The first truck I remember dad had was an International K farm truck. It was gone around 1960 then a 62 Chevy pickup and GMC grain truck. I sometimes drove the 70 Chevy one ton cattle truck to high school when picking up supplies in town. Then a Chevy C 50 that was on the farm when the farm sold 8 years ago. Watching you save the old iron makes my heart happy.
I can't believe you smashed the Tahoe with those two front immaculate seats those seats alone are $500 you should open up a warehouse to put such items in interior pieces is all I'm saying are worth a lot of money😮🎉🎉
I agree, and I have never seen a farm truck that old have factory AC. If I had the 15,000 dollars I would buy it in a heartbeat and drive it back here to Pennsylvania.
I waited a month to bid on this truck only to to see the price go insane at the end of the auction . I'm glad you got so at least I can see it in action! I also own a salvage yard and I've NEVER seen a big back window on a big 60-66 truck not to mention A/C on a 292. I bet it's the only one left in running condition

Hello Silas. happy new year! Wow! What a sweet truck!!! truly is in awesome condition, you are correct that this is a special order truck that you just never see. It has factory tented glass in great condition with factory A/C , & Deluxe Trim. I think it is such a cool truck. Silas, please do not cut this up at all, it is perfect as is. I hope you fine a buyer soon so it can live on.
It's good to see your new video Silas and hoping that you and your family are doing well and having a great start to the new year. I also enjoy when you go through the interiors of the vehicles looking for treasures and money left behind. Hope to see one of those videos soon as well. Take care Silas.
$15k is nothing for this truck. I’m retired and old!!!! If I was in my 40’s I’d be flying over to buy this and drive it to Virginia! I love it. All it needs is bucket seats!! Nice video. Man that truck is cheap for what we see at dealers.
I have a soft spot for those farm trucks. They could tell some tales if they could talk, they're also a small part of the farmer's legacy. I know you hate it dear but yes you need to make room. there's always going to be vehicles coming in. Folks don't consider just how hard you try to give the classics a second chance. Praying you and your precious family have a safe, prosperous new year full of many blessings and adventures. Stay safe and GOD bless
Restoration on that well maintained farm truck would be a very easy task! :D Wouldn't be much work for an enthusiast who's into restoration. A dream find, that's for sure! 😃👍👍
The Chevy Bonanza is highly collectible and that one looks too far gone but the good parts are valuable especially the “Bonanza” badges.Hope you and me and everyone has a better new year and that we all remember to be kind to one another.
Dear Mr. Silas. 👍👌👏 Oh WOW, you purchased some really, really nice trucks. The one with the rare options could easily be put back to daily work. I love the big six cylinder inline engines. A lot of torque in them. Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and health in particular.
I just wanted to tell you brother you’re doing a great job. Also, the truck is very unique and considering the condition and everything working. I think you are a triple your asking price and that still wouldn’t be too high because it’s such a unique truck a guy like you works hard enough deserves to make some decent money on those trucks. I just don’t want to see you cut yourself short, God bless you and your family. Keep up the good work that the Lord has planned for you
Our last farm came with, I think it was a 1947 Chevy grain truck with a dump bed. The Owner ,told me that it hadn't been started in about 20 years . My buddy from Church came over and helped me change the fluids and filters, I had to put a new hoses starter and rebuild the carb and new master cylinder. Only took up about 2 days of work getting it done. Fired right up, drove it to our CO-OP around 8 miles away. When we got there 😜 I don't think there was any tread left on the dry rotted tires. Then I realized the 2 outer rear tires had literally disintegrated. I paid for the new tires and drove it back home, they also replaced both rear wheel cylinders and brake lines. I don't think I ever got it over 50 mph, howling like a pack of wolves, the low gears. My brother rode with me 1 time 😮😅, wouldn't do it again because he got hoarse throat trying to talk over the noise. We got rid of it a couple years later because I got laid off from my town job. I always regretted my decision and never found one that nice again.A True workhorse.
You always got all the cool stuff. I'm trying to save up and hopefully by spring I'll see something old you have that I want. All our old big trucks in Buffalo are mostly gone or total rot boxes by now and not worth fixing, and I want something old, (1950s, 60s, 70s), something I can work on myself and use for my carpentry, hauling tools and materials. I like Dodge, Chevy, IH. And a lot of those old farm trucks still have a lot of work years left in them, built to last.
