Uhh, more like the 1930s and 1940s, dude. The Hays Code was already breaking down in the ‘50s and ‘60s due to the Paramount Decision, the rise of TV, and the influx of foreign film imports that didn’t have to abide by such censorship.

Movies then used to have a good story and good actors in order to get good reviews from media critics. Now they just need to add a lesbian character who identifies as a non binary asian black man.

If you are doing a film, pick the actor that best suits all the characteristics of the role as it's relevant to the story, not to meet a quota.
I grew up in the 50s and 60s and would love to go back to that time. Not just because of all the nonsense going on with this administration and especially the teachers in this country, but also the way families were back then. I'm glad I'm not young anymore. I don't want to see what this country is going to be like 10 years from now. I wish I knew what happened with our government. And to be truthful I'm too old to do anything about it. Give me good music, good movies, good television etc. A lot of things were wrong with the 50s and 60s but compared to today, it is innocent.
