For this song I use techniques such as pulling the back of my tongue up higher and opening my throat as if I were about to yawn for the higher notes, also try breathing through your ribs rather than shoulders as you will not have enough air to push out all the notes. And for the section before the final note where she goes ahahaha ahahaha ahahaha ahahaha push out the notes in short bursts of air using your diaphragm and you'll be able to reach them with more ease. The really annoying thing about this sound is Raul says 'bravo!'. He should be saying 'brava!' The phantom actually does, so it probably shows Raul actually knows almost nothing about the opera XD
+Jammythewerewolf I mean Raul is a fairly unlikable character all things considered. Stuck up, pretentious, and I always believed this was just to further his lack of knowledge and understanding. I mean come on, he had one job to keep his hand at the level of his eyes and stopped listening to that at some point and we all know how that ended up... The story does a very good job at endearing the Phantom to the audience.
I don't think Raul is unlikable. He is hot-blooded and maybe a bit ignorant but he is not a bad champ. He is young and in love and love makes people stupid and reckless. The Phantom may be more intelligent and mysterious but he is also selfish, possessive and dangerous. By no way is he the good guy.
I'm an alto and it takes a lot of practice but you guys CAN hit the last note. Just focus and spend time with it. I still struggle sometimes but I've been able to hit it. Confidence is key :)
It reminds me of a childhood friend from grade 3! After almost 13 years apart, we finally meet each other once again and I am really please we still remember each other! Raoul's part describe exactly what I was thinking, meeting her again for the first time! :) She grows up to be a great person!

This was my grandma's favorite musical. I never realized until I was an adult that she saw herself as the phantom.
I sang this song in my music lessons, which is what first got me aquainted with The Phantom of the Opera. I also sang ``Wishing you were somehow here again`` which is one of my personal favorites. My goal is to sing all of Christine`s parts in the musical perfectly!!!!! :) Being a soprano I can reach all the notes.

I did this role years ago in my 30"s. It was so much fun and did take a lot of rehearsal and practice.Even though I'm not an opera singer, I am a pop and broadway singer mezzo soprano, and this can be sung by lyric sopranos and high altos. i just listen to her sing because when i was a baby her voice always makes me sleepy. and i perfectly calm when i her her voice ever since i was a baby and its still makes me sleepy and be calm. i just don't say nothing at all when i her her singing. i always fell a sleep when i only hear her voice only. but its and good song.
