How can you REALLY love a man, you are supposed to be in a relationship leading up to marriage, when you don't know one of the very core things about them, which establishes the relationship...their sexual preference? There is Loving someone; as a person, as a friend, as a companion, as a partner, and loving ALL the wonderful things about them. AND THEN, there is BEING IN LOVE WITH THEM; as a lover, someone to emotionally, spiritually and physically connect with; be part of them in the most intimate way...feeling as if you both are one. Both Whitney and Callum had the first, but they were NEVER a couple IN LOVE. I think both are sentimentally confusing the loving and being in love, for the same thing. I loved my wife of 34 years, but I was in love with my fiancé' (the first man in my life, after I came out to me). And wow, it was earth-snakingly different...no even close. Once I was in love with Dominic, there was NO confusion about the difference.
