Heated tile floor! What a great idea 😊
The best!
I learned off you tube and have never taken a class or know anyone who knits. I’m doing good I learn from lots of people. Thank you for this video now I can block projects I have finished.
That also how I learned way way back.
I am fortunate to have a perfect blocking area....a pool table...it has a faux-leather cover, and it's a good height 😊
That's a great spot! My dog wouldn't try to lay on it all the time.😂
Thanks I had no idea I should be using hot water to soak my garments before blocking. I’ll do that next time.
Try it and let me know if it makes a difference.
I am follower on you French channel . See you talking about this cardigan . But your TikTok made me want to knit this .
Thanks for coming over to hear me talk about it some more!
Am I correct in assuming blocking is not just a one time process? You would use the same process after wearing the garmet to wash and dry it?
Yes I always use the same process. I only wash my untreated wool sweaters once a year and give them the full spa treatment 😉
Hi! I have a question about blocking. I just finished a tiny cardigan. Should I block first and then add the buttons or the other way around? And also, I used drops merino extra fine yarn for the cardigan and the washing instructions say to not soak. Does that mean I can't block it at all?
I sincerely have no idea why it says not to soak. Maybe because of possible color bleeding? I would soak for 15 minutes like I do for all my knits.
@@cloknits Thanks! But what do you think sewing on the buttons. Before blocking or is after blocking better? 😁
@@Qiwyn I don't think it makes much of a difference. I would do what makes you the most motivated to put them on! I usually block first and then never put on the buttons cause i just wanna wear it! haha
@@cloknits Okay, thanks! I was just thinking if the result is more even/precise when adding buttons after blocking. But if it works either way, that's good. I can block it now that the weather is fine and warm and leave the buttons for later. 😄
Pfarrer Kneip kur for your singles :D
I don't know what that means!!! haha
