  • It's been a while since I took on a custom order for furniture! The owner had gotten these pieces for free so they needed a lot of love! I was able to bring them back to life and she was SO happy with the end result! What do YOU think of the end result?

When trying to fill that groove, can I suggest putting the bondo in a ziplock bag, cut off the tip and pipe it in, smooth with the knife, a lot less sanding. 😃

Hello from Belgium! You give me inspiration to do the same. We are restoring a 1905 house here in Ostend. Love the old furniture in the second hand shops here. I flip them as you do and gives a great satisfaction. Thanks for all the time you put in transfering all your knowledge and experience 👍👍👍❤️

Love this base! Love all of your work as well. Oh and I believe the issue you’re having with the router is because it should always travel away from you. Otherwise it’s working wanting to push away from the wood based on the way the bit is spinning

Don’t forget within costs are electricity, consumables like sanding pads and cloths, part of your home as workspace, car insurance, wear and tear on vehicle. In Canada you can claim a portion of your home and vehicle cost on your taxes if you have a home based business.

Buy some pipe clamps. They're cheap and you adjust them by changing the pipe that they're on. They come in parts. You buy the ends and add the pipes to them. You can make them any size or length you like by changing the size pipe in them. They also are a lot tougher than those bar clamps like the ones you have.

Hello from Houston! Lauren, I love your passion and relaxed working/talking style. I have been watching your channel just for leisure (pleasing my eye and "soul" lol). Another stunning work done! Just a small tiny suggestion though, for your camera man (he does amazing job and contribute a lot to your finished videos): Could he possibly give a steady look for the whole picture of the set a a bit like at least 3-5 seconds? His camera just keep moving from top to bottom, from side to side, it is good to add the great feel, but it is killing me not seeing a whole picture. Thanks.

I love your work and I’m getting started in building my own flipping business. I also have a question. How come you often don’t mask off the inside edges of the dresser drawer cutouts to protect the inside panels from overspray? Do customers just generally not care about the overspray on the inside?
