75 hard is..... SOOOOOO HARD!!!! I’ve tried it several times and have yet to make it through which makes starting again very daunting... BUT!!! I know it’s possible, I know it’s something I can be capable of, I just need to DO IT!!! Doing it with you, and your community may be the extra motivation that I need to successfully complete it this time around. PLEASE let us know if 75 hard is something you try!!! I'm American but I live in Northern England and really, some days "outside workout" isn't gonna happen. ☔ 😂 ❄ But I am so game to give it a try! This could be the thing to get me back on track, too!
When I moved to my first house I bought old furniture off craigslist. I have a bedroom set that I sanded and re-finished and it is now one of the most gorgeous pieces of furniture I own.
I'd love to do 75 hard, and totally respect anyone who does, but I think it would mess with me and bring out the all-or-nothing mentality that's set me back so many times in the past. I think it's got some great stuff in it, but the whole having-to-start-from-day-one-again if you miss anything would make me quit and forget about all the progress and good work I'd made. Having said that I wish you and all who participate all the luck in the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️
yess thank you I just commented smth similar . I'm trying to get into 4-5 shorter workouts/week again and honestly the most important part is forgiving yourself and trying to get back into the habit. 2.5 months is a long time, doing it for like 2 weeks would be too much lol. Maybe if it's stretched out to 4 months it would be more feasible
Yes!! I just skimmed through the website and tbh the whole mindset that this program promotes seems harmful (at least to me personally!! I'm genuinely happy for those who found it helpful)

I actually talked with a friend about wanting to try 75 day hard just 2 days ago. It seems extremely difficult, especially to do alone. You starting it as a group thing would be amazing, and I would 100% want to join ! Congrats on your recent weight loss!
Beatrice, I hope you see this comment, you are beautiful and I hope you believe this. Your face is so much smaller. And I'm not saying you are beautiful because you lost weight. But you are trying to lose weight, and its working. You are inspiring me so much. My goal is 20kg. Have a wonderful evening and a blessed week 🤗
Omg I swear you're the only vlog I watch from beginning to end! Thank you so much for being YOU. Realistic, funny, and a little more into your life other than fitness goals. I think that's important because sometimes I find myself comparing my life to all these committed fit people and I struggle with balancing normal life and fit life. Woah! That comment was longer than expected, idk if it made sense. Anyway!!!! Thank you! Enjoyed your video!
If you have enough space for a craft room in your new place, maybe you could someday tackle clothing alterations to cope with your size changing? Taking stuff in is pretty easy, and it'll probably be so fun to watch!
I love seeing Bea and the Muppet gang that was the highlight of this video. I looked up the 75 Hard challenge when I saw it trending on Twitter and it sounds like it would make me miserable. Kudos to those who try it even if you don't succeed and make it a few weeks that is an achievement and you should be proud of yourself and don't feel bad if you missed something and had to start over.
BEA!!!! I've watched your ADVENTURE from start to finish in just a couple days (about 49 videos) and you're amazing! From your original song *sometimes you get fat then a little less fat then fat again* to your multitude of faces to your strength and perseverance... I. Am. Hooked. Thank you for being you! XO
You got guts. I bought a bikini for a cruise, I am a size 26 and went into show my mother who's a really bad asthmatic...she laughed so hard we had to call the ambulance. She was in hospital for two weeks cause everything I visited she would start laughing so hard she'd get another bad attack. The head nurse had to tell me not to visit for a couple days, The bikini was retuned and no one ever mentioned that again. I recently lost my mum and her reaction to that bikini was one of my favourite memories...you go girl, you have courage.
you mom is like mine, she loves some things as long as she doesn't know what's in them, like she loves alfredo sauce but hates anything with cream and milk 😂
I laughed all through this video: the Sesame Street Squad, your intro, the haunted furniture (I feel the same way!), the rosemary, the no bra wearing. Bea, I love your videos. You are awesome. And I would love to do the 75 Hard challenge. Yes!
I’ve never head of the 75 hard challenge before this video, but I’m in! 1. Need a challenge. 2. Need motivation. 3. Need a virtual squad. 4. Need not to think, just do! Bea, thanks for the invite, and cheers to your awesomeness💖
I think this 75Hard challenge can disrupt old patterns that need to be disrupted, but in the mean time it can disrupt mental and physical balance... I do like the idea of a challenge though. I think I'm gonna go with the 30 day Body Groove challenge again :) !! Good luck on your mission! Love you! :)
Tip on your kitchen garden: herbs are super hard to start from seed, I would recommend just getting the plants themselves and repotting them. Rosemary, thyme, and oregano can all go in the same planter if you want, but basil should be in its own pot because it wants waaaay more water then the other ones do.
Thanks for the thredUP link. I got my first two pieces today. I used your link to get 2 amazing designer blouses that I could never in a million years afford at the boutique. And I will be surfing their site regularly from now on.
"Rifling through the box to add more weird little stale marshmallows to your bowl." I DIIIEEED! LOL. Same, girl, same! Gimme all those weird freeze-dried marshmallow things. I could eat a whole box of them!
I'm doing indoor herbs right now! So ask away. You just need some fluorescent lights, and have them on for at least 12 hours a day. The top leaves should be 3-8 inches from the light source. Get some soil, pots and perlite. Germinating is hard btw, you will get mold and be miserable. Some plants are better off propagated from cuttings, for example mint and rosemary. Just saying coz you bought rosemary seed, you might be better off buying a plant and propagating cuttings. And look up your herbs one by one. Mint needs to be watered almost daily, but the same would kill basil etc.
@@rebeccawestie9191 yes that's a tough one. You have to look up the plants one by one. Mint can be watered almost daily as I said, but rosmary likes poor soil with 1/3 perlite, and dry conditions with mist. As it takes up moisture from the air rather than the soil. Basil and sage I would water weekly for example. But make sure all your pots have draining holes, that helps with keeping them alive.
Hey I wanna grow basil at my home because it’s not available in the markets where I live. How should i grow it? Seeds or root? And what all should I keep in mind to make the plant grow healthy?
@@cuteasduck6192 Hi! Basil grows quickly and easily. Use regular potting soil, sprinkle some seeds on top about 1 inch apart, and mist it every day with a spray bottle. You should see them pop up by day 3. Start watering them, first a little bit every second day, and then more water and less often as the roots spread around in the soil. The soil should be moist, never wet. Give them lots of sun (or lamp), and they grow best when it is a little warmer. At 3 weeks choose which ones to keep, the strongest ones. Pull out the rest and discard. At 6 weeks, they can go into their individual pots, with the same soil, sun and warmth. If your basil is leggy, give it more water. If you see flowers, pick them off because they change the taste of the leaves.
I love that you cook so fearlessly. Trying new recipes, substituting intuitively. I can't buy pre-packaged everything, and have to figure out how to make stuff at home. Trying new, difficult recipes is the way to go.
Wishing you the best of luck with your indoor herb garden. I love mine and cook with them all the time. I have 2 tips. 1. Garden centers are beginning to pop up. You might have better luck buying plants than starting from seeds. Plus instant gratification. 2. My downfall is watering. I'll walk by the plants and think, "Oooh, I should water them". Then I walk away and forget. Soooo, get a cute watering can and keep it full of water right next to your plants. That way you can water them as soon as you think of it and the cute watering can adds to your indoor garden decor.
I’ve seriously been thinking about doing the 75 hard challenge - was talking myself out of it because usually if I don’t have an accountability buddy to do a challenge like that with me I won’t stick with it. But I’m down to tag along with ya if you do it!!
Me too! I've been listening to Andy Frisella's podcast for a while now and I enjoy it a lot! I tried 75hard last year and it helped me soooo much! If Bea starts doing it Im gonna do it again for suuuuure!!
@@syerega i recommend you to listen to Andy Frisella's podcast on Spotify. Actually the whole program is supposed to be inconvenient, it's supposed to be HARD. The program is not about losing weight or getting fit, but it's about getting you mentally tough. It's very very interesting and I can guarantee you it works.
Currently a week into #75hard the first three days were the hardest but once I got through that rough patch it became routine . I’m hoping it stays that way for me, but I also recognize that any challenges I may face will only make me stronger 💪🏼💪🏼 great video today Bea 💕
@@BeatriceCaruso growing herbs inside can be challenging. I highly suggest trying a small area outside near your kitchen. I already have fresh herbs popping up in my herb garden. Oregano, sage, thyme, parsley all come up year after year. Cilantro and dill re-seed if you allow them to bolt. If your 100% set on indoor growing give the little herb grow containers with a grow light attached a try. I had good luck for a year or so then they got weird and kinda leggy so I pulled them and tried outside and never looked back. Good luck!
Can confirm, you turn 30 and you become a plant mama. SHOW ME ALL YOUR PLANTS! In the Netherlands, the grocery store gives you "moestuintjes" like tiny garden plants to start in the spring. It means like tiny indoor garden.
Pro tip for potted herbs. Get herb fertilizer! Your plants will need it! I fertilize mine with organic fertilizer 1 time a month but it will depend on your planter size, soil quality, and fertilizer type.
Your outfits are so cute!! Fellow plant mom here! For the herb garden keeping your plant babies close to the window is going to help a lot with growth or a counter top grow light set up would work as well! Seedlings can be a little delicate to start out so be patient but it’s worth it!
"I'm all about finding furniture second hand. The only downside is - it migbt be HAUNTED" Lmao I died. I was thinking that before you even said it. I also feel like I dislike clothes from the thrift store cuz I feel like the clothes hold the energy of the person who used to own them. It freaks me out.
I figured out the used clothes thing a long time ago, I'm definitely sensitive to that type of thing. However....I never thought about the ghost factor with used furniture....Like how?!?!
..... Bea .. soon to start her stand-up comedy series! ... wait.... that’s what we’ve been watching all along! You’re so awesome. I love to see fellow introverts breaking through that extrovert wall!!! OMG and those Chetty Special guest appearances... Ya killin me here!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼❤️
The 75 hard challenge makes me so nervous. It seems like it's just more of the extreme fads that are completely unsustainable and promote disordered eating. Like really disordered eating. Idk, maybe that's just me, but it reminds me of so many of the stuff I've tried in the last that just ended up doing WAY more harm than good
Actually you aren’t told what to eat or not eat just to follow a diet ( your choice) with the exception being alcohol ( no drinking) it’s more of a mental challenge than anything. Read 10 pages of a non fiction book, drink a gallon of water, (2) 45min workouts 1 has to be outside and a daily photo, also if you miss any of these things you start from day 1 again. I did it twice last year
@@monicajackson-brown9937 But anything that is that prescribed isn't good for people who need restarts. You end up feeling like a failure. Also, a pic every day seems excessive. And why only non-fiction?
I thought the same thing! Especially if you already haven't been eating healthy or working out regularly, I feel like our bodies aren't made to bounce between extremes like that. What's going to happen after you stop working out for an hour and a half a day? I think the whole point is to try and help you build healthy habits with the reading and drinking water and working out and everything, but starting all those habits at once seems like a nightmare. Literally all you're gonna think about all day is this challenge, and that doesn't seem healthy.
I too almost 30, & as soon as you said "do you wanna see the new plants I got" I just said yaaassss. I bet it's hard to feel connected to people online but I hope you find comfort in the fact that have made people online feel like they are watching an old friend they have known forever, navigating the same sh~t that they are going through but online. I hope you never stop making videos, or if you do, we still get the opportunity to watch you grow, it encourages me to keep growing too 💖
I garden, it's actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. Get you some small containers with drainage holes and bagged potting mix (the pros say to use seedling starter mix...I use good ole miracle grow, which apparently is a sin lol). Put some soil in a bowl and add a little water & mix it up. You want it to clump together but not be sopping wet. Fill the containers and gently push the soil down so they are actually all filled up and not have a bunch of air. Plant your seed according to the package directions, and then put your planter containers in something like one of those rectangle clear plastic containers that salad mix comes in (to make a mini green house). Put the mini greenhouse somewhere warm in your house, I put mine on top of the dryer. Keep the soil "moist" (you can do this by spraying it with a spray bottle, or gently pouring water in them) and soon you will see little plants popping up! When that happens, take the lid off of your "greenhouse" and move the seedling to a windowsill that gets direct sunlight. I have had the best luck so far with basil, it seems super easy to grow. I just started parsley and rosemary as well, they just germinated. I never knew a little seedling could be so fun lol. Cant wait to see your kitchen herb garden!
I read a study recently that said counting calories on apps is actually really unhelpful for about 60% of people, not because CICO doesn't work but because it encourages people to eat more processed food because it's easier to count the calories. I also do this haha
This is definitely true for the IIFYM peeps, and I fell into the trap briefly. I would cut eating more "real foods" and try to fit in oreos and French fries 😬
I believe this!! I do CICO but in a paper notebook. I have a sticky note with whatever food I have on hand with the calories/gram (so like it says "tomatoes 0.18, cucumber 0.1, pastrami 1.04" etc) and I just update that if I buy anything or use anything up. I don't end up eating as much processed stuff because I'm not looking for labels to scan that way. So far I'm down 67 lbs!
When I go out to places or eat out at places where it’s hard to track, I only do it on days I’m okay with not tracking. I hope that makes sense. Some days I track and I’m on point and some days I don’t and give myself a little grace. This helps me one not eat out as much and two helps relieve the stress when I do!
"In my head it sounded so much cooler than it was." = me after every conversation. This episode is hilarious!! ♥♥♥♥ The Sesame Street Squad with the gangsta/elevator music was *chef's kiss* perfection. Also - Onward is one of my fam's fave movies! You have good taste in movies, girl!
I did the 75 hard challenge and it was awesome when I did it.....but the moment I finished....all hell broke loose and I gained back all that weight I lost and then some. I have videos on my channel on both (the challenge and the weight gain) but it could just be my experience ! Good luck to anyone who tries it, may the odds forever be in your favour 🤞😭
It does seem problematic to me....especially the taking a picture of yourself daily. I fear it would only fuel my all or nothing tendencies too. Personally, I'm out this challenge. I'm finally starting to understand the wisdom in following the middle road and don't want to "relapse" so to speak. This type of challenge seems like it would trigger the nothing after the all mentality, at least for people like me.
@@bloodorangemoon yup, I agree. I like the concept of the challenge and I see where the creator of it is coming from. I just think a lot of people, myself included, forgot what to do when the challenge is over or when motivation is gone. For now, I am focusing on bettering my daily habits and forming a routine that I know I can stick to. Which is basically like forming a lifestyle change which I know we've all heard of. Sighs, this journey is never easy but as long as we keep trying, I think that's what matters !!!
@@trackingwithcynthia You can't fail if you don't quit right? My whole approach this time around, losing weight post kids, all about what I can do long term. I ask myself, Can I do this for the next 50ish years? If the answer is a heck no (keto) then I don't do it. Consistency is where the payoff is at.

But you are trying to lose weight, and its working. You are inspiring me so much. My goal is 20kg. Have a wonderful evening and a blessed week 🤗
I would say do the 75 challenge *after* you’ve put yourself through the major life change of preparing for and moving into your new house. :)
Can’t keep plants alive as much as I want to. I got an aero garden and it’s a game changer. Now I always have herbs in my kitchen.
Here's a vote FOR the 75 Hard group challenge - I'm in!
Your goofiness brings joy to my life.
If you have enough space for a craft room in your new place, maybe you could someday tackle clothing alterations to cope with your size changing? Taking stuff in is pretty easy, and it'll probably be so fun to watch!
I’ve been wanting to do 75 Hard, especially now that the weather is getting nicer. I will totally do this with you!!!
Is it just me or is Bea getting very good at cooking!
Definitely seems like a recipe for failure and feeling bad about yourself, especially for anyone struggling with mental health issues.
This is beautiful!!!
Sorry for your loss - your mum sounds like she was hilarious xx
Sorry for your loss❤
GIRL you look incredible in that shorts outfit omg
I died when you pulled out the 5th Italian seasoning. 😂
One time I found four chili powders in the cabinet.
Oh my boy friend for some reason kept thinking we didn’t have dried mustard and kept buying it. Dried mustard is expensive, i found 6 in the cabinet 😂
you mom is like mine, she loves some things as long as she doesn't know what's in them, like she loves alfredo sauce but hates anything with cream and milk 😂
Beatrice is like one of the cutest people I've seen. I've never met you but you're like one of my best friends now 🥰🥰🥰
I didn’t know you could hire the Sesame Street crew as your personal bodyguards. 🤣🤣🤣 keep up the good work 🐝 👏🏼
“We DoNt LiKe ThE iDeA” I laughed so hard at that😂😂
I felt like they were ambiguous, I wasn't sure whether they were for or against it? 🤣
I laughed all through this video: the Sesame Street Squad, your intro, the haunted furniture (I feel the same way!), the rosemary, the no bra wearing. Bea, I love your videos. You are awesome. And I would love to do the 75 Hard challenge. Yes!
Dry cat food to stale marshmallow ratio 😂😂 girl you always crack me up!
I’ve never head of the 75 hard challenge before this video, but I’m in! 1. Need a challenge. 2. Need motivation. 3. Need a virtual squad. 4. Need not to think, just do! Bea, thanks for the invite, and cheers to your awesomeness💖
Every time I watch your videos I want to start a UA-cam simply because you make me feel like I'm not alone in the struggle. And we need more of that.
Onward is one of my FAVORITE movies. I cry almost every time at the end.
Love you! :)
I'm so proud of you for sticking with it and getting back on track omggggg!!! GET IT!!
Lol. Yes I have to keep my hands and my kids hands out of the box cuz I say we all have to eat it all! Lol.
All of my furniture is second hand. They just needed a little TLC and now they all look wonderful.
Brilliant advice. Thanks a lot!
What about water schedule? I often over water my poor plants :(
@@rebeccawestie9191 yes that's a tough one.
ONWARD IS AMAZING I CRY EVERYTIME I WATCH IT
I’ve seriously been thinking about doing the 75 hard challenge - was talking myself out of it because usually if I don’t have an accountability buddy to do a challenge like that with me I won’t stick with it. But I’m down to tag along with ya if you do it!!
You can count me in, though 75 days sounds quite daunting. Is there a 60 day challenge? But this would only be 2 more weeks. Guess I’ll look it up.
Me too! I've been listening to Andy Frisella's podcast for a while now and I enjoy it a lot!
I tried 75hard last year and it helped me soooo much!
If Bea starts doing it Im gonna do it again for suuuuure!!
Did it twice last year!
Interested in 75 day challenge. But we are still in winter here. So how do you do it outside if it’s freezing out??
@@syerega i recommend you to listen to Andy Frisella's podcast on Spotify. Actually the whole program is supposed to be inconvenient, it's supposed to be HARD. The program is not about losing weight or getting fit, but it's about getting you mentally tough. It's very very interesting and I can guarantee you it works.
Currently a week into #75hard the first three days were the hardest but once I got through that rough patch it became routine . I’m hoping it stays that way for me, but I also recognize that any challenges I may face will only make me stronger 💪🏼💪🏼
great video today Bea 💕
Used furniture: "the only downside may be it might be haunted." LOL!!!
Just gotta say, that tuscana chicken looked absolutely divine
I had to made it. Smells like pizza and is delicious. 👍
I was just telling my niece yesterday that if I have a plan I won't go through it. But if I take it day by day I accomplish more 😌
Chetti makes me like cats. He's so responsive. In other news, she's absolutely hilarious.
Bea!
Immediately clicked off a UA-cam channel to watch this!
I appreciate your diligence!!!💛🦕💛
@@BeatriceCaruso growing herbs inside can be challenging. I highly suggest trying a small area outside near your kitchen. I already have fresh herbs popping up in my herb garden. Oregano, sage, thyme, parsley all come up year after year. Cilantro and dill re-seed if you allow them to bolt.
If your 100% set on indoor growing give the little herb grow containers with a grow light attached a try. I had good luck for a year or so then they got weird and kinda leggy so I pulled them and tried outside and never looked back. Good luck!
Ha, me too, I was watching Natacha Oceane!!
No, I laughed at your intro!!
We all laughed 🤣 perfect intro B!
"SQUAD!" 😆😆
okay can we talk about how good you look in the suit😍 the yellow looks so beautiful with your skin!!
I agree. Bea looks AMAZING in the yellow swimsuit. Makes me want to go out and buy one.
I literally started 75Hard today! Would love to do it with the rest of the group too.
Your outfits are so cute!! Fellow plant mom here! For the herb garden keeping your plant babies close to the window is going to help a lot with growth or a counter top grow light set up would work as well! Seedlings can be a little delicate to start out so be patient but it’s worth it!
Probably others have mentioned - I have an aerogarden of herbs on my kitchen counter. LOVE IT!
Swapping with friends works great for me! No Haunting
How does the haunting work tho? Is the ghost sitting in a chair that gets carried everywhere? Don't mind me I just might be overthinking this
Wouldn't new clothes hold energy from the overworked and underpaid Chinese children who made them?
@@TurtleMyrtle12 wow I never thought of it like that, but you're right
..... Bea .. soon to start her stand-up comedy series! ... wait.... that’s what we’ve been watching all along!
No need to follow a dangerous food plan to do the 75 hard
@@monicajackson-brown9937 and the workout that is outside can be as simple as taking a walk
@@Alicia-hh9mo I actually think it was at work (I'm a doctor) so I'm struggling to find it, I'll have another try later :)
I hadn't been on youtube in a while and was like "I wonder how Bea is" and then you posted a video right before I clicked on your page.
Bea it was so lovely to see you able to spend time with your family. What a special time.
I wish I could like this video 10 times for your Mom! We love when "elmo" is around🤣
I’m working thru the challenge now (albeit a slight modification on the 45 minute x2 exercise). Off to see your video now.
@@Gerbertales awesome! Hats off to you, something is always better than nothing :)
13:32 omg the cat really said “hello” 😂❤️
OMG Beatrice! We actually own that crazy hip hop pug bunny thing. When my daughter was two she found it at Walgreens and giggled like crazy. Two years later and I hear that darn song multiple times a week. Let me tell you, that song gets stuck DEEP in the brain! Love your channel. Keep going girl. I’m in this right with ya!
😂😂😂
But why did the presentation of your lunch look like an additional sesame street character? 😂
I literally was thinking... bea hasn't uploaded yet... and this popped up... ❤ the realness to the weight loss struggle
I highly recommend the 75 Challenge! I was blown away by the progress. I usually beat myself up and it was nice to actually see and feel change. I felt mentally and emotionally stronger. ALSO.... your Sesame Street Gang was cracking me upppppp!
I was waiting for the music to change to reservoir dogs or somethhing for that moody sesame walk...
I'm struggling so hard at the moment. Desperate to get back on track. Congrats on the weight loss this week!
Same here! I lost 34 pounds last year and now it’s slowly but surely all coming back. And I’m trying to be kind to myself and not be Frustrated but it’s hard.
You can make a wall with pallets for your plants in the kitchen.. and you can basically use this idea and do it with any material and size.
Onward is freaking fantastic!!! Completely agree!! I watched it the first time with my 5 year old boys and now I randomly watch it by myself. And my boys constantly yell "youre never going to be ready....MERGE" while Im driving! Hahah.... I've also talked all of my coworkers without kids into watching it....and they love it!! Its just a great movie!
