Absolutely wonderful guide. It took a few restarts, and I didn't even secure the extra square in the second round and still won. That first round combo repeatedly in round 3 and all out round 4 is more than enough to secure a solid win.

Thanks for this. You're the only guide I found who didn't use cards that you can only get post game. It took a lot of retries cause cards would go, or they'd prevent me from getting the middle treasure chest in the first round. But after a while, I finally got it. I got 165 in the end, which was hysterical to see them try in vain to pull a win.
Thank you, I wasn't even aware when making this that there were new cards after Ch.12, and I was hesitant to even mention the specimen card because it was from a different challenge in that chapter. I beat everything in this game as it became available with a few minor exceptions
This was so good, even when i strayed away from the exact suggestions for moves I was able to get well over 100! great deck

This deck is so OP, this challenge was the last difficult thing I had to do for the Platinum trophy for Rebirth. I had tried other decks of my own with no luck. I tried other decks from other videos on UA-cam and the RNG involved was not consistent. I tried this deck and got 196 first attempt and obviously crushed this challenge.

This also helped for the previous survival challenge as well, as I was struggling to get above 70.

This is the best videp without requiring endgame cards hands down. The 1st row strategy is the main factor that helped me win with a 99 and a 101

I spent like four hours trying to get this with another videos method and just wound up getting frustrated, after watching this one, literally the longest thing was getting the combo at the beginning and getting chadley, spent maybe an hour and a half tops. Thank you so much!
Thank you I'm really happy to hear that. I didn't love that my method involved some RNG but in a 15 card deck no matter what you do there's RNG so I could live with it. I chalked it up to it being better to spend time getting a great setup than spend time playing out a poor setup and losing. The time needed for you was on the higher end so the RNG was unkind but well done sticking it out and getting the win!
@@Gatabud yeah really it was just a matter of the first time I got the right set up I messed up and played the wrong card accidentally and screwed myself so I had to do it again. Either way, it left me with plenty of time to do the rest of the wonder square challenges (gbike/3d Brawler) done, which was a literal cake walk in comparison lol.
I agree I have recordings of the space game and the bike but never uploaded it. I might, might not, idk
I was really hoping to do this challenge before endgame and almost every other guide used endgame cards, so I'm happy this guide helped not only circumvented that but went into detail about what to do on the fly instead of just showing the one successful attempt

@@Gatabud Thanks, I got really lucky in round 4 with loveless and several of the cactuar cards that buff in a "Y" up and down to push me over 200 :)
So a lot of this method comes down to being unbelievably lucky. I haven’t had that luck yet, but hopefully soon.
You don't have to be crazy lucky there's quite a bit of margin of error if you're creative and think on your feet. Keep me posted on the progress

I really love hearing that, I'm glad you got the win. I also tried a couple of other things first as well. I initially thought the key was going to be cards like moogle that generate additional cards for your hand. Problem is, those additional cards aren't that great for most of those type cards. I've never been a fan of debuff strategies because they depend on the opponent doing certain things and I like to just control what I can control

Normally I hate looking up something online when I haven't achieved everything first, but damn this game makes me so angry for some stuff, and considering I'm at chapet 12, it's been months since launch and it has a ton of content, like all those minigames.
I gave up and then this was the only video i could find that made sense and explained how to properly set up the rounds, but with a passion clear to see, it's obvious to me that this is the product of taking strategy into account on a serious level, because games are even this, taking things seriously.

This really needed a good distilled edit. So many things can go wrong. If the computer is willing it will take a lane if it just plays the cards correctly. The 6 in the last lane won't save you if he plays his to gigatuars. He can also luck out with the same cards and just get like Malocerous and win the middle lane. And that's on top of loveless. between this and hoping you get Chadley on top of your mulligan combo
If you could win with Mai maybe it was best to show it.
EDIT: Finally won because the stars aligned and I was able to complete obtaining chadley and having fleetwing in the last game. My overall score was low because somehow being forced not to use Dio crippled by score but the overall score for both of us was low. I'm thinking he played the same overall hand in the 3rd round similar to you which was big win button cards. Fat Chocobo, Skywheel, and Dio
You know what I probably should have made this video longer with a mai win. I refined this method for several days and did over a dozen wins so after getting a realistic look at the RNG I felt that yes some people would have a tougher time just because of bad luck but I did feel confident in the odds of a win.
This strat worked amazingly well. Destroyed the challenge 159 to 32. Thank you!
