Another vote for more sailboats. Really loving some of the invovative interior design/storage solutions they're coming up with. Be great to see you do a walk around a Sirius DS 40 for instance.
The wet room is brilliant when you are in some rough weather and cold, you can come in, strip down and have a hot shower while getting rid of your rain gear. Love it. And thank you for the mirror wave, missed those. Really nice yacht at a reasonable price. Keep em' coming, please.
Those boats most likely will never see rough weather with the owner on them. Sailed with a couple down in Greece with our Van de Stadt Andromeda and they with their Hanse 455 I think. 7 Bf and some healthy gusts, cross waves at around 1,5m height. We had our Fok out (jib in english I think) and were doing comfortably 8-9kt with my girlfriend boiling water for nudles on the stove. The other couple wasn't too happy about the conditions and although matching the speed with ease, they had a much rougher ride. Granted, our GRP yacht weighs 20t and is over 50 years old. Still, the much better hull design played it's part. Modern yachts are nice for racing from traffic light to traffic light, but not for an all out 24h race.
@@GERntleMAN it's not better hull, it's just different. If you are just cruseing then you can avoid bad weather easily especially since they have more speed for their overall length.
A lot of thought has gone into that layout, a wet locker is a great idea and a lot more useful than a third cabin when you have the options of converting salon to a berth. Great tour as always.
I'm blown away by how much space can be created in such small areas. Maybe boat designers can move on to houses next. Can't wait to see the progression of yours Nick over the coming weeks. Great watch again.
Lovely sailing yacht, loving to see more of them, and what makes this stand out (I think) is the wet locker. Maybe it has been on other yachts before but it’s one of the first that I have seen! Brilliant as always Nick!
Hi Nick. It like a tardis inside. 2 decent cabins and lounge. Welcoming interior with neutral colour tones. A proper sailing yacht. Great video thanks 😊
Another great yacht, I think the interiors on yachts are fantastic, always nice finishes and well laid out and always look comfortable. Nice video as always Nick thank you.
At first, when you started showing sailboats I was not over enthusiastic, however I’ve still watched them all. And since watching them I’ve started to grow a certain love for them and actually quite enjoy seeing the sailboats now. Keep up the amazing work Nick! As always, love the video and a great tour. Cheers sir.
I’ve only recently discovered this series of videos. I have to say they are absolute quality. I may never have the money to enjoy the marine life, but these videos still makes me feel included. Good job 👏🏼
Morning coffee and yet another dream "world cruiser" style yacht. They've fit a lot into a sub 40 foot yacht and the design looks like it will age quite well!
As always, the best boat videos! Beautiful craft, this one. Although I’m not sure I’d fancy all the rigging and work associated with it and whatnot! Wishing you the best from Louisiana, USA. (Please keep the SE part of our state in your prayers.)
Hi Nick. Thanks for another great video. I really like the Hanse boats they seem well engineered and the build quality looks superb too. I must admit I am in love with the Hanse 458... wouldn't say no to one of those! Hope you are having a good week - take care!
Nice enough boat, but a bit austere for my taste. Interesting that the berths are quite compromised. Do love that shower/wet locker idea. Always nice to see different sail designs on your channel Nick, the variety of boats you show is always excellent. Another top notch Aquaholic Tour!
Very cool! Great for a short week or long weekend just sailing. And always appreciate the mirror-wave. I'm sitting on my front porch and neighbors are probably wondering what the heck I'm doing waving at my iPad but I don't care. Thanks for the tour!
Beautiful salon...I love the light woods on the sailboats you have been featuring. Beautiful watch too!!! I couldn't get a good look but I'm guessing a Baum and Mercier Classima???
The compromise between more kitchen and food storage for a wet room. With my palette I’m not sure I could store enough if I had guests in the second room. If it were an option the 2nd room would be storage and wet room with more kitchen space. Friends can stay on the couch 😂
And thank you Nick for this nice show of the Hanse 388 very impresive all those Hanse you did so far I like the wet room/extra shower nice thanks again
It needs a swing out chair by the navigation station, otherwise a very nice boat. Simple, but well organized and fully loaded with all necessary gear for two couples to sail the world for months at a time or even to live aboard.
Hey Nick. Over the years I’ve always been drawn to your watches when they make their way into frame. As a watch collector myself I’d be interested to see you do a video on your clearly impressive collection. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen at least an Omega SMP and a submariner? Or at least very good homages to them, and a few others too.
Thanks, Nick. How come you never open up the tables on sailboat tours? It would be nice to see some of that functionality and to imagine oneself using them.
I worked for a boadyard.in Hamburg. We painted the New Hanse From the factory. Greifswald . I could push my Finger in few arials at the bug. .trough the gelcoat .there were no fiberglass at all ..air bubbles..we had to filled them with Epoxy putty.
Very nice but why don't these more affordable sailboats come with a dual chair option instead of the settee I love those. Glad to see the sailboats on this channel!
this is almost the exact same tour as another boat I just watched on this channel last night! which one was it...maybe the same boat, but it was the 3 cabin version.
I need to save up and live in a sailing boat like this. I will do some solar installations to it. Because this things depends on your diesel too much not a good things for living in it.
Lovely boat, but the square edged furniture looks too much like ikea flatpack for me. (Same for many boats nowadays) I understand real wood and curves adds a lot to the manufacturing costs, but would love to see some innovation in how the edges for furniture in these boats are produced. Rest of boat is extremely attractive.. thanks for video!
The year is a bit relevant for the titles, because a while ago you had a 40something foot Hanse for 200k. Either way, wonderful boats, I may end up owning one in the next few years when I upgrade from my Hunter.
Is it a really a tour if we don't get a mirror wave. That said, I do enjoy seeing all of these beautiful boats. If the lottery corp would cooperate a bit and pick my #'s I'd buy one. LOL. Nick love the tours, keep 'em coming
Love your videos and your channel and the mirror waves. You've taught me so much about boats. Would you go for this or the Oceanis 40.1? They all seem very similar on video.
general question; if you are not docking at a marina but want to go ashore for supplies... how do you do that? whats the process for getting your tender secure on shore or harbour???
Thanks for your great reviews. Earlier this year you reviewed an Oceanis 38.1 (£187,000) and a Bavaria C42 (£162,000). How do you feel those two boats compare to this Hanse which is more or less in the same size category but which seems to be considerably more expensive. Is there any appreciable difference in quality? Thanks.
I've got to think that if there is an option where the shower and deck locker space are completely open as a cabin (as complete as a quarter berth can be, obvs) it seems like the opening into that locker could be SO MUCH BIGGER. And maybe not janky looking. For reals, that hole is ragged looking. Also I have never seen a standing chart table before. I like working at a standing desk because my office building doesn't heel. I think that's a terrible idea.
I'm enjoying the increase in sailboats on the channel.
Me too, love the channel and even more so now.
Agreed! Not a sailboat guy per say, but the change of pace is appreciated.

When u look for a Sirius u can look for a Isla 40 too, same pricerange.
As much as we all love the Big Super million dollar yachts, you really can't beat the smaller sailing yachts ❤️
Thanks for sharing Nick ☮️
im a 12 year old and love your videos

After watching many Aquaholic videos I'm beginning to comprehend the potential for boats to consume vast sums of money!
It’s like a second vacation home on water. A luxury , but a wonderful quality-of-life-changer if you can keep it up properly.

Just woke up myself
I always enjoy your tours. And also, I made it a habit of waving back at you whenever you wave at us in the mirror!

@@AQUAHOLIC BINGO!!!! They are beautiful watches and they won't force you to take out a second mortgage. Lots of styling cues from IWC.

There's a reason this brand new boat costs the same as a 20 year old Pacific Seacraft, or a 20 year old Amel, Super Maramu.

As ever, Nice Nick.
That bronze and teak finish on the cover picture looks amazing. First boat where i had to open up the configurator to check it out.
Maybe do a Jeanneau Cap Camarat 10.5 WA Serie2?
Oh yeah there's the mirror wave!

Love the channel but you should quote the price of the boat shown , including all the options on it and the VAT, this is a 350000 pound boat.
20% of viewers are in the UK and would need to pay VAT, and even then, only if they keep it in the UK...
leaning always towards a sail boat rather than a motor boat. imagine a big difference in running costs?
When out sailing do the twin wheels both spin freely- or do you lock one while you are using the other?
They both spin in synchronization with each other.
