John Wesley was a huge part of Porcupine Tree, one of the greatest bands in prog rock history IMHO.
A shame he never really got promoted to 'full member'. The live version of FoaBP (released as Anesthetize) is still my favourite way to experience that album, in part due to Wesley's fantastic support vocals.

John Wesley is so good, I love his guitar work and singing. He seems to be a really nice chap too. Shame he wasn't with them on the last tour. The Anethetise concert has some of my all time favouite live performances of any band. I really love Dark Matter and Drown With Me better live than the studio recordings.

I discovered P.T. only within the last 5 years or so and was able to see them just this last summer. John Wesley's replacement did a commendable job as did the bass player who replaced Colin Edwin but at their height of performing with these two, I would say Porcupine Tree was likely the best performing band in the world. I came to that conclusion after hearing the live in Tilberg discs. John Wesley should be recognized as mammoth talent.

Wow can not believe I never seen this before now. The Reilly Center in Ocala brought me here checking out your videos on UA-cam. Definitely coming to see you guys at the Marion Theater on the 25th of September in Ocala. This version really kicks ass. I met John a few years ago on the prog rock cruise. He was a super nice guy.

You guys did an original cover
First exposure to AC, but long time PT fan. Loved the piano and sax solos, but would have preferred the sax to back off a bit during the verse/chorus. Echoing the melody with such a cutting instrument is a little much for my tastes; a more mellow Supertramp sound would have served the song better IMO. Still, seems like a cool band, and I look forward to hearing more from them.
This version is awesome. It would have been great to have a flac version.
