No amount of sadhana guarantees liberation or enlightment in the same lifetime but it surely guranteed burning Karma as fast as possible. Your work is to burn karma, the end. Enlightment you can not decide, this is a big thing. Just do the sadhana and let go in the maximim way you can the rest of the day. Thats the work.
"Silence is the first door to spiritual eminence ! - Adi Shankaracharya. Needless to say that true enlightenment is synonymous with simplicity, humility, sagacity, and wisdom - as exemplified by the legendary gurus of yesteryears - like Lord Gautama Budha and Swami Vivekanandji - for instance - among others ! For such divinely traits, they are still being remembered by the people and held in very high esteem ! Someone of the caliber and brilliance of Lord Gautama Budha and Swami Vivekanandji is born only once in several centuries ! It goes without saying that it's not absolutely necessary on the part of someone to indulge in - any sort of chest - thumping - or - shout from the rooftop - to get noticed ! Real greatness comes out into the open on its own ! No one can cover it up for long - however hard and long one may try ! How right was someone in his assessment in saying - "Respect has to be earned ; not commanded !"
#AskSadhguru Hello Sadhguru! You've said if someone reaches 83 years old, it's likely they won't reincarnate on earth, that their bond with earth is largely broken but they may not attain mukthi either. What happens to them? Where do they go? How can they ever attain mukthi if they don't get a new body?
He said that they will be lying around as a disembodied being and since the being has broken the bond and is loose enough (i.e., his energy system is mature enough), an enlightened being will dissolve all such disembodied beings to mukti.
You are mixing something there. Zen is a smaller branch of buddhism. Why you think Zen Buddhism is direct? It's mostly work with the mind. The word Yoga is to wide

In the 3-4 hours of sadhana which you're doing everyday, if you're unable to experience something or anything not of the physical world, you're sadhana is futile. If you're doing a 20-30 minute sadhana, that's agreeable. But not if it's 3-4 hours.
Why? Is it written in some sort of manual that 3-4 hours are too much for a person to devote to a sadhna? Even if someone gives 24 hours, there are multiple aspects to it and it is a constant journey that one has to go through.
@@shimi-gami3859 10 minutes of sadhana is more than sufficient. The whole point is to experience. Whether you have a drop of alcohol or a whole Pitcher is not the point. How high you want to be, that's up to you. The more time you spend time in meditation, lesser time there would be for other things. So where do you draw the line in your sadhana, is upto you.
@@chintamanivivek it is upto individual's will but it's easier said than done. If it's that easy to be done than why not each one of us is enlightened right now. That's the reason why we are given with a sadhana so that we can gradually transform ourselves. 10 minutes are sufficient if you have a great fire within you but for most of us that's not the case, atleast for me it's not the case. It requires a constant effort hence i dont find any problem if someone is giving 3-4 hours to a practice.
thinking you need to practice somthing to become something. this guy makes people think they need to spend time on sadhana to liberate themselves. the real liberation is to even liberate yourself from this beautifull storys. go on if you want the pleasure.
You're assuming too many things about what he might be saying. If you can simply sit doing nothing on all levels, physical mental, emotional and others, that's great. If not, then there's sadhana to get you to that state where you can sit doing really 'nothing'.
I love him.
