The way everyone starts screaming after hearing the first note of "Black Parade" and everyone starts singing each and every word of the song makes me shudder and cry.
THE FIRST NOTE OF WELCOME TO THE BLACK PARADE AND THEY ALL SCREAM AND START SINGING. But what's sad about this is that there's not as much emotion in his voice as there normally is.
Its because this was an under 18 thing so he couldn't ramp up the crowd and himself because he always gets thrilled when the crowd freaks out and the only way to do so is to swear
+Grace Face If this is a sponsored event and its an under 18's event then he isnt allowed to hype up the audience through swearing which is what he usually does, also he might be really homesick don't forget he has a kid and a wife and he is in Europe.
Totally 2 years late here for commenting, but read recently that towards the end of band/when they decided to split he had depression again and was drinking again. It might be that showing through a little bit, or depending on when this was recorded it might of been towards one of their last performances so it might of hit them hard (all the members look a bit down) also they might of found it easier to connect with smaller concerts as it was more intimate

I had seen them before this and I had never seen Gerard being so sassy on stage before. He also said this show was the one they'd been looking forward to playing. I think if they did lose enjoyment in playing it would have been later on. If you look at the Reading performance you can see how happy they are to be onstage.
I'm the girl in the bright orange poncho on top of my dads shoulders, when the drums kicked in the song two massive mosh pits opened on either side of us, that was possibly one of the most scary and awesome moments in my life so far. I really hope My Chem come back to Scotland soon because they are epic live.
