Hi, don't you use any solder?
@@Antje86 Nope, there is some solder in the cap, but in some cases you can add some solder.
How much does this cost in euros? Mine is sliding down half my arm 😢
Hi, i know this is a old video but just recently had my pandora bracelet resized by a jeweler, is it normal for the bracelet to be stiff after resizing?
Hi, if the resizing is to much, like 2-3 cm, the bracelet it becomes stiff when you try to close on your hand, and it s normal because of the chain.
Where you’re located?
Romania
Can I Use paste solder to reconnect it ?
Yes you can, but also it might have some solder so you can try to heat it and see if you can use the remain solder on it.
Hello, did you just heat the part and then unplug it?
First you must put borax, and then heat the part and add some pressure using tweezers and that's it's.
@@Baicon So put borax on it, heat it up and peel it off and when you put it back together with heat, add borax again?
@@user-un6ww4gg4j yes you'll need to add borax at each part that's going to be solder, otherwise it will oxidize and the solder won't flow. If you have some experience with soldering you will have no problem, try it it's not so complicated.
@@Baicon what do you use for soldering?
@@user-un6ww4gg4j gold solder
Hey, I bought my girl a pandora bracelet and its to big for her arm, is there a way I could ship it to you for you to do the same thing like in this video?
Hello, I think is more easy and cheap to fine a jeweler in you area to do this job, It's a simple job, anyone can do it and it take only 20 minutes. If you can not find it, you can message me to find a way to do it. Good luck!
Hola bueno día, me gustaría saber cómo hacerlo
This video is annoying all banging in the background ????
Olá eu qria diminuir minha pulseira tbm igual como faço
Hello, you can do it the same way, do not worries, It's easy as you can see in the video! Good luck!
No se ve un carajos
What you are doing is cool! But the dude hammering is so distracting! Taking away from your artistry. Next time if you are working either, NO sound, or just don't do it. So annoying!
When ur making a video please make a video when you’re alone without the partner beating on hammer 🔨
I was coming here for an ez fix, but the dude pulled out a literal flame thrower, I can’t do that sir
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same
Seriously lol
Hello.. hat is the name of the burner (burner) and see how it works? Thx!
It's a little smith torch, and it's a oxygen propane torch and it's a great torch for small soldering. I recommend it.
Yo can't see half of what hes doing
Salutare
Salutare!
coat the remains of the chain that should not be soldered with protective grease - white gouache, black or brown .... it protects very strongly from sticking and soldering when soldering
Also you can use Flouron as a oxide barrier, somtimes you can use also borax or salt, if there are not too many sloders nearby.
@@Baicon no, it is best of all natural paints, such as gouache on water, white is white clay, black is soot from coal, brown is umber, brown earth, it is safe, harmless and perfectly protects against flame, diluted with water to the desired density and with a brush anointed, then the place is fluxed and solder as much as you want Deze pagina vertalen
hello my friend how are you ? could i use the gouache for silver chain soldering too? and do you know the meaning of gouache in spanish lenguage? thank you my friend
@@SuperDutchman59tengo otra consulta mi amigo. despues de soldar como hago para quitar esa pintura?
@@SuperDutchman59 please tellme more about this method. i would like to learn about how to soldering the chain employing solder powder
Whats the point no commentary and most of the time watching a brick!!!!!!
WHAT IS THE SOLUTION YOU DIPPED THE GOLD RING ❓❓
It's boraxin, liquid borax, you must disolve in tap water as you need.
@@Baicon APPRECIATE THE QUICK REPLY. THANKS.
Go to work
Valnetin Petre Bordea if I can help you with something and the language barrier is a problem, I am a native romanian speaker so don't hesitate to ask. Thanks for the comment!
I'd be too scared to try to do that myself, ill probably ruin the bracelet for good lol
It's not so complicated, with patients and attention you will succeed! Trust me 👍😁
@@Baicon Oh ok 👌🏾
Which flux ur using sir?
It's boraxin , fluid borax you can find it at jewelery suppliers, just mix it with tap water.
How do yu remove the oxidation the jeweler burned my shit😂😭
well, this is a hollow chain and first of all this kind o jewellery gather dust, soap, skin particle, and i recomand before anything clean it in ultrasonic bath and after dry it, of course you can not clean it perfect, but it is important when you put the flame not to burn all that gather inside, because it produce a lot on smell , smoke and a black surface over the jewellery (you can remove in ultrasonic bath), after you solder it you can put it ultrasonic bath to clean the burned surface , after that in acid for a chemical cleaning, and polishing in magnetic tumbler. I hope it ll be helpfull
What is the name of the acid for chemical cleaner
@@yassinebaarar780 is vitrex, some king of eco acid. But you can also use citric acid, or vinegar with salt. You can find the formula on the internet if you search. I can not give you an advice because I never try it.
Why would you post that with your buddy hammering to his own beat!
Can the part you removed be bought?
I mean, we can’t see shit here! You made a video of a prick!
The best👌
You should never make another video! Instructional videos are supposed to contain instructions!

Awesome, what liquid you use to reconnect it ?
It's borax liquid, or you can find it named as boraxin

thank you, you're very helpful
@@Baicon what liquid did you use to separate the chain from the clasp?
@@carolsolomon265 it is borax liquid, you can find it at jewelry suppliers, also named boraxin, it used in Europe.
Why on earth would you put a pandora bracelet through this...utter madness!!
Exactly!!!
Yeah because it would be a shame to fix something the same way it was made now wouldn't it? You're a smart one aren't you?
my pandora bracelet stretched out a whole lot where its falling off my wrist. there's no other way to fix it other than cut it and re-weld it
...brick show...
what kind of solder did you use is it gold or silver you solder it
It's gold
I'm here because my 30K bracelet is now almost torn when I hit the side cabinet
It is almost impossible to evaluate without seeing, so my recommendation is to go to a professional repair shop and they will undoubtedly choose the best way to repair it as well. all the best
Thanks

@@Baicon I live too far to get my bracelet resized by you 😭
fuck is that clanging
Does the battery pack remove the need for the camera's 6v battery? Does it power the camera?
Jamie W you still needs the 6v battery
Have you done this before as you're pretty useless at soldering. Less oxidation eh ? Looks like more than most. Terrible
😂😂😂
How much does this cost to do ? Is it less than the price of a new bracelet?
Wrinklies I charge 6$ .
Can you send me your info I need mine resized .
@@Baicon send me your info as well.. emjaydakidd@gmail.com I need mines resized to please..
Why do a video and not talk about what’s going on
Natasha Potts because it’s self explanatory?? He heated up the metal, took off the end clasp, cut the bracelet and soldered/heated up the bracelet to add the clasp back on. Simple if you paid attention
I mean no introduction as to what’s going on here
Ouch, this poor camera needs a drop of oil or three! Like the other comments say, it's an easy fix. Search yt for Canon A1 shutter squeak. I repaired mine yesterday in under 10 minutes. Your camera will thank you later.
Please sort that mirror squeak out!
Got a squeaky mirror! It's an easy fix.... Look it up.
Where can I find the bottom grip?
You can find it on ebay. this model it's called canon power winder ma
