Thanks for sharing! I'm also ready to head to the junk yard to find a replacement door! Body shop wanted $2000.00 plus to replace and paint my damaged door. Junk yard wants less than $100.00 for replacement assembly. Now all I have to do is figure out the lock change process I hope. Thanks again!!

Thank you, thank you... I cannot say enough "thank yous.' By the way, I am a small woman with not a lot of strength. Changing my starter, I could not hold it in place while connect the bolts. What I did was center a jack under the place to install with the starter on it, jacked it to its height to connect bolts. Manytimes there is noone around to assist so one must improvise. I also used my jack (under the lug wrench) to break (loosen) the lugs to change tires. Again, thank you endlessly for this vid. I will certainly use this info to remove the door on my, none electrical, vehicle.

Thanks for the video .. so the hinge part is welded on the body and the door should be pretty secure right? Because sometimes when a car park close and you can't open the door wide to get off .. you sometimes need to be on to the inner handle to support yourself out and avoid the door to open wide and hit the other car .. so by doing that an skins of lifting yourself out .. that pressure won't do any damage or affect the alignment of the door right? Thanks again

Don’t put body parts under the door! If there is items or rain water secretly inside the door panel, you may get seriously injured. Instead use a hydraulic jack, lifts, or piece of wood that you are able to snug under the door when you have started disassembly. Otherwise great video.
