AMD: Hold my gold bar.
The cache is stuck in the bottom this time.
What about 4K if everything is limited to the video card and the game has a maximum of 80fps using the maximum settings? Should I switch from the 5800X3D or can I calmly wait another six months or a year for the price to be lower and switch to a new CPU?
wait for the price to drop bellow $400. Your still in good shape.
@ Thx 🤟
i have 3090 and 5800x3d and i get gpu bottlenecked on 2k most of the time
you are 100% safe on 4k for at least another year! its a beast of a cpu
Oh please. deleted. I do am AMD user since the 90's but Delete I would not call it.
NEW G.O.A.T. ? 🐐
4:44 why not test at 1080p instead of 1440p to lower gpu usage?
cause nobody buying this CPU is on some 1080p PIECE OF SHIT MONITOR ?? Wer all on oleds now.

In a few months, when an even faster GPU is released, you suddenly find out that the apparently similarly performing CPUs at 4K (GPU-limited) are in fact not even close.
Benchmarking is intentionally unrealistic to isolate specific components.
Just gonna stick with my 7800x3D and 4090
Not sure that voltage vs w/t was well understood here
There is no Intel Ultra 9 285K in the comparison chart.
damn, i just build a 14900k system today.
no offense but good luck
My guy they literally announced these CPUs at like the top of the year 😂
@@JingMitsuyamaCH hahaha, I always shy away from AMD for no good reason at all so i never kept up to date, when i saw the new intel chips drop and they were crap, i went all in XD haha, but im waiting for a 5080 next year, should still be fine, i dont think it'll be a massive difference in fps in higher resolution gaming :)
@@partyprash2000 omg no way you bought a intel in 2024! i guess you will be fine in winter! no room heater needed.
@@speedXchess LMAO!! GG
Maybe Apex need to unlock fps to 600 like OW2 with their new DX12 update in the new ss
I don't need to, but i got the itch to go from am4 5800x3d to am5 9800x3d, and sell my am4 bundle, in 2025.
i've got 5800x3D, i think it's time to upgrade to 9800x3D
