I know where the first box truck that delivered Mountain Dew is. I wish that it could be saved. If I had the money, I would do it. It started back in 1940, in Johnson City Tn. That is a wonderful piece of history. Please let me know if you are interested. I enjoyed watching your channel. Thanks
I've been watching you pretty much from the start of your videos and I can tell you you are a teacher teaching a generation teaching about saving the past and bringing it forward and not just crushing it. You have become a teacher the way that you describe the words that you use and explaining things OUTSTANDING !!!
There were 8 retractable fords in a neighborhood yard. They all looked complete several friends attempted to buy one or two, they would not part with them 20 years later a ramp truck showed up and they were all gone, One of the neighbors followed the last load and it went to a local harvester junkyard, The yard would not sell a complete one and one week later all eight were gone forever
I always learn something new when i watch your videos because you take the time to explain things. Keeps up the good work and all the explanations. I really appreciate what you do.
A cliffhanger !! Love the concept. I'm guessing a larger one is coming in it's place, unless you're going all out and getting a grinder and then you just have to scoop into bins. The one used at the GM Proving grounds was larger than old greenie. I know, stay tuned. Thanks for sharing.
Ironic those eyebrow hoods on the 60 or 61 Chevy whatever it was like you said. The early 60 eyebrow Hood comes and goes as far as falling in and out of favor. I've known many who prefer the 65 and 6 hoods parrot say swap them. Maybe I should go behind them and see if they still have the eyebrow hood. I like them myself
I listen to you explaining all about how manufacturers changed the hoods/lights on vehicles, which proves to me you really do enjoy your work/play/life?keep doing what you do and I'll keep watching?from a fascinated BIGMICK IN THE UK 🇬🇧
Shipment of Noses - Hoods - Doors for Silas - Money to be Made - ah ! Great Crushing Session and Good By to the Crusher - bring out the Kleenex ! Great Video and many Cheers from Australia !!!!

Hey Silas, new to your channel but love the explanations, do you have a pic of a nose that’s been turned into either a desk or a bbq or chair I guess Thanks and enjoying the vids thanks 🙏
0:42 - Aww, man, those things are AWESOME for storage you can reach. On the farm, we had a similar one but the pie slice were tilted down toward the middle for fasteners. Cool thing to keep around, but I know money is money! 4:20 - What a cool truck! 9:11 - Dupree's? (Due-Preeze)
I thought I had owned every model and make of the fifty nine fords.... yet here was not one but two fifty nine four doors .... one is the hardtop and the other a sedan. Just a car to you but was my favorite year until the sixty three two door hardtops and I was off on a hunt for more. I put three hundred thousand miles on one sixty three two door hardtop driving it almost every state and most of canada and mexico

Silas, count me as one of the subscribers who likes your explanations of the differences in year models and why one is worth more than another.

Junkyard treasure could be a channel of its own. Love what you do keep up the amazing adventures and thank you for letting us tag along .
Did that spider on the windshield come to say his goodbyes to the crusher also? 😂😂😂
It's good that the 60 Ford truck is on it's way to a new home Silas. It certainly didn't stay for long.
Are you feeding the guys beans for lunch? That on dude blew his britches out!😂😂😂😂
Well Silas you don't usually go for click bait, or cliff hangers, so I reckon something big is up.
Very sad to see the crusher leave.
From Kentucky USA...Silas, I watch you some. You're entertaining. But I also see you as a decent dude. God bless.
I sorry to hear your not going to crush cars any more. That was one of my favorite parts of your videos.

I had 1962 Comet S22 back in 1974.
Too bad about the El Camino, they’re getting rare even for that particular generation. Really like the 59 Fairlanes, cool nose and trunk art.
I had an International around that year when I was in HS I tinkered with. Always had a soft spot for them.

My friend had a comet back in the 80’s. Nice car
The Oldsmobile bumper and tail lights are probably worth more than that entire rear end for display

Does this mean that the trolls finally won and you’re going to save everything now?
That will never happen. The day I decide I’m 100% done I will scrap everything on the property and get out of the business 😆

In the opening video the round parts bin is a very desirable piece, you probably already know that, I recently paid 600 dollars for one .
