That was the most exciting thing on wheels under 3kph that I have ever seen since my grandmother at 80 learned to drive. So much fun! Great history there at your farm! And Chris, it looks like your could pass for a REAL farmer based on how you handled that tractor. Which to be fair, does not look like it could go more than 5 kph.
Hahaha! Need for speed eh? 🤣 I am actually going to miss driving tractors & other machinery around once we have finished up at the farm!

This really good news. Just goes to show that the old stuff is worth keeping. It will probably still roll in 100 years if it is well kept.
It's amazing that it has survived the elements for so long. I don't think it has ever been shedded!

I'm both amazed and relieved that the wagon held together for the move Chris great work on the factor keeping it slow and steady. I used to read a book at my Grandparents about farming practice, and it had various examples of good and bad lines to take in manoeuvring a tractor and trailer and turning though a gateway, it's one of those things you just remember for when you need it ! I really hope you can find somebody to take the whole wagon who will look. after it !
It's ironic all the manual labour and shifting you do at the farm including getting that shelving unit up in the van single handed, and yet you get damaged by a ping pong ball, good to see it's healing well ! 😉

Is your Mom's new home fairly large? She has a lot of stuff she's taking and she's the Queen of shelving and storage cupboards. Watching you load that cupboard on the truck by yourself explains why you had shoulder issues.
Mum is very concerned that the new place is a lot smaller and there won't be enough space for everything! I've gently suggested that she probably doesn't need to keep so much stuff - but yeah, that didn't go so well! 🤣
As for my shoulder - best not say anything to my surgeon or physio! 🙄
It did hold together... it will be interesting to see if it sells and how they move it. Good to get $500 for each wheel. Would that be another dray, another dollar? 🤔
