !
Thanks for the comment! That’s a great tip to take away 😅from

Thanks for commenting! I would have to agree the TL is a phenomenal machine. That’s a perfect duo 😍
Thank you! Bobbin tail not long enough was what I needed to hear!

I found out that juki does not make a scant 1/4 inch foot. How can you achieve a scant 1/4 inch. I would appreciate your input. Thank you. 8:26
My Juki's motor started slowing and speeding up, never quite stopping even though my foot is on the pedal consistently. Any help for this?
If your machine was purchased within the last 2-3 years you may just have a faulty pedal.
How about info on the pretention system and when to use all 3 holes of the first thread guide

DOES JUKI MAKE A SCANT 1/4 INCH FOOT. THE ONE THAT COMES WITH IT IS A BIT TO WIDE MY BLOCKS COME OUT A BIT TOO SMALL.

Will the new foot work on the TL98?
Yes

if the TL is a mechanical machine, what is the motherboard controlling?
Great info! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I have 3 juki computerized machines, I don't need a mechanical- but I want one.

I used prewounds on my previous Juki and it ran like a dream. My present TL won’t run prewounds for love or money. Odd, but I just wind my own now.
