All the memes aside I like that you guys cooked something that is a bit less "fancy" and easily doable and affordable for everyone, with easy common household ingredients.. I cooked it today and it was absolutely delicious! Thanks for the recipe Gordon please keep recipes like this one coming
Absolutely love all these home cooking videos but what would be even better is if you could leave the ingredients list and quantities in the comments for everyone 😊

Imagine being his kid and eating his food every night
@Narf or you can't cook and become a lazy broke ass
But to them it's not as amazing...they were born and raised on it. They don't see him as the famous Gordon, but rather dad (but as one of his fans, his food is phenomenal and I couldn't imagine)
@Narf I never said it wasn't, I just said they view it from a son/daughter perspective not a fan perspective. It's like living in a hotel all the time eventually it's normal, doesn't mean it's not fun or amazing.
I probably be scared of his language! 😂😂

Foreal! I can't believe Sean actually got him, that was epic, we all know Gordon doesn't need the money or promotion
"Can be made from what's left in the fridge and cupboard"
I would literally have to buy every ingredient in that soup.
The fridge or cupboard of someone who cooks. I don't even cook THAT often and i have everything but the creamed corn, leek, and bay leaf in my kitchen right now.
Looking at this after buying every ingredient to make it 👀
@@TonyPerez816 I like to cook but I live on my own so I have to buy fresh ingredients depending what I fancy
I just made this for supper for my family and oh boy was it good! I used heavy whipping cream instead of milk and added in a dash of ground clove and it was perfect! The whole family enjoyed it.
I always 'ask to borrow' peoples drive way bay leaves. Saying that, I used to live near someone that had fennel and rosemary just growing at the front of their drive. I don't think they knew what they were!

Previous month I managed to pull my first five figure income ever!!! I've been working for this company online for twenty four months now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the best thing about it is that I am not really that tech-savvy, they only required standard insight into internet and basic typing skill...The best thing about this is that now I have more time to spend with my family. I am able to dedicate quality time with my family and friends and look after my children and also going on holiday break along with them very routinely. Don't avoid this opportunity and try to act rapidly. Here’s what I do *internationalproject49.com*

One of my favorite all time cooks. He doesn't suffer fools *adults mostly*, is incredibly intelligent and a natural teacher, wonderful with kids, and makes some really simple yet tasty dishes. This is awesome.
I made this for dinner tonight, best soup I have ever had. Thanks Gordon, you're incredible!
Why is it so satisfying to watch him cook?

There I hope that helped a bit. Just read it in Gordon’s voice.
Message him on Twitter. You'll have a better chance of a reply.
I’m making this soup tonight, just simmering now. Wow, it’s great and super easy. I’m pairing it with some fresh rosemary potato crusty bread. Sooo good.
Ramsay has always been a huge inspiration to me and even with him being the type of person that he is...I still love his work and how he can go from upfront and brutal in the kitchen and so calm and Mello at home or outside the kitchen...now soup is literally one of my most favorite things in the world alongside Ramsay. Since a kid it's always been a dream to have soup with Ramsay. And maybe even make the soup with him...I'd literally be so happy. I never watch TV and so on rare occasions when I do it's always to watch one of his many shows....If I was on my death bed my one final wish would be for Gordon to surprise me with soup and lunchtime company :)

Chef, your soup was utterly amazing. I made it exactly as per your instructions, and it turned out beautifully. My family and guests all said it was the best soup they've ever eaten. Thank you, you and your videos are a great inspiration.
Did I hear Gordon just say to freeze something! Blasphemy!
Ian McGinniss it’s your house not a restaurant, it’s fine lmao
Its soup if you freeze it for a week its fine. The only problem with his reason is that you can have a soup meal every day but that would mean you have to make 7 fucking plastic bags of soup, what a waste.
Kwa ndo how is that a waste lol. You can also keep it in a pot or container. My family does it all the time
The frozen food that bad restaurants serve is thawed improperly, making the food almost inedible.

Guys Gordon Ramsay is going to have a new baby soon
Standing right behind you.
I absolutely love a good soup as well; especially if I have a really good slice of bread, or a roll, or something of that sort. My wife & I make our own bone broth & we use that to make our soups. When we finish making the soup we put in a blender and turn it into a bisque of sorts; like tomato soup. Good stuff. Thank you Chef Ramsay, you're the greatest.
I love how you always have knife-sharpening ASMR in your outros.
I'm going to start transferring my milk from the large plastic jugs to glass bottles so I feel fancier when I cook.

The ingredients haven't yet simmer and I can smell a warmly delicious aroma. Really impressed by the milk touch, my first time using in a recipe. As usual transport me and fill the heart
What makes me respect Chef Gordon Ramsay is he never belittles any dish that he cooks. Whether its a hometown dish of a foreign dish, he cooks and treats it with respect.

Always proceed with caution when seasoning food--you can put it in, but you can't take it out.

@@Azzyy444 You'd think this is something simple enough that people would know about it, but you'd be surprised how many people don't know how to season food properly. He obviously does this channel for every day people, so it's therefore obvious that he was going to tell us to be careful with the salt. He wouldn't be uploading these videos to UA-cam if they were for professional cooks.
I love a good chicken corn chowder and baked potato soup. Mom used to make them for years growing up. Now that she's no longer with us, I've been meaning to find a good recipe and this seems to be right up my alley!

Add a tablespoon of freshly ground peanut butter near the end to really make this dish stand out. Your guests won't really be able to tell what the extra ingredient is once it gets married to the other ingredients but really makes this recipe pop in an non-conventional way.
Make sure nobody has a peanut allergy first though..

2:21 "fresh frozen" hahaha looks like he learned that word from that guy in kitchen hell
I'm pretty sure he's saying "made from fresh, frozen, or even tinned corn."
Which is true. We do make it from all three types.
He means "fresh, frozen, or even tinned." not "fresh frozen or even tinned." Go back to the third grade please.
Yeah, like others said, there is s comma between "Fresh" and "Frozen". As for Gordon using frozen ingredients, gordon doesnt have a problem with using Tin or frozen ingredients at home, its when restaurants try to cut corners by using frozen or tinned ingredients to sell to thier customers.
The point to a restaurant is to serve food better then what most people can cook at home, using all fresh ingredients. Using frozen or tin stuff at home is perfectly fine, because your the one eating it, your not serving it to paying customers.
@@IlDeimosAlso, there's a difference between frozen sweetcorn or stock, and things like frozen meats or even entire meals.
Now I know what I'm making for dinner on this chilly winter evening.

Thrifty lunch?! I can't even afford a potato. 😂
How? A large bag of potatoes barely costs a few bucks, in fact when I was really hitting hard times they basically became my life force since I could get such a large quantity for cheap to last a long time.
@@PokeWolfe64 That and large bags of beans and rice. You can eat for a month on $10. Go to the dollar store for seasonings and you're golden. On another note, that lunch really isn't thrifty. That thick ass quality bacon...mmmm.
