I was wondering about getting rid of the rifle mag pouch on my battle belt all the time. I've watched/read tons of videos/articles about this. No one did it except you. What a brilliant idea for the use of dump pouch, thank you so much !
Use a bit of curtain wire, it's plastic coated tightly wound spring steel, round the top of your dump bag. It holds the bag open perfectly and folds up to fit inside the pouch. Enjoyed the video.
@Instructor_Zee . Thanks for taking the time to talk kit... Most of all, thanks for the tip on ATS. Supporting small businesses is important to me. I had been looking to change up my war belt. I just ordered a tactical mike bundle.
Zee is demonstrating the k.i.s.s. principle perfectly, keep it simple stupid don't carry a bunch of stuff you won't use and don't need. great vid thanks Zee
I appreciate the fact that you explain everything. You see a lot of people running "tacticool" shit at the range and what not. But for more of us function over looks is important because as you stated that when shit hits the fan and you have to do some hands on or something all your shit goes everywhere. I am new to your channel but big fan already. I work security as well and this helped me setup my belt for range and duty. Only differences is I use HSGI Taco pouches for my Handgun and I have one of their dual rifle/pistol mag pouches with flap behind my holster. In the Rifle pouch I put my flash light and multi-tool and use the pistol mag pouch for a spare Tourniquet or Glowsticks for duty and then able to use it for mags on the range
"I use it for everything BUT that." This should be the advertisement tagline for multitools. It's dead-on perfect. Think you have a reason to buy a multitool? Buy one, and then you'll use it for everything but that reason. Satisfaction guaranteed!
Awesome 👍 exactly how I have mine set up. Only difference is I have the cuffs and the multi tool-flashlight pouch switched. I find it more convenient to be able to use the handheld light if I am holding the gun with my dominant hand, and besides it won't ever be a need to hold the cuffs and the gun together. Very cool setup
Personally I greatly enjoyed this video, I not only do Armed Security down here in San Antonio but I'm also going through online classes for my Bachelor's of Criminal Justice and then afterwards I plan to go into the Army to be an 11A Infantry Officer. So for me after spending the last couple of years constantly going through what I have on my duty belt, constantly making sure to have everything set up so that way I can draw and pop off rounds when needed, I found this to be refreshing. I always like seeing how other people do their load outs as I find it cool all the different ways that others will have their stuff set up and WHY they have it that way, great way for taking notes and getting pointers on the best ways to be prepared for when shit hits the fan.
So your main concern is “popping off rounds” ? As a security guard you should probably look more at using less than lethal force or some tactical report writing.
@@justanothergunner1847 If i have to draw my gun my ONLY concern is going to be putting as many accurate bullets down range at the bad guy(s) as i can. I’m glad you mentioned black for your gear. I think too many of us civilians get caught up in the cool guy look and end up buying multi cam when black makes more sense to me. It works great at night and like you mentioned, we aren’t in the desert anymore so no need for multi or coyote. That being said, to each his own
I agree that Multicam or Coyote is silly for people that live in cities. But black is not so good when the majority of your time is spent in rural areas. I haven't seen anyone wearing all black in PineLand for example.
