You guys are some shark slayers! I was saying to myself, “That shark wore Chuck out” right before he said he was tired 😂. Chuck always looking sharp in that Buckeye gear but gotta admit your son is looking tight in that Bengals championship swag. Who-Dey!
Nice job on the catches Chuck and Jaden! I can’t believe you are getting all of those sharks that close to beach. I think I will still to lakes for swimming. Lol
I think that second black tip was the biggest one! What’s funny is you could see people in the background swimming as you guys are reeling in these sharks! 😮 Not me!! I’d be out of that water! 😂 The momma is out there somewhere! 🤣
Another great fishing video their truck what kind of bait were you use and we have some friends that would like to know because they’re going down to Myrtle Beach and they’re going to try to do the same thing
(Rolling with J and A) Hey y'all...y'all got it going on!We know that y'all are hooked now. 🎣 Next time y'all head to Myrtle Beach give us a heads up and we might be able to meet you there. We live in North Carolina. We were recently in Myrtle Beach
Please please please go to Fire and Smoke and order the Elk. You will not regret it. Big Mikes Soul Food is also one of our favorites as well. Enjoy. Follow up with us if you go.
What?! I was just swimming in those waters a few short weeks before you went. I had no idea there were sharks out there! Yikes. Do you legally have to throw sharks back - or does Chuck just not know any good shark recipes? LOL. We had such a fun time at Myrtle Beach. Hope yall did too!
Great fishing y’all!!❤ What did you use for bait? What kind of set up was that? Like a Texas rig with a liter? Size hook? Wanna see if me and my crew can land some in a couple days.
We use large fresh caught Mullet from a cast net, cut into 3” pieces. It’s a Carolina rig we use and I think a 10/0 circle hook. Don’t cast too far, make sure your just at the break and high tide is best
In the first trough which is literally where EVERYONE swims 😂😂. During high tide the fish move way in. Approximately 20yds during high tide and sometimes we get out further around 30-40yds. Best bait is fresh mullet, whiting or croakers as cut bait.
Hey I got a question, so I'm going to mrytle beach early april and was wondering if I would be able to catch sharks at the time of the year off the surf, and if so what bait should I use.
We are always there in July so I’m not sure about the early spring bite. As far as bait goes we use fresh caught cut bait. Baits like large mullet, croakers and whiting. The heads make great bait imo.
Loved the video guys! If you're back in the Myrtle Beach area anytime soon, be sure to check out Stalvey's Bait and Tackle! We're located a short drive from the beach and can offer some exclusive deals on top bait and tackle! Tight Lines.
We caught 4 and hooked into many more. Honestly we cast right where people swim, but we do it early mornings and when it’s not crowded. It’s very eerie getting back into the water that’s for sure.
Okay Now Mr. Chuck ‼️ Who said he couldn't fish 🎣❓ Well he's a 🦈 now... Literally...No one can come for you in the comments now Mr. Chuck 😂😂/🤣🤣‼️Mrs. Cherie got herself 2 Legit 🦈s in the family (Dr. Dolittle/Jay). I 🤔 if Mr. Chuck had been Dr. Dolittle-ing with the 🦈s that day because those baby 🦈s kept wanting to say hi 👋🏽🤣🤣🤣
Thank you. We are well aware of the “no shark fishing laws”. We are using cut bait which multiple species will feed on. We caught plenty of Red Drum using this technique. The problem is those pesky sharks will eat anything.
@@enroutewithchuckandcherie wrong time of year to get into the reds. I’m just giving a heads up because I know how people are there. Someone is likely to accuse you of such. I was denied enter to a pier one time because they thought my reel was too big for anything but sharks.
Most enjoyable video - love watching you catch sharks. One of our favorite things to do, too!
Such a fun time. Now we gotta catch some Bass together 👍🏿
Awesome job Chuck and Jade

Nice job on the catches Chuck and Jaden! I can’t believe you are getting all of those sharks that close to beach. I think I will still to lakes for swimming. Lol
Thank you. They really were just 30-40ft out. Crazy.
Whoa, great catches Chuck! You are going to get spoiled fishing here.
I am so spoiled fishing there

I’m not sure what each type of shark they were but it was fun. Funny thing is hours later we were swimming right where we were casting 😳😂
Nice I hope you had a good time
Had a great time
Those were some good size sharks! Can't believe how close they are. With all the swimmers and surfers! I think Charles was the biggest! ~Ray

We catch whiting or large mullet and use them as cut bait
Go Bucks!
Always Go Bucks 🙌🏿
I’m going in two weeks. What was your bait. Good video
Fresh caught cut mullet and cut whiting. About 3”-4” pieces. Let us know how you do and good luck.
Wow! Way to guys. That why I say on the sand! 😂😂
Thank you it was fun.

Sharks everywhere out there. We throw all of them back not sure on the regulations. We love Myrtle.

Gotta 11 year and 15 year old gonna try to put on a shark. Going down tomorrow.
🙏 thanks
Great video. My wife says to remind her to never swim in Myrtle Beach.😁
Never swim in Myrtle Beach😂😂😂. There are a lot of sharks but just be aware of your surroundings
Enjoyed your video! What rod and reel are you using?
I’m using a Penn Spinfisher V 8’ surf rod
Shark 🦈 week😂👍🏽
Shark week for sure 😂😂
Go Bucks!!!
Yessir. O-H
We were just there two weeks ago. Where do you guys usually stay?
North Myrtle
Good fishing👍, I can no longer give you shit about fishing Chuck🍻😁
I’m gonna remember this 😂😂
How far would you say you’re casting to get them to eat?

Spring brings all kinds of sharks. But don’t fish Myrtle. Look into head in south into Georgetown County where it’s actually allowed.

We are a little behind on the comments, sorry!! Thank you!!! Appreciate it and we will be back this year!!! We will check it out!
How far are you casting
Not far, 30-40yds
And what part of Myrtle beach can you fish for shark? Garden city
We were in north Myrtle. We weren’t “shark fishing”, we were just fishing 😂. You can use cut bait to catch a lot of species, Redfish especially
4 Sharks ??? And how many people are swimming there ? I fished Fla heavy for 8 years and never caught one !
We caught 4 and hooked into many more. Honestly we cast right where people swim, but we do it early mornings and when it’s not crowded. It’s very eerie getting back into the water that’s for sure.
When the MB water gets hot, thats about all that swims there. Except tourists.

Can’t help but to notice you’re using cable on your rig. Targeting sharks is prohibited in that county so I would be careful in the future.
Didn’t know using a leader was prohibited. Also, we were targeting redfish with cut bait and just so happen we hooked into sharks 🤷🏾♂️
