@@Xsara24 He isn't really just misunderstood and undermined by his Father. I can see that he'll become "tamed" by Callum. Callum has this aura of being calm and collected but in terms of Ben he'll be more firm towards his and Ben's safety including his "step-daughter" and the others.
Regretfully I'm afraid i have to agree with you! I hated Ben when he first came back because he'd become so dark but then he seemed to turn over a new leaf when he and Jay had a heart to heart when Phil was in the hospital and Ben let everything out that he'd been bottling up plus when he and Callum started developing feelings for each other and I ultimately thought it would mean Ben would become his best self and be more like he was when he was with Paul and for a while that seemed to be the case and whilst I still love their scenes together and was grinning like an idiot at Ben and Lexi and Callum smiling at his man being adorable and playful with his daughter...I sadly don't think this relationship will last. :( Come Christmas... the truth will come out about what Ben has been doing and I suspect everyone will be done with him and he'll be on his own. Him threatening and blackmailing Martin after he helped him is just despicable. Frankly he's behaving like a right b*****d! And once Keanu let's slip that he knows he was trafficking young girls at one point and didn't bat an eye, Lola will be getting Lexi the hell out of there and somewhere he'll never see her again. And Callum will drop him like a hot potato. I definitely get the sense that the entire Mitchell family will be splitting up at Christmas...once Louise finds out that Keanu is the father of Sharon's baby she'll drop HIM like a hot potato, Lola will take Lexi away and Jay will choose Lola over Ben and go with her, Sharon will be kicked out and may leave the square for a while with her baby and I reckon Phil and Ben will have a mega bloody fist fight and Phil disowns Ben and tells him to leave and never come back to the Square. Either that or Phil and Ben after they've both nearly killed one another, Phil actually comes to some kind of realisation that he's the reason for all of it. That it all stems back to him and his failing as a father and a protector and maybe he'll apologise sincerely and feel terrible and they finally put the whole 20 years to bed.
