Roger Taylor's drumming and background vocals are epic. Am so glad this is available today so future generations can see, hear and witness greatness. And those in attendance will never forget that night.
The look on your face when Freddie is going through his range 🤣🤣🤣 "oh my God, this guy isn't human". He's the best... no one else gets remotely close to him. Suggested Queen song: no one ever mentions this one, and it's a forgotten gem which is from the same mould as Love of My Life. It's called "Nevermore" from the Queen II album from the early 70s. It's only just over one minute long but it's one of the most beautiful, emotional songs you'll hear.
No 😁 there was one singer - Ronnie James Dio. Both are fantastic and never ever reached. Listen to "Stargazer" from Rainbow. He is also unbelievable talented.
There's no living in my life anymore The seas have gone dry and the rain stopped falling. Stunningly beautiful lyrics and a magical background to my youth. Love it and, yes, excellent choice.
you just witnessed a legend at his peak no auto tune no post production just pure raw talent for all the band.. they sound just as good live as recorded which for groups/bands today is never the case R.I.P Freddy we love and miss you allways.
Thank you for a great reaction. A lot of people suggest this video because of the picture quality. It was filmed in IMAX so it's so sharp. But, personally I prefer Milton Keynes 1982. I think its better musically. I hope you do more queen reactions. You will not be disappointed. Take care.
Greetings from Dublin Ireland, I first saw Queen live in 1979 😄 The ticket cost was 5 pound . You should react to their Live Aid set , absolutely brilliant.
It looked like your eyes were closed a lot of the time during this song? If so did you miss seeing Roger Taylor's exceptional drumming skills (while singing at the same time). They were all on top form here in this concert, and "Save Me" is another great song.
One of my favorite Queen videos but I have a bone to pick with you. Somehow you were displaying the video in a mirror image of its actual self. and it drove me crazy. For example, Freddie's grand piano was always placed stage right but in the video you showed it was stage left. The whole performance was light watching it in a mirror.

This has become my favorite Queen song lately from listening to reaction videos. lol Queen had so many great songs it's hard to really choose. For a complete change of pace, try Don't Stop me Now which was late 70's Queen and the song, Breakthru which was near the end of Freddie's life. Both are very up-tempo songs.
Try Queen live aid. Definitely their most reacted to performance. It's around 20 minutes long, and definitely worth it. Also definitely enjoy your reactions, I find it entertaining seeing the difference between your early reactions and now.
Queen: White Queen. The best guitar solo with Freddie playing the melody on piano of anything in the Queen Catalog in my opinion, which is saying a lot, and it is 1 minute and 45 seconds long. Brian is absolutely shredding it and Freddie is nearly frantic on the piano. Freddie's vocals on White Queen are perfection. You will love this song and will wonder why you never heard it before. I loved your reaction to Somebody To Love, thank you for sharing it with us. Don't rely on the movie to be a documentary of Queen or Freddie for that matter. It does a fair job of showing Freddie but the timeline is eskew and much of the happenings are fabricated to give the interest needed to make it into a movie. Entertaining, absolutely, but factual, not really.
if I can recommend it is best to see a good documentary about Queen. on the band is "Days Of Our Lives". instead for Freddie Mercury there is "the great pretender. I recommend them because the Film Bohemian R is not really the reality of the facts.

I would highly recommend you watch love of my life live. There are several great live performances of that song so take your pick. Really great enthusiastic reaction. Queen broke through when I was 15 and I'm 62 now. It's really great to see a young person's reaction to this legendary band who had the best frontman ever to grace the stage. Thank you
Enjoy your trip down the Queen rabbithole. My favourite is Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy which is always overlooked but it's hard to go wrong with Queen.
Yes - but you should react to all the songs beforehand so you can simply enjoy their performance. Perhaps all their “studio” Official versions. Then see them live at Live Aid. Remember that this was a HUGE Worldwide Charity Concert for starving Africans. Every star band/singer only got 20 minutes to perform. Queen had to shorten some songs to fit as many hit songs possible in 20 minutes. Many songs were left out. They performed without lights, costumes, and pyrotechnics. Just their Great Music, and they “stole the show” as Elton John said. Also remember that Freddie was singing against his Dr’s orders (throat infection) and the audience were not Queen fans, as Queen was added after ads were done in the press. 😊
My favorite Queen song!! 💗💗. Thank you so much for reacting to this perfect performance! Written by Freddie & inspired by Aretha Franklin!! Freddie is the greatest vocalist on the planet! 👏👏👏👏 Loved your reaction!! 🎉🎉
Like any human, I love Freddie; but Queen is much more than just Mr. Mercury ... I bought the albums when they came out because of all their aspects. Brian May is an amazing guitarist and has a unique sound and Roger Taylor played drums as well as any rock-n-roll drummer ... and they all could sing too. I think a good next foray into Queen would be to react to the movie "Highlander" for which Queen wrote all the music (specifically to the themes in the movie). Songs like "Who wants to live forever" and "Princes of the universe" and "A Kind Of Magic" are absolutely iconic parts of their catalog. The movie has a huge cult following as well; it's well made with a great story and lots of great sword action ... fun dialogue etc ...
Thanks for your beautiful Queen reaction! Freddie is one of the kind, magnificent, unique! Isn't only his energy but his passion! Welcome to the QUEEN experience! I love Bohrap movie, I watch so many times that is embarrassing to say how many (lol). The movie Bring back QUEEN and FREDDIE to me again! I'm a huge QUEEN fan for so many years... I was in Rock in Rio 85 the 2 nights of Queen.... This experience would go with me to the end. Kisses dear! 👑❤️

Now that you've done this one might I suggest another from this concert. This was filmed during the Game tour, from 1980 to late 1981, the song is "Save Me". It was the last song on the album and a new one done live. I know I was BLOWN away when they did it when I saw them at Madison Square Garden in September 1980! Actually the scene from the movie was supposed to be from the show I saw in 1980.

Favorite Queen song eh... That's not an easy ask. You've checked out Bohemian Rhapsody which I'd probably pick if forced to do so, and then The Show Must Go On is of course another one of the absolute classics. To pick something other than those two, Innuendo really grew on me over the years. When I first saw the music video as a kid it really creeped me out, lol.
I watch alot of these live reaction videos and I have to say this one was the best one I've seen yet! 🙌 Most live reaction vids keep pausing it every few seconds to talk utter crap... You let the song play and your face did the talkin! Subscribed! Please do more xx
I would have to say that Freddie was the hands down best frontman ever. Queen also has the best backup vocals. But I’ve always struggled on the top vocalist because Steve Perry and Freddie go off the charts on vocal range.
wWas it me or was this a different video . The video i remembr has Freddie on the left of the screen and Brian on the right . Was this one fimed from another angle , it looks so different .
The movie is great(I saw it 6 or 7 times in the cinema lol), but it's not 100 % accurate. Like he didn't have AIDS at Live Aid. He had HIV but he didn't know and he wasn't diagnosed until 1987. He also didn't pine for Mary after they broke up. There's some stuff Freddie wouldn't do either like say Queen us whatever he says it is. He was very much about Queen being an equal band. He also didn't do drugs like they portrayed in the movie. Yes, he did some cocaine at parties sometimes, but it really wasn't like it was in the movie. If you want to know about them I suggest watching a documentary. For Queen as a band then Days Of Our Lives is great. ua-cam.com/video/zA5pOli6pIg/v-deo.html And my all time favorite Freddie documentary us Freddie Mercury: The Great Pretender ua-cam.com/video/dKdw1YxAkzA/v-deo.html Anyway, this is my all time favorite live performance. The studio version is great, but this song live is on a whole other level ❤
Good suggestions! For KILLER QUEEN I would suggest their Official video from Top of the Pops. DREAMERS BALL do the live in Paris. DON’T STOP ME NOW the Official video is very good. I’d like to add: WHITE QUEEN live at Hammersmith Odeon, it truly shows how talented Freddie and the whole band is (even though the camera stays focused on Freddie).
Enjoyed your reaction...I love this performance and the one at Milton Keynes is also great...and different. Please consider reacting to White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975 and Stone Cold Crazy live at the Rainbow 1974. Also Under Pressure and Another One Bites the Dust live at Wembley 1986.
I prefer the thumbs down to the no response. Not everyone likes everything. There are songs that people think I should like that I don't care for at all. It's all a matter of taste. Or maybe their cat sat on their mouse...
