@@lucasrg9238 yeah lol, I actually think beating Zote 10 times was considerably harder... don't get me wrong, the Nightmare King was a bitch as well, but killing Zote without getting hit once was quite the challenge. It took me like 3.5 hours to beat the 10 of them in one sitting. No achievement for the path of pain is also a disappointment, not to speak of the pantheon of hollownest (that last one I haven't even tried yet - looks like a true ball ache to complete).
No. The Journal isn't just the Hunter's notes. The little symbol (A Dream snowflake) above the description on the bottom being different from the one of regular mobs (The Hunter's Head) indicates that those weren't made by the Hunter.
Joe Vegas his glorious cries, dramatic movements, and pure bliss in simply being able to fight a good fight once more, makes him one of my favorite bosses in almost every context, plus I’m able to do his opening shout pretty well so I’m proud of that!
I wanna thank Team Cherry for making the whole thing living... I feel sad for Dung now... really... he missed all his comrade, the old great glory... And still, uphold his duty... when others have fallen...
And yet, even though his resplendent white carapace has turned auburn with age and grime, he continues on fearlessly. Truly, an example to Knights everywhere.
I wish Team Cherry can make the 3 nails master storyline as well. because one of them remember all these 5 knights... perhaps they had something in the past, and witness the fallen of Hallownest, which ended up their decision to become a hermit.
After his defeat, the White Defender pledges to his king that he will rebuild the kingdom, restoring it to its former glory. In spite of the fact that the ending of the game is bittersweet, knowing that the future of the kingdom is in capable hands after your character's job is done is reassuring.
My head canon is that after the Knight's job is done and he dies / goes to the abyss along with the rest of the shades, Hornet, Ogrim (the Defender) and maybe several other bugs come together to rebuild Hallownest.
We got a whole court! Hornet would be the Queen, Ogrim her faithful knight, Lemm and Cornifer as record keepers, and Zote as the court fool! It’s perfect.
What the white defender says after defeat: maybe he can make you a knight too, what jolly adventures we will have. Hollow Knight 2: you team up with the Dung Defender

Cherry makes me sad about every character and that's saying something because I never get sad at movies and stuff They just have a way of making me really like characters and then crushing them and their dreams in front of me

Apologies if you had already planed on playing them though. Sundered- Fantastic artwork, chilling bosses that really make you think you are going to die, deceptively simple combat layout, and it's from the same people that made Jotun so you know it is going to be a quality piece of work. Cuphead- Yeah, you need to play this when it comes out, no question. The developers themselves are trying to set a world record for most boss fights in a run and gun game (30+), each with vastly different attack patterns and gimmicks. This combined with the fact it's supposed to be Dark Souls level difficult makes this a must play for your channel.
I'm playing Sundered right now, and i don't think it's possible to do all bosses with no damage. Some of them spawn too many enemies and the dodging abilities are very limited. I will still record it, but probably without the challenge. As for the Cuphead, I've been waiting for this game for a long time, so I will definitely record it.

The Dung Defender was indeed a great warrior of the past who protected the Pale King and his kingdom with 4 other knights. The Grey Prince Zote is just how Bretta imagines Zote in her dreams.
Im gonna theorize about the events following the fall of the radience, we all know a tiny bit about the dlc coming out but one thing i question is how the vessle (what in calling the person you play as) reunite with his body and why, the creation of a vessle was a forced act.. it striped all and any emotion from whatever they used to fill them. And any vessles with any emotion were basicly scraped and left to become the shades... your siblings. Idk why emotions seemed to somehow determen the perfection of a vessle or how the radience would have manipulated such emotion, and this leads me to think about zote. He is in simmaler apearence to any basic vessle with a mask and cloak but actually speaks and thinks and dreams. Maybe zote was the worst of them all, a vessle that was the most imperfect, now ik zote said he hatched but maybe it was part of the birthing proccess of a vessle. He may have been created and escaped somehow to live among other bugs instead of being cast out. But hay im too lazy to think of the rest of this.
I'd really like to bring him up to Dirtmouth, talking to Elderbug and maybe coupling him with Bretta. He's such a great guy. Loyal, high energy. I really feel for the guy.
When I tried to beat him using a mixed build with spiders and flies, I could literally not see anything at times because of the shit that was happening on the screen. So good that he is also shit-king
In case they ever put out another dlc for this with more bosses, fury of the fallen and grubberfly's elegie combo so at 1 hp you deal much more damage. Usually a problem, but with your boss fighting method...
The first boss just makes no sense at all. But it's still good to take a look at the piece of Bretta's mind. And the second... oooh boy, that boss is SOMETHING. More puzzle pieces to this lore!
So I know that you can fight these guys multiple times and they get stronger. I can tell Zote was fought several times, but did you fight white defender so he got new attacks?

IMO, first boss is the girl's imagination about zote. In that dream, he is grey prince who is mighty, mysterious etc... Also in that dream she was like a queen who was served by small zote. And main char landed on a bed first indicates that... Well ify know what i mean. She had huge desire for being loved. I love the dung knight even more, he is always loyal to the king. He created some figures by dung and in his dream, he was still in the white palace and had recognition from the king and other knights. Hạt off to the productor. Sorry for bad english

IMO, first boss is the girl's imagination about zote. In that dream, he is grey prince who is mighty, mysterious etc... Also in that dream she was like a queen who was served by small zote. And main char landed on a bed first indicates that... Well ify know what i mean. She had huge desire for being loved.
I love the dung knight even more, he is always loyal to the king. He created some figures by dung and in his dream, he was still in the white palace and had recognition from the king and other knights.
