Easy Method to Beat Gears & Gambits Hard mode - FF7 Rebirth (Required for 7 Star Hotel Trophy)

- Forgot to mention 1 thing (forgot it was a sub menu) Make sure Blizzaga, thundaga and firaga shots condition is defeat 1 foe, thats all that needs added. I may redo the video to explain this but its here just incase I dont.
Another difficult mini game required for the 7 Star Hotel Trophy and of course the platinum. This is a much easier layout which just completely overpowers the opponent and does major damage. No point healing just all out offense.

For anyone asking the condition for blizzaga, thundaga and firaga shot is defeat 1 foe. Its on the video for a split second at 0:46 but just so you know.

@@Cman04092 it must be. I don't remember changing anything for that and I can't see it on my footage. I only remember changing the high powered attack.
My t1 robot can't be summoned in game with this setup any idea why?
Dw part 4 where I started has restrictions based on bosses element

Yeah I know how you feel. I'm happy it gave me some extra story but I didn't like the mini game at all lol.
This was soooooooo fkn tedious... arguably the worst mini game of all yeah. This and this fkn frog jumping thing on the clock

@@BSeeD06 see I breezed through that cause I used to play fall guys and that was my fave ending game lol. Never lost. But I see why people would find it annoying it gets pretty fast.
These were the last hard mode minigames I needed to do and I'm burnt out so looked for a guide. Didn't have to look far. Bless you, sir.

Same here. I did everything else solo. But I absolutely hated this mode and wasn't in the mood to figure it out. It reminded me of those terrible gummy ship modes in kh.

This was an extremely helpful video. You did all the programming for really strong robots you can't lose here. Best guide I've seen yet didn't have to do anything. Nicely done

Really thank you, did all 4 phases in few minutes like they were nothing ... the last thing i needed was this Fort Condor variant, and when i saw it first i already knew there was going to be the hard mode, like FC in Junon. Thank again.
Yeah when I saw hard mode popped up I was like nooooooooooo lol. Once I figured this out it's easy. All aggression lol.
Worked a treat thank you. I left the 'aga' spells on active after 30 seconds and it gave it a better chance of reaching the boss

If you’re scrolling trying to find one that works this is the absolute best guide. Copied the gambits and washed all 4 first try.
For the bots bliz/fir/thun shots make sure to set the sub gambit as defeat 1 foe. But make sure to match elements. Thun to thun - bliz to bliz - fire to fire

You been a tremendous help. I thought it would be a massively frustrating pain. But it was the opposite with this guide. In fact I had an easier quick time with this then when I first played through it wildly enough. Thank you so much. I don’t know if putting the game on easy mode was a factor, but I heard doing that effects some mini games despite the enchanted difficulty. Now that’s weight off my shoulders. :p
Haha yeah once i figured this out i had an easier time than i did playing the normal version too, its crazy. One weight off your shoulders at least, theres loads more to do lol, what you aiming to do next?
@@Solestro I believe I’m about to start Chapter 10. I’ve completed everything I can for the time being as I make my way through the story. Recently beat all Queen’s Blood opponent challengers out the way. Gears and Gambits manages to be easier than Hard Mode Fort Condor.
Just beat the 2nd stage first try with this method. Thanks for this!

Thank you so much! Massively helpful! Made this so much easier! On the way to the platinum. I have one final minigame to do which is the piano minigames and then to get a few of Johnny's treasures (I think I have 84 or so) and then do Hard mode and the rest of Chadley's combat simulators.

@@Solestro Would you say it's easier to do hard mode and get as many manuscripts as possible and then take on his legendary and brutal missions? Or just go for it? I got the piano trophy (which is hugely surprising because it took me about an hour and 40 minutes to get a B rank on Tifa's theme in the demo but I managed to get A rank on the 6 songs that were needed within an hour). I just need to redo the Loveless play with Yuffie as my date and then my last treasure is literally from completing the brutal and legendary missions

Nah I've went through 90% of hard mode and the amount of folios you get for just going through the the story isn't a lot. It's the side quests you need to do and I'm at the last 2 legendary missions. You don't need those folios 😁. That's awesome that you are so close, I'm leaving the piano mini game for last so I can relax and get the platinum lol. Hopefully my videos will be helpful, as the legendary missions are ridiculous.

Thank you so much for this. I've enjoyed tackling all the other mini-games but this was the only one I didn't enjoy at all. Not interested in mastering the Hard Mode version so went straight for a guide. Worked perfectly.

Hope this guide gets bumped to the top. All the other "Hard Mode" guides tell you to change the game difficulty down and not play on Hard Mode, and all their strats get dumpstered by the actual fight I needed a guide for. I'd just do that cause this mini-game isn't fun but you can't lower the difficulty on a hard mode run. Do this on your first playthrough y'all.

Its not letting me put the cost -20 gambit on the self:modify hp and cost. Everything is the same, but it wont let me add the cost -20. Any ideas. Maybe an update preventing me?
