coat the remains of the chain that should not be soldered with protective grease - white gouache, black or brown .... it protects very strongly from sticking and soldering when soldering
@@Baicon no, it is best of all natural paints, such as gouache on water, white is white clay, black is soot from coal, brown is umber, brown earth, it is safe, harmless and perfectly protects against flame, diluted with water to the desired density and with a brush anointed, then the place is fluxed and solder as much as you want Deze pagina vertalen
hello my friend how are you ? could i use the gouache for silver chain soldering too? and do you know the meaning of gouache in spanish lenguage? thank you my friend
well, this is a hollow chain and first of all this kind o jewellery gather dust, soap, skin particle, and i recomand before anything clean it in ultrasonic bath and after dry it, of course you can not clean it perfect, but it is important when you put the flame not to burn all that gather inside, because it produce a lot on smell , smoke and a black surface over the jewellery (you can remove in ultrasonic bath), after you solder it you can put it ultrasonic bath to clean the burned surface , after that in acid for a chemical cleaning, and polishing in magnetic tumbler. I hope it ll be helpfull
@@yassinebaarar780 is vitrex, some king of eco acid. But you can also use citric acid, or vinegar with salt. You can find the formula on the internet if you search. I can not give you an advice because I never try it.
What you are doing is cool! But the dude hammering is so distracting! Taking away from your artistry. Next time if you are working either, NO sound, or just don't do it. So annoying!

Also you can use Flouron as a oxide barrier, somtimes you can use also borax or salt, if there are not too many sloders nearby.
